- While talking with Barnabas and Angelique, Sarah sneaks away from Joshua and Abigail and finds Vicki. Sarah shows Vicki a secret room. Vicki hides there is is not found during their search. Abigail demands that Reverend Trask be called again to perform and exorcism on the Old House.
Jonathan Frid shakespeare background makes his speech very good to the ear
In 1967 Sarah moved disappeared quick as a ghost. As a mortal in 1795 she can move quicker. Clarice Blackburn is at her meanest as In this storyline as Abigail Collins.

Reverend Trask is using his divining rod to flush Victoria out of hiding. Our good Reverend is too hot and dry. If you point downward long enough you'll get a good gusher of water.

Perfect music edit between the end of Ep 399 and the beginning of 400! Robert Cobert originally wrote that cue as a part of his Seance sequence but once Angelique appeared on the scene, it became the theme for her magic.
Speaking of Mitchell Ryan: I saw a clip on another UA-cam page from a show called NYPD Blue. First season. He played a bad cop Jack Hanlon. His hair was gray and he weighed a bit more but his mannerisms were recognizable. It reminded me of the early, angry Burke Devlin.
That was around the same time that he played one of the dads on Dharma & Greg, can't remember which character was his offspring tho. Mitchell really rebounded from his alcoholism and ended up having a long career. It's bittersweet that the last thing he did was the version of A Christmas Carol with his fellow DS castmates. Probably also the last thing Lara Parker did. Thank God that was produced, it's now a Holiday Classic!

Me also Cathy, Vicki has gone thru enough already, time for Angelique to answer for all the evil she has done.
However, Angelique helped keep the audiences coming for the next 4 years.
Wonderful father Joshua is....NOT (at least by this point).
After disowning Barnabas, Joshua refuses his request (and Sarah's) to allow Sarah to be able to visit her brother, AFTER nagging him into letting Abigail have her own way and let Trask exorcise the Old House. Joshua had the gall to ask the son he disowned into doing him a favor and then as gratitude he pretty much spits in his face. If I had been Barnabas I would have said "All right, if you're going to be like that, I withdraw MY permission to let the so-called Reverend do his exorcism on MY house."
Speaking of bullies, Abigail was absolutely horrible in the way she tried to intimidate Sarah in ratting out Vicki's whereabouts. With an aunt like her, and a father like Joshua, no wonder Sarah prefers the company of her big brother Barnabas.
I still think Barnabas should have gotten Vicki out of Collinsport after he and Nathan untied her from the tree. It was a big mistake hiding her in the Old House, especially once he and Angelique were married.
Trask, you wouldn't know a witch if one came up and turned you into a cat (like Joshua).
Trask is a drama queen!
Jerry Lacy does a very good job of making me hate his character 😂
In this storyline, definitely. Even more so as Gregory Trask in 1897.
I like him better as tony Peterson, he's very good playing in that role.
@@Richard-yg3hoI've watched Jerry Lacy on the Dark Shadows special features interviews and he wasn't too kean on playing Tony Peterson. He specifically requested his roles to be Reverend Trask.

I don't think that would bother Naomi one bit. At least she would have some peace and solitude from Joshuas constant bossing her around and all his do's and don'ts.

Witches are crafty, they concilie there identity very well.
Trask is almost as evil as Angelique. His method of "exorcism" is ridiculous. None of what he does is anywhere near Scripture. The Exorcist movie and book were equally ignorant.
I love the fact that your video releases tell the story in sequential order but I encourage you to put some kind of sequence number at the beginning of the description instead of "NEW" - they all say that. The only date that UA-cam shows when suggesting a bideo is "1 Month Ago" so in a month these will all show the same thing. Can this series have a unique playlist before you move on to another time period?
