I just across this video and I'm so excited to hear a former "anti-homeschool" teacher. I'm a former high school teacher and have been homeschooling my children since the beginning. I wrote different things on popsicle sticks like hot potato, musical chairs, spoons, hop scotch, freeze tag hide and seek…. And on our “move body” time we will do some of those. We also practice soccer drills, agility’s and my next one I add will be scavenger hunts. We love our just dance too and GoNoodle dancing!! Cosmic yoga is fun sometimes but my oldest doesn’t care for the instructor haha. I think workout Joe is the other one we follow for little workouts. We also do exploring nature with children and each week it’s a different focus so I try to save a day for nature journaling and use one of our outside mornings to explore. Having an afternoon read aloud snuggle time might be nice or poetry tea time or hot chocolate depending on the season. We are doing a picnic poetry tea Time by our pond this month (for exploring nature theme)….

I feel as though we might be kindred spirits. This was our first year homeschooling, though my husband and I were NOT planning on it. Then, we found we love it! It thrills me to find curriculums that fit my kiddos! Thanks for sharing your structure and curriculum!

I live in Portugal and homeschooling theme here is not really present 😁my babe is still small (I just published *meet my baby*vlog),but I am considering homeschooling her if she wishes to. 😊

This is the same scenario with my 4 year old. He’s technically pre-k but is doing K and 1st grade curriculum. He breezed through the pre-k and some of the K curriculum before he turned 4 in July Side note : my 1YO daughter is also named Lina, every time she hears you say Lina she looks around to see who’s calling her 😂🙈
