Thank you so much for sharing your story, it's such an inspiration. Please tell me you are going to continue your show. I homeschool my 6-year-old granddaughter since she was 3 years old.
We loved ABC Bible Verses. My daughter already knew her letters, but she loved reading the lessons again and again and talking about them. I felt like I benefited as well from the examples set by the main characters-a good reminder to be obedient to God’s Word in a simple, straightforward way.
Have you made a video about story time treasures? I would love to see you do one on that😃 I’ve been toying with the idea of story time treasures for 1st grade or maybe trying 5 in a row.... Decisions, decisions!
That’s a great question! I think try to go with what they’re interested in, maybe let them pick the unit. Mariah has definitely done best with the units that she has an interest or investment in. For units that were not her favorite or maybe a little over her head I found that adding great picture books and hands on activities really helped her. Mariah’s favorites have been: artists, space, and earth science.
My oldest is going into first grade, so thank you for sharing this!
Thanks for watching!

Hi from British Columbia, Canada! Thanks for suggesting ABC Bible Verses! It looks so sweet and I just ordered it to add to our morning basket :)

No I haven’t yet. I have used both story time treasures and five in a row. They’re both great but definitely different.

Thank you for the review. I appreciate your honesty. Is the Reading Cheetah program secular?
I believe so, but I would point you to the Happy Cheetah website for more info.
Tnx you for sharing! Do you have a recommendation for what GR units are better for younger grades?

Wow
Omg your kids are beautiful:) are Charlotte Mason books religious??
Do you mean the Pathway Publisher books? These books depict Amish farm life and values.
@@EverydayHomeschooler thank u:)
Charlotte Mason is a literature based curriculum and it can be secular or religious depending on the books you used
