    Hi I love this so much first of all! I know this was a few years ago, but could you post a video of how you weekly plan with so many resources?

      Hey mama! Thank you so much ☺️. Sadly, I had to stop homeschooling because of work 😕. While I don’t plan for homeschooling anymore, I am actually teaching. I’m finding that the most important thing to do first is setting learning goals which could be skill based or gaining understanding of a topic or concept. Planning around that first will guide what resources and materials to use each week. I hope that helps!

      Hi Jamie! My pleasure 😊. I plan to go into more detail with the boxed curriculum sets (Logic of English and Singapore Dimensions math) really soon!

    I’m actually going to pull out my kindergartner next week. I’m super nervous but I know it’s for the best. I really don’t feel like he’s getting much out of the public school system.

      Oh wow mama! I know that's a super hard decision to make, but it's good that you're doing it so early in his schooling. I'm praying the transition is smooth for your and your son.💜

      YESSS!!! I’m hoping to set out more little books like that for her to do. I’m thinking of incorporating kids’ sudoku or something like that.

      I was so so glad to find that book 😊. There’s another one I had my eye on, but it was so much more expensive and the illustrations were a little to eccentric for me.

      Thank you! I’m looking forward to seeing how everything works out. Now, I’m in the middle of figuring out a new routine to rotate learning with these resources.

    I love everything you shared. Where can we find these books? Are most of them on Amazon?

      Hello! I’m glad to hear it was helpful 😊👍. Yes, a lot can be found on Amazon, but there are other sites as well. I think I might have put the links in the description, so check that out and let me know if you are able to access them! Happy, homeschooling 😊

    Did you use teacher's manuals for dimensions?

    • @mama-yael
      @mama-yael  Рік тому +1

      I used them all of 2 sec when I first tried the curriculum 😬. The teachers guys have been updated so that it says one for homeschoolers specifically so I think those will be a lot more helpful now than what I was working with before.

    My kid is behind she can do two words but connecting three and four words is a challenge. Any recommendation?

      Hi! Do you mean phrases? Like “The cat sat”?

      @@mama-yaelprobably three- or four- letter words?

    • @mama-yael
      @mama-yael  3 місяці тому +1

      @@rachellaurie5700 sorry for the delayed response. I'm helping my son with 3-letter CVC words right now, and what seems to help is using a few consonant and vowel combinations at a time with the same endings. So when we do the "-at" ending, he sounds it out so he knows what it is, then we add another beginning sound so he can make a new word like "b-at" or "c-at". Alphabet cards help A TON with this!
