I believed the second Beale said that to Rick, that he was lying, and likely told that lie to everyone he "promoted" to sway them into thinking they were saving humanity. Hope you guys are doing ok

Give them some credit at least man. They created one of the most iconic and longest lasting shows in TV history and even after some bad spells in the later seasons of the main show and some questionable spin-offs, they came back and absolutely knocked it out of the park with the ones who live. I personally think they’ve redeemed themselves

CRM snoozed on Eldon since they were so focused on collecting girl genius Hope. Tales seemed to suggest the trench bought humans more time but less space. When Rick snuck into Okafor's space, did anyone else find it curious that Okafor was growing corn or maize in his room? Corn has been used for genetic, longevity and disease studies so I was definately wondering what else Okafor may have been up to.

As far as the infected causing issues for the communities, Remember, Ezekiel was feeding the dead to the pigs he was giving Negans group. We never heard any follow up on whether this made them sick. Also, Garrett's group ate Bob's leg 🤢

well we already saw the walkers contaminating the water by dying inside a water source, that happend in the whisperer arc when the whisperers killed walkers inside a river/lake and caused an outbreak in alexandria

First of all, I'm glad you guys are okay. I live right outside the tornado zone myself. Secondly, maybe Okafor realized that by wiping out all the communities outside of their zones, they'd be wiping out potential farming communities that might extend the lifespan of humanity. The chlorine gas would kill off the soil, as well, I think. Beale just wanted power and never really considered the long term effects.
yeah i think there was a grain of truth amongst the echelon.. and he turned that into his own take over plan.
From Z-Day to the end of TOWL it has to be say 13-years and then we have TOTWD Ep4, which is supposidely set approx 22 years after TOWL, given that it's 35-years after Z-Day (mentioned by showrunner Channing Powell), it looks like that 14-year hype was ballshit. Since we didn't really see much of this future, which included an area called the Dead Sector, which was a massive chunk of land surrounded by a 40ft deep gorge, we haven't a clue what the world is actually like beyond what we saw through the eyes of Dr. Everett and Amy.
That one episode of tales of The Walking Dead was set 35 years into the apocalypse! The documentary one

Even if the number of years left is about 14 years... I think their best bet would be to take out all the walkers... because people are a resource. 🙂

Yeah I Could Go For That LOL Walking Dead Universe Till 2038
The Walking Dead really did turn into more of a drama show when it was originally meant to be a horror show. Lots of logic was thrown out the window when the show's directors changed, like the ninja walkers for example and in this case - no one being affected by blood splashing all over their eyes, mouths and other places. Season 1 was such an amazing direction for the show. It was taking into account all the smallest things and even when they had to cover themselves in guts, I remember Rick saying to avoid smearing blood around their eyes, noses and mouths. But a lot of that got thrown out the window as characters kissed each other, touched each other's faces and what not while having walker blood all over themselves. Sadly it's not one of those shows that pays attention to the tiny details, which can be annoying for someone who looks into detail and logical world building, but it's one of my favorite shows of all time and I am hoping the remaining spin-offs have decent quality and pay attention to the smaller things.
Honestly controversial opinion but obviously minus the death march, the Civic Republic and CRM were the last best hope for humanity. The last society with any preserved social order, technology, medicine, manufacturing ect ect. And that was only enabled by the secrecy they maintained. Don’t know why they didn’t just cut all communications with Omaha and Portland if they thought that they would die out by themselves anyways like Jadis said they calculated

The disease worry is plants and animals. Crop failures and animal diseases are a problem in the world now. Exponentially worse in an apocalypse. Pesticides and Vets with medicine are a finite resource.
The echelon briefing was the biggest nothing burger of this series. What a let down, we literally already knew everything it revealed. Also, as a person in a tornado alley as well, much love. We had 2bn in damage just a few years ago
Beal didn't give us that theory originally though we got it in world beyond with Elton and ho got the theory from his mom except he said 15 years but the timeline matching up with beales is funny if Beale got the theory from Elton's notebook
Elton mentions it's his moms theory when he is talking to Percy while he's unconscious after being shot
I'm not finished season two again yet but they are working on getting the science team out and to Portland pretty sure they can formulate medicines
CRM is done, you fans keep talking about the crumbs that Gimple leaves on the shows, things that make no sense at all, stop talking stupid things
CRM story might be done but they only killed the elite soldiers they still have a large military
