I had saved in freezer, a small amount of leftover sun dried tomatoes from a long ago recipe. I was so glad! I often save portions of this and that. Thks for your recipe! I will make tomorrow! Grateful! Ahna. USA
You have presented one of the best demonstrations of a recipe! I can follow easily; you explained the 'whys'. And I am sitting here with 3 yellow squash from '1895 Certified Organic' farmer produce. We are South Jersey, high tomato season so I will roast some cherry tomatoes for the recipe. Obscene for a local to use anything other than those amazing Jersey fresh tomatoes at this time of peak season. Thank you for your easy to follow recipe!
Perfect timing for this great looking summer dish. Those golden yellow squash look delicious! Thanks for the tip on cutting the squash into 3 sections first. It is much more manageable. You have added a lot of flavor with the thyme, garlic and fresh basil. I bet you have a fresh basil plant in your kitchen. I will add a smidge of crushed red pepper flakes when I make this dish. I know your dish tastes as good as it looks!
Just made this YUM I did add extra sun-dried tomatoes and at the end added black beans to warm them Thank you so much for a new recipe Can we say.....it's Time to share the yellow squash and zucchini lol
I made this last night, following the recipe exactly. The only thing I did at the end was sprinkle with some freshly shredded parmigiano reggiano. This was one of the best recipes I've ever had for squash! It is a keeper, for sure! WHERE did you get that awesome fresh thyme? Mine is always so thin and fragile that I have difficulty stripping the leaves from the stem without the stem breaking!!
Thanks! Here in the Mid Atlantic we have a really nice grocery store called Wegmans that sells it…and yes it blows away what you find at tue other stores!
Yellow summer squash is one of my favorite vegetables. Preparing it with sun-dried tomatoes, basil & red pepper flakes takes it to a high level of enjoyment. I especially love it with a grilled ham steak but it goes with a wide variety of entrees.
I come back to this recipe every year when my summer squash ripens, my wife loves it! Thanks!
Made this for dinner paired with filet mignon. Delicious! Don’t forget the lemon juice. Really adds a brightness. Yum!
Thanks! This is a great pair with filet mignon!
Turned this into a main dish by serving it over some pasta. Yummy! Hubby loved it too!
I made this tonight with some yellow squash and leftover eggplant and it was delicious! I’m excited to try some of your other recipes.
Tried this recipe tonight, and it was outstanding. Really appreciate the tips and guidance for us who are non-foodies! Thanks very much.
Thanks! You don’t have to be a foodie to make this recipe!
I didn’t have the sun dried tomato I made it without it and omg . It’s so delicious. Thank you
Oh yes it still works well without the sun dried tomatoes!

You're most welcome!
Yum!
Wny do you cut so much of the end of the squash? What has the last inch of the squash done to you?
Yellow summer squash is one of my favorite vegetables. Preparing it with sun-dried tomatoes, basil & red pepper flakes takes it to a high level of enjoyment. I especially love it with a grilled ham steak but it goes with a wide variety of entrees.
Funny you mention red pepper flakes...I meant to use them in this recipe but forgot. The squash still had a ton of flavor though.
If you had added them in this recipe, when would you have done that? And how much would you have used?
What knife is that? Looking at finally getting so decent blades.
Miyabi Hibana. It is my first high end knife and I am pleased with it.
I just made this, I didn't like it, but I didn't add the sun dried tomatoes and basil maybe that was why or because I added too much lemon lol.
Yes when you leave multiple key Ingredients out of a recipe it might undermine the results!
I love your channel ! Always yummy and simple recipes ✨
Thanks! That is exactly the theme I am trying to achieve on the channel!
"high quality produce" .... what if i grow my own? oh snap! elegant that!
Home grown is the highest level of quality when it comes to produce!
Some of those never flipped!
Looks like this dude went to flavor town
Haha thanks! Yes you would be surprised how easy it is to make your side dishes the star of the meal!

Maybe one day I reveal my face!

I don’t like the sound you make when you cutting
Lol well that is a new one, sorry to disappoint though!
