Love this and you. You are such an incredible role model. Your shirt at the beginning of the video, "I have absolutely no desire to fit in" is perfect! Thanks for being you and encouraging everyone to express themselves as they see fit.🥰
I want to sincerely thank you for showing us other products in which to use. 🙏🏼 I have gotten so bored with the usual products that are used elsewhere and have stopped watching creators for that reason. Your willingness to try variety is damn refreshing! I never knew I could paint these shiny pieces til now. It looks incredible!!! Thank you so very much. I appreciate your time and efforts for your channel!
Even though "gray is white's cousin"... this is gorgeous! 😉 I really want to try my hand at flipping furniture. You, along with Brandy are very inspirational. Thanks for all you do and another great video. ☺️
This color combo is so elegant! I bet your client was blown away by the total transformation of their piece. Stunning work as always! And congrats on 75k, woo hoo 🥳🎉
This looks so good!! Love the gold herringbone it definitely takes it to the next level!! You laid it perfectly. You are so creative and your pieces are so unique! You definitely deserve more subscribers!
Another Beauty🌸. Not geometric oriented-too much bad times with math!!! & the 1980’s geometric!! UGH!! Love that you are using diff products!!! I Love the look of the enamel paint & the metallics!!! Been meaning to say this-I hope your husband is safe in Germany and not in Poland🙏🏻🕊🙏🏻 Oh, and that’s my grandson with his unicorn on❤️🌻❤️
This is a fantastic transformation !! I love the color and the gold stencil and hardware look great. I'm going to have to try this enamel paint. I like that it doesn't have to be sealed. Thanks Crys'Dawna for another great makeover.
When I first saw the picture of this on FB I thought you might have used painters tape to do this. Holy lot of taping was my first reaction. Lol. This is really pretty.
Nice job, and great tutorial. I still havent recovered from my last bone inlay project. But, you almost push me back to wanting to try stencils again. Lol
Loved the stencil and the gold! It really turned out great. Also loved your shirt at the first...I'll need to look online for one of those as I've never fit into a normal box, lol
You definitely achieved a more modern look, it looks awesome. Thank you for showing how you removed the child safety locks those things are awful to remove. I’ve heard good things about the wise owl paint and it was great to hear you explain how to prep to get the best result. Was the piece a wood veneer? Im really enjoying watching you use all these new products available to you and showing how to use them. Can’t wait for the next project 😁
Love this! I've said it over and over, gold is not my thing. But this would look absolutely as good with any metallic and if this was a piece I was doing for my own keeper I'd do it in pewter. But that's just my preference. I bought a floral container today with gold trim and I'm trying not to hate it ... 😜 That's not fair, it's really so pretty. I just don't love the gold. I think I might have to get out my silver and black metallics to do it over.
Congratulations on 75k! That’s awesome! Love the gray dresser with the gold; so elegant! Cutting Edge stencils are my favorites. They are perfect for large projects and they have a great collection of designs. I’m so glad you used Wise Owl. I’ve been curious about it.🌸
This came out awesome Crys'Dawna! I so love it, I bought a huge number of stencils to redo a wall now I'm thinking furniture too. lol Thank you! CONGRATULATIONS ON 75K!!
Love this and congratulations on 75k!! I want to use the one hour enamel on my kitchen cabinets but have been a little intimidated. If they are not shiny, do you still recommend the primer? Btw, a neat trick to remove anything sticky is to take a hair dryer to it and after a few seconds slowly start to peel it off. You'll be amazed and it won't take any of the surface with it. Absolutely love your tshirt! Is that your merch? If so, I'll buy one!
Wow! I definitely had to trust the process on this one😄 But it turned out beautifully!! So sleek and fresh! Love the metallic on the stencil! Great job❤️❤️❤️
Hi Crys' Dawna love your work. Are you saying shellac will make all paints crack? or just the wise owl? Can you recommend a really strong primer that works really well against bleed through and odors? Please Thank you.
Does the super77 leave a residue on the ohe gray? I used 77 on a stencil on flat latex wall paint and it damage it. If you had no issues how long did the OHE cure? Thx
Looks great Crys'Dawna! Thanks for the tip about the foam roller. I've been painting my kitchen cabinets with one and had an issue with bubbles. Not sure if it was a pressure issue or the roller. I've been having a hard time finding rollers that specifically say they're "high density" foam. Anyway, I blew on it while still wet, and it broke the bubbles. Ha, who knew !?! Do you ever wet sand your finishes?
Haha I have done that too!! So they suggest a microfiber roller or you could take a brush to break the bubbles but I blew on mine too 😂 I don’t normally wet sand but you definitely could!!! I bet you could take a hair dryer with cold air over it quickly to break bubbles….I could test it for you :)
@@BellaRenovare I bet you're right. Low setting... yes! I have another project that I'd love your tips on. I have a chest that I want do apply either wooden appliques or molds. I have a couple of different looks in mind and will probably settle on something in between. Game?
I love how this turned out. After looking at your video thinking about trying out wise owl 1 hour enamel, but I'm a creature of habit. On a high traffic area like a dresser top, if I'm selling the peice would you recommend I topcoat the dresser top?
Wow! love this and love watching you transform these works of art. Unrelated question, can you tell us about your own physical transformation over the last year or two - amazing how you just look so fit, I can just tell that you have joined your hubs in the military or something? lol. You look great. Not every video is for me, but I still enjoy watching your process and appreciate your content. Thank you!
HAHAHA well thank you for noticing!!! So truth be told fitness was a huge part for my life for years and then life go in the way. So I started being very conscious of what I was eating and I started doing light workouts. I am not following a more intense program from a youtubber her name is Caroline Girvan.
I just use One Hour Enamel first time. I found it a little intimidating in my sprayer, I used a lot. The finish is insane but you don't know that until it dries. Definitely save yourself some money and don't spray!
Wow this transformation is amazing!!! I love the herringbone! I always love your videos 💕 You make everything look so easy when I’m doing it I’m cursing 🤬 because I’m too impatient and end up making it into a mess lol
Hello Crys’Dawna! I have missed you! Please please gimme some tips on this. I’ve struggled but love it. It’s probably the hot humid weather here in Savannah Georgia! I would love some advice. Thanks so much for your help ❤️
@@BellaRenovare yes. I do think that it’s my environment. It took over 2 weeks for it to cure. Again I truly think it’s where I live. I thought maybe you had some tricks of the trade that would help me. I’m moving and would love to redo my cabinets in the kitchen to freshen it up. Thanks Crys’Dawna ❤️
@@kellyodonnell2450 o man it does seem like a super long time for it to cure, it could be moisture that got trapped and took that long to dissipate. It’s not too humid here right now but it will be soon and then I can really put it to the test. We also have radiant heat in my house which dries it up I think.
Are you done with Dixie Bell too? Seriously i would rather see you using different products being stuck only using one product that most people dont want to spend 30.00 on a 8oz container of is refreshing. Please try cheaper products that most of us furniture artists use that wont break the bank because Realistically we all wanna sell our items and actually make a profit

That's a beautiful modern makeover. On the hardware you mentioned the install was hidden tab, is that a difficult process to install?
Ooh no not at all so it sits on top of the door or drawer and you screw it from the inside it’s super easy :)
Useful tip - you can remove strong adesive with nail polisher…. I love your channel and unique style - Manuela from London, but Italian :o)
Hi Crys' Dawna love your work. Are you saying shellac will make all paints crack? or just the wise owl? Can you recommend a really strong primer that works really well against bleed through and odors? Please Thank you.
Just this particular paint :) Shellac is a good one you just don’t want to use it with an enamel

No, this is super tough there really is not a need for an extra top coat , just prep prep prep

Does the adhesive leave any residue or damage the paint?
No because I cleaned after with the degreaser and also sanded :)
What is the name of your two part hole filler?
Mine is a German bran but any multipurpose bondo or minwax has a two part wood filler will work ;)
a hair dryer takes the adhesive off easily
It didn’t work I tried
thank you for your knowledge, its appreciated. are you getting ready for a race? you look like you are slimming down a bit. not that you needed to.
This is so beautiful, I pray that your husband dosent have to go Ukraine
Let hope not ❤️❤️❤️
Did you stop doing the ten minute Tuesdays and tool talk?
Okay. All I can say is I know better

I use white gas(?) to remove adhesive remains, works like a charm, you should give it go! 😉
Just beautiful!
