What a car Joe! I am quite fond of the Panamera. Seems like an underdog in the Porsche lineup. Thank you for the continuous great content Joe! Glad to see you better 👍🏻 🔥
Panameras are the most expensive Porsche to maintain. Ask a Porsche service advisor. Terrible cars. They're beautiful but they are shit. Take my word for it............ 😡
@@drewfoster1493 Can't really comment, but I appreciate the advice. We've owned 3 Cayenne's and they've been rather flawless. Took good care of them, and the results were great. From my perspective, my Porsche experience has been very good.. But I will take your word on the Panamera! :)
Weight difference factors in heavy, which is perspicuous for over 200kgs less. The launch in the e-Hybrid is as quick as the regular Turbo S, but for everything after 60 mph the lighter one has the advantage. The real difference though comes in the corners, with the Turbo S feeling more agile (less understeery) and is faster through the bends.
I love watching the videos, where you’re standing next to a car; talking about it, because I’ve watched your feet, in every one of these videos, and I swear, your shoes are glued to the pavement. They never move. ✌️
My dad has just gotten a new panamera, he was going to get the turbo s e hybrid but at the last moment opted for the 2.9 v6 e hybrid because he’s boring. After winding him up about his decision he decided to lavish it with just shy of £45,000 worth of options. It’s by far and away the best daily I’ve ever driven and been in, we share cars and have had a new e63s wagon and an rsq8 (all short term lease excluding the Porsche) this is just light years ahead in terms of being an overall package.
Joe, I've always loved your videos and love, love, love your verbal delivery of what you experience, but you still managed to knock me off my chair when you said you could feel your brain moving forward when you hit the brakes, and move back when you hit the accelerator. You are utterly hilarious, Mate! Thanks for making me fall in love with the Panamera Sport Turismo, although I don't see myself spending quite that kind of money on a car right now. LOL!
I've got to hand it to Porsche they've really started to level up the look of their cars I used to just think of Porsches as middle aged men's cars but they've started to make them look so appealing 👀
Great review as always. My love for anything electric or hybrid is the same level as yours….. that car is absolutely bonkers but for the money or less there are so many alternatives….dare I mention depreciation too 🙈
Great video, Joe. Thank you, sir...🎩 The Panamera has certainly become a handsome brute. I wonder if they'll do a Cross Tourismo, seeing as they've done a Sport Tourismo in the Taycan...🤔
Absolutely beast, decent review Joe. I'm considering buying one of those, particularly Turbo E-Hybrid Sport Turismo (not the S). Taycan is a good car, but it's meant to be a D segment car, whereas this is an E segment car. Well, that designation might not be on point though, I believe the interior quality is even better than an S class and a 7 series. My only question is, does PDK bother you in daily driving compared to a torque converter? Last time I tried the car, I felt the double-clutch gearbox is too performance-oriented for daily driving. That one was a Panamera 4 though, but it would be still good to know your thoughts. Well done, keep up the good work!
I personally have been driving the Panamera 4E-hybrid ST daily now for 3 years and loved every mile of it. As you mentioned the hybrid drivetrain does add a lot of unnecessary weight to the car and you do feel it when your doing some spiritual driving at some twisty country roads. I think the perfect choice would be the GTS variant with the V8 TT engine. you do loose about 100 engine horsepower compared to the Turbo S hybrid but then you do same a loooot of cash and still get the big daddy V8
Funny to hear about the rarity of the Panamera in the UK. In The Netherlands the hybride version of the Panamera is quite a successful seller for Porsche!
Are you using the same bit of Road Harry uses in Harry’s Garage? Can’t decide which is better, Panamera Turbo S e-hybrid or the Taycan Turbo S. Taycan has the upper hand in the looks department.
The brief for this car was clearly to make a car do 0-60 quicker than the time it takes to say the name. Great success, although to be fair, they could have given that name to a Trabant and not been far off.
Hi Joe, just watched again...... 🙂 any chance you can get those nice people at Porsche GB at Reading to let you have a Turbo S model of Panamera Sport Turismo, so you can give us the comparison between the two? I am sure you'd like to if you can anyway. Thx Nick
Love the sound, but the high maintenance costs and the hybrid excessive complexity, is really nudging me towards a 1.9 seconds 0 -60 MPH of the pure electric Tesla S Plaid. With practically zero maintenance costs, constant free upgrading, and an impeccable crash test at the very top of the category. I wander what my brain will do with a 50% better acceleration ( F1 stuff do you know) I hope I will not pass out. But there again it has a magnificent last millisecond reaction software that would save my life in an emergency, naturally hoping that some angel will keep a keen eye on the whole matter just in case..But that sound really gets you. But I guess I will need to get used to the venomous hiss of an F15 jet fighter, minus the roar. After all I love some real classic music far more enjoyable in a smooth quite far more civilized EV .
Thank you for a great video! I am trading in an 18 Panamera 4 ehybrid sedan for the for 4SE hybrid sports Turismo that you spoke about. Comes in next month, luckily it wasn’t on that poor ship that sank. Thank you for giving that car plug during this review for the turbo. For me, where I live 5 miles from my office I often times have gotten 1000 miles on a tank of gas. But as you know, when you want to go fast, it’s available! Phil Little Falls Minnesota
@@jordenkaufman840 I only had that car about a year and a half. Drove beautifully , was just as quick and looked great and black, red interior with a green brake calipers in the sedan. only got about 25 miles on a charge and only about 20 up here in Minnesota winters . That was one of the reasons why I traded to a newer model with a larger battery capacity. Looked really hard at a turbo S.Taycan but, when you get a 30% decrease in battery capacity up here and very poor charging infrastructure it was not a good option for me
@@JoeAchilles1 love the car and if I needed a competent but subtle 4door express I’d be first in line. It’s a way better car than the RS6, which I have previously owned. These days I’ll stick to my 911 Carrera 4S but I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t tempted
Never ever change a thing about those fly-by shots!🔥

Fabulous. Sexier than an RS6.
Yeah it's certainly more special
Great car and great review Joe, glad to see Porsche given you more of their cars to review. Well done mate, keep up the good work 👏 👍
I want one, or the turbo s version, try getting one next, I’ll be interested to see how the 300kg weight loss makes a difference. Great video 👍
@@th3b0untyhunter yer I think I’d have the turbo s if i had any money
Didn’t like the Turbo S e-hybrid, felt very heavy even in a straight line it didn’t pull as hard as expected.

Pure class and elegance. Those Pixels are such a statement.
The car is brilliant too 😁
Great review Joe. Stunning car but I would just go with the Turbo S without all the weight of the hybrid system.
Different car this is a family estate equivalent to getting ab rs6

No, it sounds like a Messerschmitt. ;)
Great video Joe. Loving the Panamera in Silver very compelling. 👌
First time watcher and yes, great content. Instant sub.
Thank you 🙏
Great car, great review buddy enjoyed it. Love this car but you are 100% on it, the Turbo S is the one to buy (I'm dreaming :) )

Superb video again as ever Joe. Top tier production values and content. Please keep it up we need it at the min! 👌

Great presentation Joe, what a fantastic car! Worth the 145k if you have it.👍
How much hp and torque? Didn’t quite catch it

Love the Panamera. Try the GTS Joe, great performance and value from a “de-tuned” V8
The ultimate in my opinion
Hey Joe! Great video once again! I couldn't help but notice your phone holder and wondered what you are using? Thanks
One of my favourite cars… if I had 150kish this would be my choice of car over cars of similar price
It certainly looks and probably feels like it has more character than the RS4 / RS6 would you think?
Will this exhaust work if your panamera isn’t equipped with the factory sports exhaust?

I was wondering the same thing
Reminds me of my old 928 S4: 130 miles in 55 minutes.
my wife has this car. It is great for hauling the kids around, heading to Costco, and shredding Teslas.
In hybrid mode I can get 25 mpg.
My most favourite 4 door car
In e-mode, it sounded loud inside. Is that just me? Was there much road/wind noise in the cabin when driving in electric mode?
The manly taycan
What a car. Also what a price!
You can always tell a serious car by the size of the brakes.
My Dad has both a panamera turbo s and a Taycan turbo s (long story, he works very hard) and the discs are bigger than the tyres on my car lol

Saw a Blue 4s Sport Turismo in the flesh the other day , not as bulky as it looks in pictures

Great review Joe, but if you are going to make statements as to it’s acceleration times I think you should verify it with a timing device.

Yes sure is, local to both of us 👌

Does anyone know if you could fit 3 kids(9-12yrs, so no boosters needed) for a longer road trip in the back. Or is the 5th seat not good enough?
3 kids in the back is no problem
Will this set up be in the next Bentley as well...?

Those gear changes are very similar to bmw f10 m5 from the outside
