Wrong. Read my comments. He's too scared to push the acceleration and won't let the engine do its job of slowing the car down. He should be driving a Porsche instead, which is built for his driving style.

Bro you took the words out my mouth, i know the feeling, too much excitement, got to have another car nut next to you with this kinda thing or you will just feel like you going crazy all by yourself
I never heard of double downshifting. I think what your referring to is the heel and toe method of downshifting where the driver still uses the left foot for the clutch but works the brake pedal with the toe of the right foot while bliping the throttle with the heal of the right foot to make the RPM's match up to prevent unnecessary clutch & pressure plate wear and tear. This also prevents the rear tires from losing traction and making the rear end of the car unstable. New super cars that still have manual transmissions use computers that can auto blip the throttle for you, but most now have fully automatic transmissions or paddle shifted semi-automatic transmissions. Double clutching is only used for non-synchronized transmissions, like in really old trucks and cars. This means letting the clutch out between shifts (in neutral) then shifting to the next gear, and letting the clutch out again to continue. This is an extremely slow process and not practical for a racing car!!!!
Mate what a great race. It was good the see the cobra improve his line through the corners a couple of laps in. Your car and driving very impressive. It was good to see the little guy come back into the picture as I was wondering where he was. Thanks for the video, loved every second of it.

Wrong! He's gutless on the acceleration and won't let the engine do its job of breaking. He doesn't straighten out the corners so he can jump on the accelerator, which is what his MACHINE IS DESIGNED TO DO. His driving style is suited to European car models NOT big engine fast revving USA model cars. When he tried to pass the car, he began to use the car how it was designed to be used. Early acceleration and BIG acceleration and early breaking and big engine breaking before entering corners.
