I saw only 2 episodes at my aunts house,and loved it.

Despite Joshua being short tempered, irrational and controlling I have to admire Naomi for giving Barnabas the deed to the old house. She has a more clear mind than Joshua.

Joshua is emotionally stunted and too authoritative. He grows in the course of the storyline . He also gave Abigail too much freedom to pursue her fanaticism
