    Serve this juicy chicken breast over zucchini noodles - watch this video for how to make them perfectly, NOT watery (I compare 2 methods!): ua-cam.com/video/u9rerA5ZvC0/v-deo.html

    I have never brinned anything before, but I must say that this was the BEST chicken I have ever made. From now on, I will always cook my chicken this way.

    I recently purchased an airfrier and it really is a great addition to the kitchen. I'm now going to give this recipe a try as my chicken usually turns out dry so it will be nice to have it juicy

    God bless you. I sure wish you was here. I just purchased a very nice air fryer.
    Trying to use it can be somewhat challenging I'm seeing.
    So hopefully I can take your videos.
    Riddle watchum and maybe to turn out pretty good.
    Thank you God bless and happy Thanksgiving.

    I like to use lime juice sorta how she uses olive oil and paprika based chicken rub.... Famous Dave makes a really good easy to find version....to make incredible air fryer chicken.

    Hi Maya! Thank you for another great recipe and clear instructions. Made this yesterday and it came out awesome. I actually used boneless, skinless chicken thighs because I had them on hand (and also...more fat😆!). However, I will try it again with chicken breast ASAP. All the best, Mike.

    🌼Maya~ your videos are so watchable, easy to follow, & just really pleasant overall. Thank you for the time & effort you put into these posts, AND for reminding me about brining! I don't know why I keep skipping this step, but it may be that I'm still recovering from my pickle brine fiasco.
    I had never done it before, & was attempting a 'dupe' recipe, so I figured why not leave them in the brine even longer? Well, 2 days later I had mushy/stringy nearly inedible chicken~ 5 pounds of it no less! My husband ended up eating it a few times over the next couple days, such a good sport this guy. He said they were fine, but no- they absolutely were no such thing. =)

    My probe thermometer works great in the oven. I've tried it with my Cosori air fryer and the basket won't close with the cable in the way. Since I usually have the supermarket supersized breasts, I bought a wireless probe (Meater) which works well if the piece of meat it's inserted into isn't too small.

    ❤ Making this tonight!! 😊 I really appreciate your science lesson on brining. New subscriber because your video is so well done-efficient time with good instructions and the ability to print out the recipe. I also like the spice alternatives. One suggestion: the “recipe” does not include the brining steps or formula. Some people might forget that. I added it to my print out. I’ll be back for more ideas! ❤

    • @WholesomeYum
      @WholesomeYum  Рік тому

      Thank you, Susan, that means a lot! Timing the videos is definitely tricky. I brined the chicken in the video but the website version currently doesn't have that as I found it's quite good even without that step, because of how the air fryer cooks. I usually include it but wanted to offer people a simpler option, too.

      Hi Beth, yes, but the time might be different so I’d use a meat thermometer to check. I don’t have that oven so haven’t tested if the time would be the same.

    PLEASE Only use silicone spatulas, tongs, etc when using an Air Fryer. Metal utensils permanently damage the special nonstick basket surfaces.

      Hi Helen, The point of doing it slowly was so people could see well what it looks like. I'm not sure who "they" is, it's just me, the person who spent over 12 hours making a video a few minutes long, for people to watch for free. Maybe you could consider the person on the other end when you make comments next time.

    It came out super salty. I had to through it out! I washed the brine off, and it was still awful! I have cooked many of your recipes with great success. I have also brined chicken and turkey many times before. I do not know what went wrong unless my locally sourced salt is far more salty than store bought.

    • @WholesomeYum
      @WholesomeYum  Рік тому +3
