I definitely prefer the Sport Turismo to the first generation hatchback, but boy they really nailed the proportions of the hatchback with the second generation. I hope to pick up one used in the next couple of years, and I am genuinely torn between the wagon and the second generation hatchback. I will probably end up with the latter just because of the limited availability of the former.

Matt, I think the nurburgring time of the 991.1 gt3rs isn't set by Porsche, it's set by a journalist. If you look at .2 gt3rs (yes .2 is better but it's slight improvement) 991.2 gt3rs is a sub 7 min car. But great video thou. If we look at 991.1 3RS on Laguna Seca, it did 1:33 there ( 1 s faster than a 570s ).
I am driving around in the last 991.2 911 4S. Reminds me of that. Way more power than you can use. Just goes flat and fast wherever you point it. How does Porsche improve performance every new model better than the car it replaces?
I've had a Panamera S e Hybrid for more than 2 years, and I'm terribly jealous of the owners of the new Turbo S! The Pano is an epic road car in an age when most plebes buy SUV's because they think they 'need' the extra height, etc... truth is, for an enthusiast who wants a comfortable, luggage-hauling, great handling CAR, Porsche has just the ticket. The 2 door GTC4Lusso T costs almost $100K more, and I guess you could look at a BMW M8 but again you can't get the practicality of 4 doors either way.
When a car settles on both axles under braking it pitches (not squat.) Squatting is settling on the rear axle under acceleration. Thanks for a great test of a great car. Have not tried the S, must be awesome :)

So, this being a German spec car wondering if the suspension is not set up for US roads. You seemed to prefer this car in comfort mode or sport 1. The almost 5,000 lbs is very obvious in the drive by shots like a linebacker on steroids. Amazing Nordschleife numbers .

I think you got something wrong there. What you are talking about, is the '997' GT3 RS, not the last Gen. vehicle. Because the '991' GT3 RS version does it in ~7.10 min. Also the current Gen. '992' Carrera S does it in 7.25 min. not 7.30 min.. I think you mixed up the Genreations there big time...

Do you have the Track Edition with an LSD? If not look at an M2, that LSD makes a huge difference to the car (I went from 2014 M235i to 2016 M2 and it sounds like a similar car but no it's a completely different beast)
Yes please...I'm also in the camp that if Porsche made a compact sedan (or even a useful 4 seat coupe) on roughly the same price scale as the Macan, I'd be all over it.

Thankfully we don’t have VAT and the same level of duties here in the US. Between that and the pretty cheap fuel prices it’s a lot easier for us to drive high end and high powered cars.
It’s taken some years to finally get there, but it looks like we’ve finally got the ultimate Panamera. Why someone would take a Cayenne Turbo over one of these is beyond me. You can keep the Taycan too - this is just a better experience and better looking.
The Camaros zl1 proved this point awhile ago. Big power numbers and really wide tires matter more than weight saving, fancy suspension, fancy traction control etc. there’s a reason an 80k Camaros is faster than a Ferrari 488 on a racetrack: wider tires and more power. Midengine, front engine, everything else changes how a car feels but doesn’t necessarily improve its performance ceiling as far as lap times go
I thought Americans would have stopped talking like Brits in their car reviews back when the boys left Top Gear and or grew out of enjoying that style of entertainment. The issue keeps growing, everything has recently switched to "Zed, coupe', petrol, bonnet, etc." on these traditional American car review YT channels.

Eric Peachey air suspension. They all can go up or down, depending on your needs
Not sure if there is any space to lower it more, if You wanna daily it, but custom rims are always welcome.
