Casey talking to the car is absolutely tremendous. Can’t stop smiling
:)
This was a fantastic drive and I was honored to get the chance! What was your favorite part of the drive?
The beginning middle and the end were my favorite 😂
I like when car go BRRRRRRRRRRR!!
Was she trying to step out on ya?
Watching you sweat when the back end got squirrely braking into corners. :) :)
That part where you hammered the throttle of a Mustang without plowing into a curb or crowd.
My dad owns a ‘66 Shelby, I really need to get him to get it out again before he sells it eventually.
Looking over the hood scoop and that 289 revving to redline will always bring back the memories of my dad ripping through the gears.
Thank you for this vid!
When I was a kid, I bought every model, Hot Wheels, Matchbox, remote control and poster I could find of the GT 350. It was my favorite car.
And you're absolutely correct. Equestrian broads are NUTZ.
Spent some time in Wellington, Florida.
:)
This is as Shelby built and intended it. Such a perfect example of Shelby in the mid 60’s. Lucky you got hooked up Casey, some fruits for your years of labors and being a great ambassador of motor sports. Happy to view this awesome videos. Thanks brother!
Thanks! Glad you liked it
What a crazy doble clutch!
Always fun to to watch Casey enjoy driving classic cars, really knows how to talk dirty haha.
Good S#!t mate, that looked like it was a riot, once again I'm jealous as hell. Good on you Casey, another top video. That 360 camera is sweet mate. Cheers
Thanks and cheers sir!
Reminds me of one Don Buck had. He ran it in the CVAR club when I was a kid. Always gave some of the most thrilling ride alongs of any of the cars I had the chance to go out in.
Great video Casey. Love your commentary and the sounds from track. Love the content, blessings to you and yours, hello from Oregon!
You talk to the car like I talk to traffic, only far less disparagingly. 😆
Hold on sweetie! That's a little muuuch! 😅😂😂🤘
How this is a car enthusiast, talks to the car, takes it easy on the first lap and then start finding where the car likes to play. Great video, great driving !
Casey when presented with this Mustang: "I'ma eat in, I'ma sleep in it, and I'ma make sweet looove to it!"
Owner: "Don't you mean make love IN IT?"
Casey: "No, I'ma f*** it!"
HAHHAAHAHAHHA!!!
Yesssssss Casey I enjoyed this. THANK YOU SO MUCH 😀
Thats a beautiful car and beautiful driving Casey!
Fells like you've had that kind of conversation a few too many times in the past to know how to sweet talk that incredible pony car 😆
;)
the hot ones are always crazy
Sweet! I cannot wait to get my 65 GT350
Tribute back! It is a street car, but does have good track parts in it. Great video. Thank you for sharing!
I like this new Christopher Titus as much as the old one. Just as funny.
I liked Titus too! First time I've been compared though. :)
WEEEEEEE DUNEBUGGIES!!!!!
God I love watching your videos but this is beyond amazing ❤❤
Awesome! Happy you enjoyed it!
I like the vintage racing outfit to go with the car, makes me feel like I'm watching an old race in HD.
Proper racing that is !!!
Just fantastic Casey.
In 1978 I purchased a Ford Falcon XA-GT 4 door in Red Pepper with black trim. The engine was 351 Boss, Hurst shifter on a Top Loader, 9inch locker and it did 112mph in 1st gear. I always believed it was a NASCAR base, but the drive train may very well have come out of one of these. It sounded like this 'stang.
Nice !! About as close as ill get.
I like your gloves.
Vintage Shelby Racecar stirs lust in my heart.
love these cars, only mustang worth having
Such a cool car!
It is fun seeing Casey in a car Candy Store.
🤔 I drove my father in laws '70 Boss 302 around that when they needed the track cured when first built.
Yeah, that'd be one of my dream track cars. :)
Wasn't this car recently auctioned at Barrett Jackson Houston?
If it doesn’t want to go in gear it might be having issues with getting stuck in reverse. Happens frequently with my dads 69 Mercury Cougar with a 4-speed top loader.
I believe this mustang has the same trans.
Casey , you are one crazy f---k , love Mark Battista
Too damn fun. I lived on a horse farm. 🐎 girls are awesome in so many ways.
I honestly would love to see this flat out compared to how a modern GT350R would do on a race course.
I was the 289th Like. Seems apropos.
Yeaaasss finally
Riding over the crest on that first lap @ 3:50 “Ohh ho ho! I could get used to this…”
This guy’s funny! 😆🤣😂
Glad you enjoyed it!
I’ve got a 65 in the garage and I could never heel toe it. Now I think I need to google Shelby gas pedal bc that throttle looked like a brake pedal
The commentary is something else. Do you always talk like this when you drive lmao.
The brakes are like that on these cars. The pads need to get warmed up but you really have to stand hard on that pedal. If the car has a Detroit locker it is pretty much a direct drive and when you let off of the gas it will want the rear end to go to the right. It is a totally different drive than anything on the road today.
#15!! 👍🏻💪🏻
That Mustang's such a Sassy Sally, huh?
That high reving HIPO 289 K code V8🤟🏼
@Casey Putsch Would love to see you keeping yourself safe by getting a HANS device.
I have one. I was having 60s fun that day. Still safer than horse girls!
I love this better than the Ferrari. I would have loved watching you tear up the track in the C4. Wish I could have seen it run before it was sold.
Casey is calling it a 350 but it's not a 350 the 350 was the shelby GT350 road going version.
This is clearly not a GT350 street legal road version. This is GT350 R race version.
Now that...is a Mustang.
So Casey which one are you ? James Hunt or Niki Lauda .
A little of both. I think Hunt would be more proud though….
Ok, Casey, time for "would you rather"... would you rather have this Shelby, or a built '68 Stingray with the same class of modifications?
Money being equal, the Vette
@@CaseyPutsch Yeah, I'm the same way. There's something about the lines on those generations of stingrays that just sing to me. Maybe one day I'll be able to build one, and get some crazy dude from ohio to come out and thrash it about SEARS Point Raceway. Now that would be cool! YEEEEEES!
@@irdmoose not just the lines, but the way the transaxle makes it balance
The commentary.
Steering wheel all crockket
@14:12 🤣😂🤣
Gorgeous car, your a lucky man to drive it!
Is the steering wheel bent on the hub? -check the video, it’s clearly warped or something. And yes girls with horses are clearly insane. A *historical Ex and dear friend now was a horse girl! ..totally nuts..
Riiight??
@@CaseyPutsch totally 100%
What was better, driving this, or riding in the GTO?
Riding in the GTO. The Mustang was all over the place.
@@CaseyPutsch
What about more fun?
GTO. Sorry man. It’s a freaking masterpiece
@@CaseyPutsch
Wow. I can't imagine how great that thing is.
@@rhatala27 as “iconic” as mustangs are, underneath they aren’t that good of a car 😧
I left the audience for a few months and now casey's sold out!
Its become the theatre.
Showing off in his bizarro world.
Casey, you drive in the middle of the complex circle race track.
You Don't cut corners.
You Can't Change the designers obstacles.
You flow through the track designer's obstacles.
If you resist by cutting corners, You'll crash.
You perform the tasks to get around the circle.
You Don't call the brakes wobbly.
You Don't call the car stupid names.
You Don't say the brakes are too this or that.
You're being antituning.
Mustang cars are mid tuned cars.
They start acceleration in the middle of the corner.
You're supposed to still be braking going into the corner.
That forward braking bias helps lift the rear and assist turning the car.
Power steering before there was powered steering.
The front mounted engine car needs to nose dive to lift the weight off the rear to turn the car.
Throwing the rear is trademark GM.
Look at holden torana at sandown race track 1978.
Well.... That watch came out in 1969.... So this lets you know it is not 1966 hahaha
That rubber co makes toilet plungers
I did date a horse 🐴 girl in college and that’s about right 😆. They love it when you ask if you can ride their horse as well 😬
as much as id love a cobra, this car would be much tamer as a daily driver..then again maybe not..
Also: car guys are just the horse girls of guys.
you have so much to learn about driving little boy...too exited i know its for the show but....be concentrate and stop talking....we whant to hear the beast
If you knew enough about driving to say that to me, you wouldn’t care enough to say that crap
