Hi! Katie Im from Canada 🇨🇦 as well and I have found it hard to find alot of the products tools that Christie uses like her sander the surface pre i have been looking every where have you had the same problem
@@michelinemclean5553 look in the description box she has a link to the surf prep sander and 10% off. You have to buy that brand only through their site not in stores. Hope this helps.
Your advice on different paints and finishes is great. You gave me the confidence to restyle my kitchen cabinets and dresser in a low sheen soft green and I have added 'steam punk' copper and iron handles and towel rails which I found on ebay. It actually looks great which amazes me. I watched about 20 of your films before I worked up to it, and I saw how you just go for it with an idea, which really helped. Also, I used a roller for the first time because I saw you using different ways of applying paint. Your channel is so rewarding to follow.
Great transformation, Christina! Had to laugh when you filled all the worm holes and had bondo everywhere! I had a piece (my husband’s 100yo+ wooden tool box which was his great grandfather’s) I completely transformed, but there was so much damage (big and small) I had to use a LOT of wood filler. I wish I could add a pic of what it looked like after that step lol. But painted it smooth and did all kinds of fun techniques with it. Can’t wait to try these drawer pulls! I know exactly which piece I’m going to use them on too. I’ve struggled with trying to find the right size in anything other than plain and/or boring. Thx so much!💜
P.S. - Thanks for the discount code. I just ordered my Zibra brushes!! I have used one in the past and was actually going to pick one up today but ordered a 5 pack instead for a great price - and free shipping ! Can’t wait for them to get here. Have a blessed day !
Well Done as always Christina Muscari! That color is so rich and sophisticated. Thanks for the tips and that hardware is life changing! No more filling and re-drilling holes. Have a great weekend.
I have the Zibra triangle brush, and it is pretty great for mouldings and textured planks, gets in the cracks, nooks, and crannies easily. It also cuts to into corners beautifully.
OH MY GOSH!!!!! I watched this early this morning, sent hubby to Lowe's and got the pulls. THEY ARE AMAZING. I had a dresser with super wide holes, I did not feel like filling and creating new ones. AND i bought extra for a tall boy dresser i have, painted the same as the long dresser i got these for, and now it's a set that wasn't originally going to be. I am so thrilled. I am seriously considering a youtube channel at this point. What can be done to furniture is AMAZING. Thank you for sharing this!
Those handles!!! I could have used those about 8 years ago when painting a dresser that was missing 2 handles. I searched and searched the internet for a replacement handle with no luck. So cool! Also, I am loving that color. Beautiful.
Thanks for showing you using Simple Greek to clean. That is what I have used for years to clean furniture before refinishing furniture. And great tip to be sure to rinse it off.
And I have to comment again. I am obsessed with those brushes, particularly the square brush. When I did my kitchen cabinets last summer with enamel I got a super silky finish without brush strokes!!Great combination with the Wise Owl!
I am so glad you tried enamel. In my country its far more cheaper than any type of chalk paint and the products you usually use are way too expensive for someone who is on a budget.Of course you are a professional so you make the best choices.I have been using enamel for many projects and it works just fine. Although i suggest a top coat . The only thing about water enamel is that if you re attempting a shabby look it is not easily distressed....happy for this project
I would love to try the top coat brush. Will be checking this brush set out. What a great video trying out wise owl, have never tried it. Great tips. Thanks
Great looking piece... I think those Zibras are the best brushes I’ve ever used in all my years at restoration of everything. A great tip Cristina is to use Murphy’s Oil Soap to clean your acrylic paint from brushes..it’s MAGIC... softens and conditions too!! I’ve soaked dried paint on a brush over night and saved them!! Really great to see this paint as I’ve been wanting to try it myself. Nice finish and handles are amazing. 💯🙌🤩
I love that handle!! Today was the first time seeing them, I will be googling them!! I want to try that round brush. Thank you for sharing, I love your tips and tutorials!!!
Beautiful outcome!! I have used those handles/pulls on a couple of projects and really like them! Especially when you are looking for something to fit the predrilled holes and can’t find a thing. I would love to try one of the Zebra brushes you said worked great for top coat ! Thanks for sharing another great project.
Those are some amazing brush cant believe the finish no trying take anything away from the skill that is needed but even then what a finished look using a brush.
The square brush looks nice! Love a stubby angled edged brush even a long handles angled brush. My current price has an issue. Did not realize I needed a primer to block out an Unknow Substance on the top caused it to even seep though it was sanded and clean there was still something has seep through, Spray painted a third coat it’s still came through tacky. It had been washed sanded and wiped down b4 painting. Using a brush or rolled is my preferred way to paint. Think I’d like to try Dixie paint etc.
So surprised & happy to see you used Wise Owl, my friend has used for everything & loves it. Just bought Zibra triangle & square, would like to try wedge brush
I love Zebra brushes they're the Best! I have the square brush. I would like to try the 2 inch chiseled wedge. Like the hardware I didn't know they made those ! Thanks Christina
My daughter bought me that same brush pack for Christmas and I love them! Good to hear about the square brush in the slat spaces, I got an Ethan Allen buffet off market place for free but has those slatted sliding doors. I was a little nervous, but excited to do, and not nervous anymore!
Beautiful! And so much attention to detail filling holes, sanding between coats. I’d love to try the Zibra square brush someday. Never seen anything like that before! Love your channel.🇨🇦
I love that green!! I am going to have to try Wise Owl now too- you’ve convinced me with this great video! I’d like to try the round brush- I have the square one and love it.
Loved that paint color, I myself would have used silver hardware or perhaps glass look ones. But that is just my preference, the nightstand came out beautiful!
Hi, wow, I love it. I'll be on lookout for that style of drawer pulls. I've never used but would like to try chippy/chipping Brush. Nice color choice and now I have a few new helpful hints!! TFS
You did not disappoint with this one! I loved this project from start to finish. I loved the color and gosh that hardware is stunning! The OCD kicked in with project 🤪
Beautiful!! Gonna have to try the Zebra brushes...great find @ those handles @ Loews. Love that dark teal, Charleston GREEN? gonna try that color for a piece I have, now. Great tutorial., really inspires me. Thank you. 🙂😃
I love my Zibra brushes! Got them with a promo you did last year and the square and round ones are my favs (especially for painting chairs). This Charleston Green is a great color.
Piece looks great as all of your pieces do. I purchased the zebra brush kit quite some time ago. I love these brushes! But, unfortunately, the triangle brush fell apart. The entire bristle structure came out of the handle. I was not only shocked but saddened. They are great brushes, but I am hesitant to replace the broken one as they are pricey. I also LOVE that they are WHITE! Very clean.
Thank you for the 10% coupon on the Zibra brushes! I recently purchased my first brush and I needed more of them in my life! I ordered the "Best of 5 piece kit."
When I first saw that piece I thought why bother! LOL But WOW! It came out awesome! I am thinking about painting my buffet and I also have a huge expensive mirror that I hate to just get rid of so thinking of painting it and making it a glam piece to match my new decor. I have heard so much about chalk paint recently. What is the deal with it being used so much? Also wax, whats the deal with that and how does it differ from paint. I am also wanting to add some gold distressing to a new inexpensive mirrored and wood accent chest. I just want a little gold since I have some gold mirrored end table so I want to tie it in. Any advice?
Those adjustable bar pulls 😮 I’ll be googling 🇨🇦 sources this afternoon! Genius
Please let me know Katie I need those in my life too!!

I love that you are doing more modern pieces. I can’t believe how much this one changed from its original style.
I'm in love with Charleston Green. I painted recently a piece in this color, but in chalk paint version. Such a deep, dark green.
Love the contrast of that dark green with the gold! Just ordered my zibra brushes!!! Can't wait 😁
P.S. - Thanks for the discount code. I just ordered my Zibra brushes!! I have used one in the past and was actually going to pick one up today but ordered a 5 pack instead for a great price - and free shipping ! Can’t wait for them to get here.

This turned out so cute. Love the new pulls. I would love to try the triangle brush. Thank you for introducing us to a different brand paint.
Great transformation! Those pulls are so smart. That set of brushes has everything covered.
Beautiful transformation! That hardware is GENIUS!!!
Well Done as always Christina Muscari! That color is so rich and sophisticated. Thanks for the tips and that hardware is life changing! No more filling and re-drilling holes. Have a great weekend.
Looks great with just the primer!
I have the Zibra triangle brush, and it is pretty great for mouldings and textured planks, gets in the cracks, nooks, and crannies easily. It also cuts to into corners beautifully.
I lovvvvvve Wise Owl. It is amazing paint. Great colors and the one hour enamel is amazing! Great for cabinets!
