NEW DS Back in Time to 1795 - The Wedding of Angelique and Barnabas
Вставка
- Опубліковано 28 чер 2024
- Angelique begs Barnabas to go somewhere else after Jeremiah appears to her in the Old House. Jeremiah is out of Angelique's control and takes Angelique to his open grave. Ben rescues Angelique. Barnabas and Angelique are married.
Angelique's character provides insight. When you go through being evil towards people, you gotta be careful if they're going to come back seeking revenge on you.
Unfortunately she has no conscious.
Best wedding I have ever seen! Great Actress and Actors!DS Fan!❤
That is so comical when Ben starts cracking up at Angelique and then she gets mad
I enjoyed that too 😂😂
Angeliqur :
" There is An evil presence here ..."
Yes : YOU ANGELIQUE !!!!
Angelique tells Barnabas theres an evil force in the house but her powers aren't great enough to keep Jeremiah from continuing to haunt her. No matter where she goes, cant out run a ghost.
Never summon what u can't banish, poor Naomi she is indulging a snake.
White wedding gowns were NOT a thing before Queen Victoria.
Many cultures consider white for the dead not wedding
Angelique set the fashion, I guess.

White dresses were sometimes worn for weddings before Queen Victoria, but became much more popular after Queen Victoria wore a white lace dress at her 1840 wedding to Prince Albert.
The practice of brides wearing white dresses likely traces back more than 2,000 years, with roots in the Roman Republic (509 B.C. - 27 B.C.) when brides wore a white tunic. The color white represented purity, symbolizing both a woman’s chastity and her transition to a married Roman matron. It was also associated with Vesta, the virgin goddess of hearth, home and family who was served by temple priestesses garbed in distinctive white clothing.
After the fall of the Roman Empire, white marriage attire fell out of fashion. From the Middle Ages to the mid-19th century, most brides simply wore their best dress or purchased a new gown that could be worn again.
The white wedding dress, however, gained some renewed popularity among the aristocracy after Anne of Brittany wore a white gown during her 1499 marriage to Louis XII of France. The term "white wedding" originated from this wedding.
The white wedding dress gained much more widespread popularity after Queen Victoria wore a white wedding dress in 1840 because of coverage of her wedding by newspapers and magazines around the world. The style and color of her gown was copied across continents as women aspired to look like the young, attractive queen. Wearing a white wedding dress became a sign of wealth and status rather than virginity. Only wealthy brides could wear a white silk gown, since they were wed in clean, elegant places that were removed from the muck and grime of life during the mid-19th century Industrial Age.
These gowns were actually cream or ivory, which was more flattering to the complexion. The brilliant white wedding dress would not become popular in Europe and North America until the 1930s, and would not truly become rooted in the public consciousness until World War II.
Although the first records of brides garbed in white reach far back into the annals of history, it only became standard fashion over about the last 85 years.
Angel
Jeeze, wedding from Hell ...
And I'm guessing the full version was even crazier.
I would love to see the full version!
@melissajenniferjones9959 Tubi or Prime, if you can stand adds. 😂
@@melodiefrances3898 thank you 😁
The 2nd and last time Angelique's maiden name, Bouchard, is mentioned. The first time was when she introduced herself to Victoria.
For a reason or another , Barnabas is allways abandoned in his wedding ...
Fix the vail! Too late, he's already seen the bride!!!😅
Yes Angelique, hold the clean dress up against the dirty dress. ....
It brings me such satisfaction when the evil characters get their comeuppance.
But if she learned her lesson we would not have had the Dark Shadows we know and love!
@@amyepstein4868 Oh I know, I just meant that they have moments/episodes of fear and uncertainty but nothing that would change them from being who and what they are meant to be.
@charleslaughton8092 I know that you know...as a Dark Shadows fan.
And yes. The comeuppance is temporary but it really moves the story and characters into place..
Ben had my exact response to Angelique laying in the grave😂😂😂. I do feel sorry for the Reverend he has know idea what's going on.😢
That was cruel of ben to laugh at angelique while she was in hysteria.
@@richardmadison6312 I disagree 😂
@@joanngreen9714 Angelique is really a sweet and kindhearted girl, who is greatly misunderstood.
@@joanngreen9714So do I. I love it when Ben laughs at Angeliques misfortunes and setbacks. The only other roles where he has that convincing laugh is Sandor and Timothy Stokes 1970 P.T.
@@richardmadison6312 She reaps what she sews. She's lucky Ben came along when he did.
And considering how cruel she's been to him, he has every right to laugh at her misfortune.
And as we have seen, she learned absolutely nothing from it. Less than 24 hours later, she's back to scheming against someone else, this time Vicki.
