    when you’re just waking up and see that yuyu has already ran 13 miles, trained, ate breakfast, read a book, invested his money, drank coffee and filmed a UA-cam video all before 8am

    You can easily burn 700-1000 calories in a round of disc golf at La Mirada park because of all the hills! You won’t even notice it

      You burn more if you bogey because you need to walk more. That’s why I PURPOSEFULLY go over for the course 🥏 ⛳️

    Enjoyed listening to this while driving, like a mini podcast…very informative. Do you have any recommendations on how I can increase my protein intake as a vegetarian?

    • @ElYuyuBoxing
      @ElYuyuBoxing  2 роки тому +4

      Thanks for listening!
      Simple ways to increase protein intake and not eat to many other macro nutrients would be eating egg whites, greek yogurt, and whey protein. Make it enjoyable and experiment with different foods and cooking methods 🥊

      A buddy of mine is vegetarian and he gets a lot of protein from peas

      You don't need to add protein as a vego or vegan, just eat mostly raw veggies, fruits and juices. Your body manufactures protein from the amino acids you feed it.

    Love the Channel Champ! Been watching for the last 2 years. Are BCCA'S (Amino Acids) bad to take during camp and as your weight cutting and also what do you think about taking pre workout during camp? Thank you

    • @ElYuyuBoxing
      @ElYuyuBoxing  2 роки тому

      Thanks I appreciate you! No BCAAS aren’t bad to take but wouldn’t really be necessary if you’re taking in adequate amount and a complete protein source. Whey protein works just as well and it’ll save money!
      Pre workout is fine! Just make sure there are no banned substances in the product if you’re looking to compete in boxing 🥊

    One question, I take creatine, should I stoo taking it before my fights for losing weight?
    Atm I weight 80kg, somehow gained 5kg over the last couple of months... I maybe want to get back at 75

    • @ElYuyuBoxing
      @ElYuyuBoxing  2 роки тому +2

      Thanks for watching!
      Initially you’ll gain weight when taking creatine due to some water retention but it shouldn’t have a long term effect. I wouldn’t stop taking it, the only time I cut creatine is on fight week and that’s ONLY if I really need to cut water. Keep taking creatine, it’ll improve your performance and body composition! Cut back on your food and add some light exercise 🥊

    I have a question. Whenever i do exercises like pushups or medicine ball exercises i feel like i work my right side for the most part, the right side is also stronger . Do you have a tip to devide my weight better? I think the muscle imbalance comes from my background in icehockey. Btw you have very enjoyable vids, keep up the good work.

    • @sflo8195
      @sflo8195 2 роки тому

      You can do things like uneven pushups where one hand is on the ground and the other hand is elevated 6 inches or so. Another option is one-handed dumbbell press.

    • @matthewroberts198
      @matthewroberts198 2 роки тому

      This happens me (more my left side is stronger and feels more worked). Like S Flo said, unilateral work but also what I do is if I'm doing, say pushups, I'll deliberately push more through my weaker side a bit more. Not so much that my strong side isn't working but enough that I feel it the weaker side being worked

    • @ElYuyuBoxing
      @ElYuyuBoxing  2 роки тому

      I agree with these two answers below! One is always going to have a dominant side but if you really sense the imbalance work on the weaker side individually. Also make sure you are doing correct form on your exercises 🥊

    Are you using this formula from the current weight one is walking around in or do you use the formula for the weight goal? So say I’m 165 but fighting at 147. Which would I use?

    • @ElYuyuBoxing
      @ElYuyuBoxing  Рік тому

      Good question! I would start with the walking around weight(165) in order to determine your maintenance. After a week or 2 you can make your calorie adjustments depending if you’re losing or gaining weight.
