Made salmon using your method last night and it was delicious. Had to use whatever ingredients I had on hand so I substituted lime juice for lemon juice and seasoned the salmon with Old Bay. My wife said it was the best salmon ever. 10 minutes at 400 degrees in my Cosori fryer was perfect. Thanks for sharing.
Looking at several air fryer salmon recipes this morning for tonight’s dinner. We’ve cooked salmon on the grill, in the oven, in my smoker and even in a sous vide. But not in an air fryer yet. My favorite method is smoking it in a pellet grill. We think it is the tastiest (depending on seasoning used). The sous vide method is probably the most moist we’ve had salmon. While taking it out of the vacuum sealed bag the salmon would just break apart too easy. Almost all the air fryer methods on UA-cam the temperature is always high at 400F for 8-12 minutes. Depending on size & thickness. I will use my own paprika seasoning mix with some thyme recipe. In & out in 10 minutes. Check it at the 6 minute mark. Can’t wait. Thank you for your video.

One thing I do now..is before seasoning..I fill a pot with water and two handfuls of salt..let the salmon brine in the water.. for only thirty minutes pat dry and season…if you do it you will never skip that step ever again.

Thank you, Michael! I haven't noticed that (as long as the salmon is fresh, of course), but you could try butter. I haven't tested it so am not sure if it would burn. Let me know how it goes if you try it.
I made this recipe last Thursday and it was wonderful! It was very tasty, crisp on the outside and tender and moist in the inside as you said it would. And it was so easy and fast, that I I will do it this way from now on! My husband could not agree more! Thanks Maya! 💕

I agree, I hate extra appliances taking up space, but my air fryer is the one I use the MOST, almost every day. It has been a game changer. You can use the same seasonings to make baked salmon though: www.wholesomeyum.com/baked-salmon/
Well, I may consider a smaller air fryer because I do love my salmon and I’d like to have a way to do chicken to without heating up the big oven in the kitchen. I just have to watch the wattage in my house but I found one seems like it will work, but thank you for your kind comment.
We just got a new (small) microwave and it's also an air fryer, roaster and convection oven. Still making friends with it, but it's a space saver, for sure!

I don't recommend using that much chili powder unless you want it to be very spicy!

It's a pity most salmon in shops is from aquaculture fish farming based on the Norway model.
Remember to remove Pin Bones
