Fun Fact: After the first few years of the Original Xbox's release (before 360), that console became very popular due to the modding that was happening on the console. Its security was busted wide open not too long after its intital release, and a few years later it became one of the very first all-in-one consoles with players not only expanding game playability through emulators, but also developing programs such as XBMC and other media players to play videos, music and movies (the latter to avoid paying extra for the DVD dongle). Unfortunately, these things (minus emulators which came later also through modding) were available out-of-the-box with a PlayStation 2, which is the reason it sold so many units.
I just relived my childhood through this video. Thank you for this trip down memory lane. Its crazy to see how far Xbox, and technology, has come the past 23 years

One thing that wasn’t mentioned in the video that most people didn’t know about the 360. Some 360’s originally was released with a competition to BluRay called HD DvD Player and came with its own Xbox themed universal type remote

I remember the Xbox being my first modern console. Wanted it for my Bday/Christmas gift. Naturally my mom talked to her friends who said their kids said Xbox would flop. Boy were they wrong.
My only criticism with this remaster of this video is that your voice sounds less enthusiastic and there are very weird audio balancing issues occasionally, which made it feel tedious to watch compared to the last, but I like the new additions, so good work nonetheless.
I think the point of remastering the videos is to have them be more organized in general, but I definitely see what you mean, although the slight lack of enthusiam doesn't irk me as the video itself is still very entertaining.

Great video! Luckily I don’t need to wait in excitement for the next generation since I’m still loving my Series X. This is the first time I’ve had a console when it was still new and fast. Really is great.

Back in 2009, my dad's friend's family had an Xbox 360 that I saw for the first time and they introduced me to the Halo series. I thought it was a cool console and I thought it was the first Xbox console ever because I hadn't heard of the OG Xbox until only 4 years ago. Then in October of 2014, my new neighbors introduced me to the Forza Horizon series and the Xbox One. I was immediately hooked! I asked my mom if I could have an Xbox One. She said that I could have one if I paid for half of the price, and I agreed. Within 3 months, I saved up enough money to pay for half the Xbox One's price. Then on Christmas, I got my Xbox One. I have a lot of good memories with the console. I still have it and use it a lot to this day. I recently got myself a couple of OG Xbox consoles. I'm going to fix them up and keep them. I plan to buy myself a Series X soon. Xbox player for life!

The first one can play split-screen campaign co-op and 4 player multiplayer all on its own for Halo 1 and 2. The Series X cannot split its screen for Halo. But in reality, 343 is just incompetent.
The 360 wasn't overheating, the change to lead free solder was less resistant to heat and was causing it to melt and then a certain chip would lose connection to the Board and Bingo RRoD.
As a user of Xbox series s I highly recommend you to buy one of these - has great performance runs GTA 5 with no issues, only problem for me is memory and I bought 1tb samsung T7 SSD drive to get more memory, buy one of these too
Fun Fact: The X-Box One actually sold 60m consoles instead of 47m consoles. The PS4 sold double of the X-Box One with 120m units. Also Microsoft already officially bought Activison | Blizzard for $69B USD.
