Thank you. It is now a year later, how did the squash hold up in the freezer? When cooking it, did you thaw it first? I tried blanching the squash before freezing last year and I was less than impressed with the thawed product. If this worked well for you, I will def do this. I am harvesting yellow squash now.
Thank you for asking they held up very well. I have a video up where I made a squash dressing using some from last year storing. My husband like them fried when they are fresh from the garden or market. When I store in the freezer, I make Casseroles and etc. 😊
@harlie1642 That is a very interesting question, I never tried that. But I am absolutely certain you can if you are going to fry or bake them but not for stewing. Thank you for asking 😊
