There needs to be an episode or series on straps… what’s the best strap monster watch? What makes a quality leather strap? The history of the NATO, materials & patterns… lots of content material there
To be fair the Royal Oak Jumbo Titanium showed in the vidéo (Ref: 15202IP.OO.1240IP.01) is not a $300.000 watch. It is a $35.000 watch. It may be worth $300.000 on the secondary market but for comparison purposes with another watch (movement, build quality, materials used...) once should retain the retail price as it makes it should like AP are ripping off their customers (which they do but that is beyond the point....).

I have a 20$ watch that also tells the time.
PRX is really a $1000 watch, priced at $600-ish.
The APRO is more like a 10K watch, priced at 20K and hyped to 50K.
The PRX shown is $375
@@unarmedduck 375 is the quartz
I've yet to see a 10K watch come close to the level of finishing of a Royal Oak.
Zenith Skyline for example is a 10k watch that can be compared with RO. And no, it doesn’t provide the same quality as RO. The retail price of the RO is fair for what it offers in a horology universe
@@oleg274 yes that’s a beautiful watch, and very well finished, but as you said doesn’t even come close to the AP finishing. I agree with you, for the quality it offers it’s fairly priced.
Can we stop comparing the PRX to the Royal Oak? Not every still integrated sport watch is a RO. Doesn't the PRX have a closer resemblance to the oysterquartz?
Now, with 35mm Powermatic 80 version with white "Mother of Pearl" dial I no longer have an itching for 37mm AP Royal Oak.
Please do review of this particular version, since dial is the most interesting.
The only problem with the Tissot PRX is PRX. They could have come up with a much classier name than this. I tried on the PRX and really liked it and may buy one. In fact, Tissot's latest offerings present a lot of value in my opinion.
It's a reissue from the late 70s. Gonna need a time machine to fix that one lol.
Great video (as always)
Is there ANY possibility you can do a video on the PATEK PHILLIPE Gondolo ref 3842r
I have one and I have never seen any information on the watch online. It’s a beautiful watch from PATEK and for many is a financially “possible” buy into that brand.
Thanks in advance.
The underside of the minute hand on the AP looks a bit rough.
They just have to make a 37 or 38mm version and that will kill all the competition completely. Talking about under $1000 or even a bit higher
8:50 compare AP's finishing and decoration to a SEA-GULL 1963 chrono.
Does the AP need its date adjusted at the end of short months with 28, 29 or 30 days?
Yes
My OCD is going crazy because the second hand on that Tissot doesn’t line up with the second marks on the dial. Aggghhh
There needs to be an episode or series on straps… what’s the best strap monster watch? What makes a quality leather strap? The history of the NATO, materials & patterns… lots of content material there
I just bought the PRX powermatic 80, green dial dot in Ketchikan Ak for $590 love mine wears great
it would have madfe more sense comparing the prx automatic vs AP ?
That watch is giving the reason why I am subscribed to your channel NEW MEANING!!!
Viewing watches I have no interest in ever getting
To be fair the Royal Oak Jumbo Titanium showed in the vidéo (Ref: 15202IP.OO.1240IP.01) is not a $300.000 watch. It is a $35.000 watch. It may be worth $300.000 on the secondary market but for comparison purposes with another watch (movement, build quality, materials used...) once should retain the retail price as it makes it should like AP are ripping off their customers (which they do but that is beyond the point....).
Whats the name of the music?
I love the Royal Oak but would never pay 300k for one. The same goes for the over priced Rolex Daytona. The PRX 80 may not have the fancy handwork or platinum but it out preforms the AP hands down and thus the better watch.
Need the automatic PRX!
