At a glance this vid looks like Musketeer Guide. black reliquary part is hidden. Maybe change vid name to "Darkest Dungeon Mods: Black Reliquary's Musketeer"?
They've done such a great job on this mod that I'm just going to deem it Darkest Dungeon 1.5. Good sense on the balance too and the UI adjustments aren't only helpful but gorgeous as well.
There's a lot of reasons this mod really excites me. It took me a moment to adjust but It just gets more and more interesting and has some amazing ideas ahead.
Great video. I took some stuff from BR Musk and from BR in general and put it into a class rework of GR. I thought GR would be a good use of ammo types, though I only did two. Armor piercing and blighting.
I'm honestly considering buying the DD with it's all dlc on Steam for that fan-expansion(hard to call it a mod at that point, similar case to Gothic 2 Chronicles of Myrtana) alone. It honestly looks more fair and balanced than the actual Darkest Dungeon that, for me, becomes only frustrating later on. Buut since you mentioned that they plan to give the mod it's own stand-alone install I will wait for any purchased on the version I already have, the GoG one.
Hey dude just wanted to say i got into darkest dungeon thanks to your modded classes videos. Primarily classes like the fool and the hood who are some of my favorite class mods.
For sure! I know the team aren't interested in making their reworks or future modded classes into base game versions - at least for a while. But I do think this iteration provides a strong template for an interesting BR rework for base game!
Now I'm wondering about DD2. It's highly likely that the arbalest or musketeer will get added to the roster considering the current lack of 4th rank characters (barring plague doctor and occultist). But I'm wondering if only one will be added to the game, both like the previous game, or if musketeer will be added but be completely retooled. I doubt both will be added just based on how many skills each class rocks in the sequel, but it would be interesting.
Correct me if im wrong but isnt bombard busted with shrapnel ammo? It should counter that -75% less damage and make it do normal damage against the entire enemy team, with musketeers base dmg that seems incredibly strong
I see your concern here, but thankfully that's not quite how it's calculated in game. It's not very clear, but essentially the ability has a base-damage on its own which is what's being multiplied. According to the devs, "The 75% is being applied to a pretty small number"
One of my character die, did not pass the Check and then i try a Full torchless run in order to get money but i did not pass so well lets just continue.
This is an amazing addition that I want try. Is it safe to play other class mods or is there a way some has found out to port them over? No disrespect intended towards the creator, but The Shinobi and Golem class are my hands down favorite, and would love to take them with me on this new journey.
How does % armor piercing work exactly, youd think it ignores 10,20,50 % of someones prot but ive been playing around with it myself and it doesnt seem to be the case
Is it avalible somewhere for vanilla game, can't find it in workshop? I'm trying to get all achievs for vanilla before trying black reliquary, and musketeer really seems like a great character.
Hey can I please know the difference between pagan and religious grammatically and in game? I attempted to google search it but couldn’t still understand it
Hey good question! So generally, Pagan in DD refer to heroes that worship certain entities and don't follow the Light. Occultist is a prime example and Hellion a close second - and you can imagine their cultures aren't non-religious but not aligned with the Light (like Vestal, Crusader, etc)

It's pretty cool, not a fan of BR because it forces you to slow down and doesn't reward gambling or aggression. A lot of great ideas in this mod tho.
