The cab is 98% of your tone. ML soundlab is consistently the best. I use GGD for my IR but I will try this out

I'm pretty sure your pickups, amp, pedals and other variables make up for more than 2% of your tone, but I agree that the cab can make or break a good signal chain.

This shit is not true, the settings are not correct. The plugin works perfect but what he is telling you are pure bullshit, still you have to try out and add your own settings.

This is important information. You literally only need a guitar interface and a computer. (well a guitar too). And you can have some amazing tones to play with. The el34 evh roots sim is just as good or better than any of the paid plugins. And as you pointed out, there is some free Irs that you can play with too. A great time to be a bedroom guitarist. And a reminder you don't need to buy 2000$ amps and cabs. (You can, but don't need too).
why 99% irs sounds like shit?
Took the advice and got this amp sim awhile back. Also picked up the Dr drive/horizon pedal sim. Both were great advice and sound amazing. I bump your e.p. all the time in the car, and ended up with a bit of influence in my playing. Thanks man, keep killing it!

@@lbmusic444 Hey there! Out of all the stuff he plays in the video, the only tracks I recognise are Marigold by Periphery, The Devil in I by Slipknot and Take This Life by In Flames. I'm unfortunately not really sure if the other stuff he plays comes from songs I'm unfamiliar with or if he was just improvising, I hope this helps at least a little though haha

How do I use the IRs.
I tried everything you did, but my tone still sounds nothing like yours. It's very flat and muddy. Am I missing something?
Might be a lot of factors dude. Similar would be with everyone else's experience. Some factors to take in consideration, imho:
One is to change strings and setup your instrument properly. Second, and I think it's the most important is "how you hear it in the room". These are monumental factors. Is the room acoustic treated? are your monitors in good condition and type of monitors? I believe even if you'll have the exact same gear and setup as Keyans, it will sound different but similar.

I've been trying for the past 2 days to get this plugin in fl studio and I can't find anything on UA-cam or Google. I've tried extracting files, reinstalling. I need a full in depth video on how to get the amped roots plugin into fl. I just want to make songs

All that ML sound lab stuff .. like that Roots amp crashes Logic on my M1 mini .. It's annoying because it's a nice sounding plug-in. It's indicated that it's been optimized with the 2.0 version, but any project I have that amp in my chain, it crashes.

So when you load an IR there's no mic placement? Also, 44k 48 and 96? I am the only one still using 41K?
I have to try this IR. I can't seem to get any good tones out of the stock IR's but this demo does sound pretty good. I'm struggling with lead tones (just overall crap) and chuggy low end at F#/ Drop E gets kinda mushy.
I used the same effects and it sounds cheap for me. I don't know if it's my guitar or what. I'm using the Schecter Demon 7 and I have it plugged in to my Scarlett Solo in Ableton Live Lite

I copied all the stuff but mine doesnt sound the same as your video. My tone has less power than yours. I have a nazgul pickup and a focusrite 3i3. Can someone help me what im missing??
This amp sim sounds great but when I downloaded it and tried to use it in fl studio, and when I put the plugin in my guitar channel all I could hear was distorted white noise and I couldn’t fix it. Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated

Man, I'd love to download that plugin, and I tried, but I just don't understand how plugins like those work. I installed it, apparently, but I'm not seeing it come up anywhere on my plugins list in Reaper. It makes no sense.
Try add another path to look for the MLSoundLab folder in particular, and rescan all your plugins in the reaper window so it searches through all the default paths again

I downloaded this after your review and couldn't believe how much it sounds like my real jcm2000 with 4x12 cab with a gate and tube screamer in front. Amazing company can't believe it was free. Sounds great with Valhalla space modulator which is free doubler/ flanger
I'm new to all this DAW stuff and when I initially fire up amped roots there is quite a noticeable buzz. What can I do to eliminate that? I've seen it in other videos too, so I know it's not just me.

great amp but there is one MASSIVE OVERSIGHT that is pissing me off. The download overwrote my previous version of amped roots so now all of the sessions from my released songs are ruined and i have to basically rebuild all of my guitar tones from scratch again in my current projects. DO NOT DOWNLOAD this immediately if you are actively using the previous version in your projects
There are many IR products on the market, but I think DYNAX IR has the best sound. As stated in their product description, DYNAX IR is really fast. When using IRs, the pick attack is sometimes delayed, and it is difficult to add picking nuances, but their IR prevents all of that. It's revolutionary!

You would need an impulse loader. I would suggest youtubing some videos about impulse responses and there are tons of vids about the basics
It does not work on my Macbook Pro 2020 with the latest Scarlett 4i4 for some reason. It works as a VST in DAW but not as a standalone app. It crushes every time I want to open it. Any suggestions?

I downloaded the version 2.0 with the ir but i get so much latency its not even funny. Its on 132 samples and its still unusable. All my other plugins are working fine as stand alone or in Reaper.
All the free content available in general on the internet, sometimes I wonder, is it still worth it to buy plugins, especially guitar plugins, and still I find myself spending so much money lmao I don't knwo if I can handle the answer.

Have a mk2 Steindberg and I get this hum when not playing on my guitar. Using humbuckers and the only way I can get rid of it is cranking the noise gate.

Thanks for the video on this amp sim. How did you do that low sound, around 0:25. It’s on the the e of 3, after the down beat. I thinks it’s bass but dissonsnt low distorted wobbly sound you hear a lot of metal. Can anyone chime in? Thanks
