Good episode. I think more background to start would greatly help this interview. Maybe a revision (?)
You two should switch seats next. Allow her to interview you and provide reactions from your local news.

I am a lawyer. I have been on 4 juries. I was also arrested and framed. I was found not guilty of the felony and guilty on one misdemeanor. The cops did not show up to testify, which hurt my case. The reason is the original arrest report cleared me of both crimes as the alleged victim was asked if I committed both of the crimes I was charged with committing. The one question the jury asked was to see that report as I testified about it and the alleged victim was testified about two changes in his testimony. The prosecution knew he w0as lying and let him change his story a third time on the witness stand. They violated the Florida Rules of Professional Conduct. I am now in the process of getting the police file. I found out while voting that the city had an internal meeting before trial and closed the case and told the officers not to testify. The prosecution hid this information. Now I am hoping this meeting was taped and is in the evidence file. The reason the police went after me wa0s 0i was investigating a wrongful shooting involving a police officer. I found a witnesses who saw the entirety if the interaction from her condo lanai. They never interviewed her. My notes provided to the detective are missing from the file. I saw him afterwards and he told me he slid his card under the door.

Agree with the one comment-a brief backstory on the people accused & Dr.Lee (although I am aware of Dr. Lee); some are not. Lovely guest, but the phrase “ that is a great question” was starting to grate on the nerves.😬 I am glad to hear they are using mug shots less frequently. As a teen, I dated a guy that I should not have, but he was intelligent in some ways, but I think 🤔 he had “little man syndrome” being 5’6”, and he had a lot of charisma. He did stupid things, and eventually, in 1993, he was killed in a police 👮 chase. I was so offended, and I am sure his family wasn’t thrilled either when our local news station aired his mug shot, fresh from that summer’s arrest. As a mother of four children now, 18 is still young to me. I couldn’t imagine just having your son killed regardless why, then the damn local news, not knowing the person, airs a mugshot. It was awful. I actually called & bitched about it because I was so damn angry 🤬. I did wise up afterwards, and ended up marrying a man the total opposite, and 30 years later, I am still with him, so I did learn, but it took much ♥️ heartache 💔, to learn, even though I had always been on the straight & narrow myself. Whether an expert has helped a million, unfortunately, only one ☝️ mistake, impacts people so drastically & so deeply, I don’t know. I don’t think 🤔 any one person should be given this much power for this very reason. It is a hard one, but knowing that he will not to admit to a “mistake” says it all, for me. It is scary how one decision or one person can affect so many lives.

20 minutes into the interview and I have no idea what’s being talked about. Seems like you’re telling the story to people who are already aware of the situation. No backstory.
