Hey Everyone, thanks for watching. Which of the watches mentioned was your favorite? Also, quick typo correction, the Lorier has a plexiglass NOT a sapphire crystal. This is commonly used in their watches across the board for more vintage appeal.

What I love about PRX, it looks so much like Rolex Oysterquartz Datejust 17000 ( a goal watch of mine)...so i can get something similar for much cheaper. Also I believe the Datejust was designed by Genta!

The Zelos Nova Aventurine is a nice micro brand watch I had no idea about and really want to see if I can get my hands on one to add to my collection. I just picked up a Tudor Heritage 1926 M91550-0005 and would love to see you do a review on it . Thanks Teddy for all the knowledge on this channel, as I could not have started building a collection without it.

Great video. I would add the Glycine Combat Sub. It represents quite the value at the current street price. I recently purchased the GL0092 version for $315. Last week, I visited a watch repair shop to get a battery for one of my quartz divers. I was wearing the Glycine and the proprietor of the shop congratulated me on my "nice Tudor Heritage Black Bay". The appearance of the two time pieces are quite similar. I've been impressed with everything about the Combat Sub, especially the case thinness and the finishes. It looks and feels more expensive than it is.

got my 39mm with the white dial on the 3-link "Bader" bracelet watch on MaMaCoo 3 weeks ago and am loving it to pieces. Absolute fantastic watch that wears super comfortable on my 6.75 inch wrist. Chose the 3-link over the 5-link bracelet for the toolless quick adjustment. Way more comfortable than my Longines Hydroconquest 41 mm.

The Grand Seiko Snowflake is my favorite, I have two Seiko watches in my wardrobe of watches and I love both of them. My local, small town (I am just north of Nashville, Tennessee) jeweler is always is happy to see me when I come in to his shop. I never spend more than I can afford to pay in cash, and I always use a charge card for points. Part of the fun is saving up cash for my new purchase, the feeling of anticipation is magical, it's like a good meal.

The Omega 300m (in blue) is great. I think its a wonderful complimentary piece to a collection, and you still have the room to get/have a Sub or GMT Master II in your collection. The BB58, just isn’t as nice as the Omega 300m. Also, the JLC is amazing, but the Reverso takes too much of the conversation for that brand. They make some fantastic watches that aren’t Reversos.

Id have to add the Cartier Tank Must to the list of watches that look more expensive than they are. Similar to JLC's Reverso, and maybe even more so, the Tank Must in stainless at about 4500 US projects timeless class from a Marque which is known for some very high end watches. My XL works nicely on my 7.5 inch wrist, and while not being as "gimmicky" as a Reverso, shows a high degree of style, finish and substance which is right at home with it's more expensive siblings!

    Hey Teddy,
On the truly affordable with looks that definitely belies the low cost we have the Dan Henry watches. He builds watches based on the design ecstatic of the year or era he’s going for. They’re primarily chronographs and you can see the influence of the more expensive watches that make up the design inspiration without being straight up knockoffs. Oh and they’re size appropriate for the era. Looking at you list I’d say look at the 1972, the 1963, and1964. The others are very nice as well if you’re into the military esoteric (which I love).
I own a 3 sub dial “evil panda” and it first perfectly on my wrist. The military watches a bit too big for me but the rye quite nice. The 1937 is a “dress chrono” and has an Art Deco inspired look. It’s not for everyone but if that’s the style you like it’s a good choice.
They range in price from $200 - $350 with most at $270. About half of them use a Miyota movement but the others use a Seiko Mecha Quartz movement. That’s what’s in the 1964 and it’s a great choice for non-automatic watches. Oh, yes all current designs have a quartz movement. I think his first automatic is in the works and I’m interested to see the price.
Any how that’s a lot of words to say I think the Dan Henry family if watches would be a nice fit at the lower price end but looks expensive scale.
    Cheers,
    Christopher
PS. With quality watches like these and the ones you highlighted I’m so baffled why people buy fashion watches.

To put an Omega, a JLC and Grand Seiko into this list in my mind makes NO sense at all. If you are going to include watches in this price range I'm wondering how "expensive" do you think they actually look like they should be worth? It reminds me of the first time you had your girlfriend tell you how much she thought certain watches were worth. It's like the time I'm at a party and a girl comes up to me and my friend and compliments his $150.00 Nixon watch and says "Wow, that looks really expensive". I'm wearing my Seiko SARB033. My friend asks her what do you think about his. "Oh it's kinda plain". LOL You know plain. Like a Patek Philippe Calatrava or a JLC Master Control or a Credor Eichii II. Plain!

Strong Overseas vibes from that PRX, love it.
Tissot is a bargain brand. I enjoy my Seastar.
My latest shitter love is the Seiko Flighty. Bought a NDC strap to pair with it. For Seiko, the proportions are perfect, the smaller lug size makes it wear like a Sub. I've got $310 total in this watch, and it feels like it could be $1000. Tons of features for the price.
Another shitter love is my Black Lunar Pilot. A sub $300 watch. I added a German Chronissimo leather strap. Insane bargain. And feels luxurious when on the wrist. I use it, to regulate the Rolexes. No BS
Most would say I've regressed with these 2 pieces, but I don't feel that when I wear them. I'd put my Pilot up against a Speedy pound for pound.

I’ve been debating between a mido or tissot for my graduation gift to myself. I’ve never had an automatic watch I’ve been using a citizen eco drive throughout college. If anybody in the watch community has any input in mido vs tissot please let me know. Great video as always teddy

Personally I'd go for a Hamilton khaki field mechanical white dial, its a classic already. If tissot wait for the automatic,

I've had 'em all in my day. Rolex,Omega,Oris,Longines,Breitling etc, etc. Best watch I ever owned is a Citizen Titanium Eco-Drive,and it was the cheapest in my watch-box. 👍🏼

Omega Seamaster Diver 300m? I'd say it looks expensive because it is. I understand "expensive" for a watch is typically tens of thousands if not hundreds of thousands of dollars, but $5k is pretty damn expensive for me. That watch is worth more than my car lol. I hope to be able to afford one someday though. It is literally my dream watch!

Great video Teddy. My adds to the list -
    1) Shinola Runwell Automatic (this one is controversial, but some pieces look great)
    2) Longines Avigation Type A 71935 white dial
    3) Cartier Tank
    4) Breitling Superocean Heritage 57 Outerknown or Rainbow (yes, I know not in-house movement on this one, but we are talking about expensive looking ones here)

Excelente video as you always do. Please, can you tell us something about Mathey-Tissot? I've heard about this brand long ago but there's not much info on the net. It's supposed that Robert de Niro wore a gold square Mathey-Tissot in the movie The Irishman by Ford Coppola recently. They make beautiful classic watches as I've seen but couldn't find more info about them. Thank in advance and go on! Best wishes.

Shame that in the PRX the second-hand doesn't match the markers... Cause it makes the entire package "cheap"
