Serve this juicy chicken breast over zucchini noodles - watch this video for how to make them perfectly, NOT watery (I compare 2 methods!): ua-cam.com/video/u9rerA5ZvC0/v-deo.html
I have never brinned anything before, but I must say that this was the BEST chicken I have ever made. From now on, I will always cook my chicken this way.
I recently purchased an airfrier and it really is a great addition to the kitchen. I'm now going to give this recipe a try as my chicken usually turns out dry so it will be nice to have it juicy
God bless you. I sure wish you was here. I just purchased a very nice air fryer. Trying to use it can be somewhat challenging I'm seeing. So hopefully I can take your videos. Riddle watchum and maybe to turn out pretty good. Thank you God bless and happy Thanksgiving.
I like to use lime juice sorta how she uses olive oil and paprika based chicken rub.... Famous Dave makes a really good easy to find version....to make incredible air fryer chicken.
Hi Maya! Thank you for another great recipe and clear instructions. Made this yesterday and it came out awesome. I actually used boneless, skinless chicken thighs because I had them on hand (and also...more fat😆!). However, I will try it again with chicken breast ASAP. All the best, Mike.
🌼Maya~ your videos are so watchable, easy to follow, & just really pleasant overall. Thank you for the time & effort you put into these posts, AND for reminding me about brining! I don't know why I keep skipping this step, but it may be that I'm still recovering from my pickle brine fiasco. I had never done it before, & was attempting a 'dupe' recipe, so I figured why not leave them in the brine even longer? Well, 2 days later I had mushy/stringy nearly inedible chicken~ 5 pounds of it no less! My husband ended up eating it a few times over the next couple days, such a good sport this guy. He said they were fine, but no- they absolutely were no such thing. =)
Thank you so much for this especially the brining and explanation step. It was so helpful. Definitely a subscriber since I like how everything is SO simple especially the ingredients.
My probe thermometer works great in the oven. I've tried it with my Cosori air fryer and the basket won't close with the cable in the way. Since I usually have the supermarket supersized breasts, I bought a wireless probe (Meater) which works well if the piece of meat it's inserted into isn't too small.
Thank you so much, Beverly! Here's the naan recipe: www.wholesomeyum.com/low-carb-keto-naan-bread-recipe/ Not sure if I had that one on UA-cam, but there's a video on the recipe card at the link. :)
❤ Making this tonight!! 😊 I really appreciate your science lesson on brining. New subscriber because your video is so well done-efficient time with good instructions and the ability to print out the recipe. I also like the spice alternatives. One suggestion: the “recipe” does not include the brining steps or formula. Some people might forget that. I added it to my print out. I’ll be back for more ideas! ❤
Thank you, Susan, that means a lot! Timing the videos is definitely tricky. I brined the chicken in the video but the website version currently doesn't have that as I found it's quite good even without that step, because of how the air fryer cooks. I usually include it but wanted to offer people a simpler option, too.
So help please.... my new LG Smart Oven arriving soon has a built in air fryer feature with a large rectangular "basket". Would I follow the same instructions as the countertop air fryer recipe?
Hi Beth, yes, but the time might be different so I’d use a meat thermometer to check. I don’t have that oven so haven’t tested if the time would be the same.
PLEASE Only use silicone spatulas, tongs, etc when using an Air Fryer. Metal utensils permanently damage the special nonstick basket surfaces. Be well and keep air frying.
Hi Helen, The point of doing it slowly was so people could see well what it looks like. I'm not sure who "they" is, it's just me, the person who spent over 12 hours making a video a few minutes long, for people to watch for free. Maybe you could consider the person on the other end when you make comments next time.
It came out super salty. I had to through it out! I washed the brine off, and it was still awful! I have cooked many of your recipes with great success. I have also brined chicken and turkey many times before. I do not know what went wrong unless my locally sourced salt is far more salty than store bought.
Haha, that's what I thought too! I have a mess of kitchen appliances in the basement and keep telling myself I need to get rid of some. But my air fryer sits on the counter because I end up using it more often than my oven now!
@@sandihalwachs9439 I have a convection oven as well (as an option, I test my oven recipes without so people that don’t have convection can make them), but I find the results with the air fryer is still better because the space is much smaller. It does still work in a convection oven though. :)
I go a long way to not buy chicken, that has added water, I would never dream of adding it myself either, then I'll rather eat a dry chicken breast, I don't like the consistency of "water enriched" chicken breast...
@@WholesomeYum well cut them then. Irrespective you would NEVER be allowed in MY kitchen or ANY professional kitchen for that matter . Simple basic Hygene. You have a nice day too.

So glad to hear that, Leonard! Enjoy!
I can’t have salt because of kidney issues. Is there an alternative ?
Same here
Thank you Maya, for your recipes. They really help me keep the bland out of keto!
I'm so glad to hear that, Pamela! Hope you'll subscribe if you haven't already :)

The air fryer is amazing

Thank you so much, I’m so glad you like the videos! Yes, definitely don’t brine for longer than 24 hours. You husband sounds like a keeper. :)
You should do more fish and salmon recipes ie Thai curry and salmon in a curry sauce 👌
Thank you for the feedback, Roger!
Excellent job!! Thank you. Pedro from south florida.
You're very welcome!
Same here! I waited FOREVER to buy an air fryer and when I did I used it almost everyday! Now I have TWO! LOL!
We got ours recently as well and are considering getting a second one, but our stove is old and many new ranges come with an air fryer in the oven.
Thank you so much for this especially the brining and explanation step. It was so helpful. Definitely a subscriber since I like how everything is SO simple especially the ingredients.

Wow this very impressive 👍😋
When next are you making new delicious juiciest chicken breast?
Sounds good
I have to say thank you so much for sharing this chicken breast recipe juicy , I just make some today’s so juicy yummy 😋.
So glad you liked it, Diana! Enjoy!
Way too many adverts and a long journey to your delightful recipes! Thank you.

What about for people on a low salt diet how does the brining with all the salt have on the sodium content of the chicken breast?
Great question about the salt. What did you ever find out? My husband is on a low sodium diet.
can i use curry powder instead of paprika
Sure, you can! You could also use both if you want.
Can you brine in pickle juice instead?
You probably can, but I'm not sure what concentration of salt is in pickle juice and whether it's high enough to trigger the same osmosis reaction.
Can we bake this in oven ? If so what temp & time plzz…
Yes, you can! Here's my recipe for an oven version: www.wholesomeyum.com/baked-chicken-breast-recipe/

Thx👐🏼
Brining is great for chicken ,turkey ….
And you can buy stoves with built in oven air fryer also!

Thx, cutie
Always cracks me up, they go so slow taking the chicken out and slooooo to put it onto plate, 😂it wont break if you go abit quicker.

Already on bite #1 and all I can say is hell mf yea 10\10
So it cooked both sides in 10 mins? 🤔 what about flipping it to the other side?
Yes! Due to the air circulation there's no need to flip but you can if you like.
She me too'd chicken breast 🤣
I'm surprised you don't use a designated colored plastic cutting board for chicken.
I try to avoid plastic cutting boards because they dull my knives. Feel free to use any cutting board you like.
I find that the supermarket chicken is lacking in flavour
Why didn't you flip it?
With the air circulation of the air fryer, I don't find it necessary to flip them, but you can if you want to.

Oh no, sorry to hear that! Yes, I guess it's possible that your local salt was more salty? I used sea salt.
I'm not buying a air fryer...never. no more room
