Dear Misha, I want to take the time to thank you for all your videos, includind the tutorials for first-timers. It is because of you that I finally found the courage to experience the Nurburgring. I've watched you drive a lot of different cars with so much skill and you make it seem so easy. I've learned and practiced your racing lines, corner approaches and braking points on the simulator. I drove 6250 km in total this summer just to experience 5 amazing laps on the most famous track in the world. And thanks to you, I got back-home safely with the car in one piece😊. Myself and my inner-child/wannabe racing driver thanks you so much. I wish you the best of luck and keep doing what you love the most.
@@mgcharoudin To be honest, from all the excitement, it didn't cross my mind then. I did look for you in the parking lot on the 26th of July but haven't seen you. I promise next time (because there will be a next time🙂) I will try to get in touch. Unfortunately my car is a fully stock (but full of fun🙂) 2011 Renault Megane 1.6l petrol, so you won't get much pleasure from driving it. For me it was my very first time on any track, ever. And the feeling was just... wow🙂. It will be my pleasure just if we can chat, in person, for a few minutes. The time was so short on my holiday this year (we are allowed max 10 days combined) and the wheather unfortunately was not so good. But maybe next year I will try to make it a little bit longer.

Beautiful engineering from Porche, so surprising how well this car handled braked and also accelerated for 680HP at 2.5 tonns, and you can just putt around in electric mode too. Also i like the longer outtakes when you review how the car preformed, please do more these long summaries
the front brakes are 10 piston calipers i believe, same as the taycan. its insane they are able to get such a behemoth of a car to stop and handle so well.
Great vid!: I have a Turbo Sport Turismo ( non Hybrid) which I ran at Spa and the Nordschleife. It was amazing for a big car, (maybe a bit hard on the brakes at Spa. ) . Very different from my RS but much better than I expected for such a big car.
Thank you Mishaaaaaaaa :D I was a passenger in one of those Panamera E-hybrid things. Quite a fast car on public streets, felt as quick as motorcycles I've ridden :)
Podcast really touched me. You are wonderful person. I wish to shake your hand one day! I have been dreaming about coming to NR and meeting you since beginning of 2022. Hope one day my dream comes true!
Hey Misha! Why don't u let off tire pressure before the round, because you probably know that they will hit higher pressures during the round? Is there a specific reason or is it just not possible to start with such low pressures? Wouldnt it be better to hit "optimal" tire pressure during the round?
I love the Panamera!! Genuinely thrilled to see this video - your observations about rotating the car were spot-on. It's a glorious machine, not a track car but a very capable 'estate car' 👍👍👍
for me these kind of heavy ass cars with that kind of power are the hardest ones to drive. if you overdrive it, you'll pbably end up in the barrier and even if you are able to save it, now you are incredibly slow on the corners, and if you underdrive it, you are again very slow on the corners. you have to find the optimal balance between trail braking, lift off and steering input to keep the car in balance so that you can use all of that power through corners and exits. great drive!
Porsche makes everything better :-) Add some well rested Misha and stir for excitement, Not a Hybrid fan but the Panamera tells me there is hope! Those back seat knuckles though :-D
Now I'm even happier you have such good things to say about the brakes. Doing a panamera brake and bmw mk60 abs conversions. You can get endless mx72 pads for those calipers!
Thoroughly enjoyed the podcast with Road to Succes/Ben Fowler, thanks for being you.... now to watch this video! Thanks Misha! Edit: just watched the lap the following morning, what a car... very nice and quick. But i do believe Porsche was right with the decision of not permitting the press out on track with their presscars... IF doing multiple laps without your feeling and knowledge, i bet there'd be a couple of writeoffs in the press quadrant and the press would be blaming porsche for it. Even a tank would lose a sprocket at one point when going balls to the wall through Foxhole ;) (but dont test that, unless it needs resurfacing #becausetrax)
Pretty impressive for such a heavy car.. We had the first panamera that came out. That thing was fun in the first 2 gears, after that my alfa romeo mito feels even faster😂. Wederom een mooie video!

7:32 you know a car it is not very grippy when you have to go very near the left curb . and at 7:48 it goes down to 159. (The average decent grip car for this track goes through there at 170 using all the track width)
Yeah, Please Save Me is one of the best stability systems available. It's very tolerant unlike some of the systems I've seen (or smelled -- a 350Z was cooking its brakes on track even though the driver wasn't doing anything wrong). You can even modify the car a bit and PSM will still let you play without losing your safety net.
Tyre pressure 2.4 front and 2.8~back is like the basic setting, i think for the track you need to change it in the settings to comfort and then lower the tyre pressure much lower, porsche thing😃
Don't forget - that's a hugely heavy car with 2 additional passengers. There's a limit to how low you can go when you're starting. I've run my Panamera Turbo S Sport Turismo (ICE - not hybrid) in AX. Only one person - slower speeds - and still heated up the tires significantly. They would soar on a fast track.
Hi and excellent video as usual ! I also have a Panamera and never ever tried to push it this hard (by lack of skills obviously 😅). Did this turbo s have the PCCB ? My steel brakes performed not too bad but clearly not as good as what I saw

This is just THE car. You can lap it, it has plenty of storage, great look, possibility of E-Drive etc.

Is there a specific reason or is it just not possible to start with such low pressures? Wouldnt it be better to hit "optimal" tire pressure during the round?
TOO LOW can make your rim cut the tyre. Then the pressures rise and explode on the cut. The only right way is to heat them up, drop, and go.
@@mgcharoudin If only manufacturers could come with a system where you could vent out extra pressure while driving, would be so awesome.
@@sermerlin1the issue probably is if the valve fails and the tyre loses pressure
