Roger Smith, also known as "Dirty Rhodes" would later formed a popular tag team with Hillbilly Jim, also known as "Harley Davidson" a biker gimmick in the Memphis territory in 1984.
The Assassin (Hercules Hernandez) w/manager Paul Jones was later unmasked by “Handsome” Jimmy Valiant in a “mask-vs.-hair” match in “Boogie Jam ‘84” at the Mid South Coliseum in Memphis in 1984.
The Assassins would later competed against the Original Fabulous Ones (Stan Lane and Steve Keirn) in a “mask-vs.-hair” match, and the Assassins lost the match against the Fabs, forcing them to take off their masks at the Memphis Mid-South Coliseum in 1983. A week later, the Assassins returned as “The A-Team.”
The first Assassin to speak has Jody's eyes and nose, but his voice seems higher pitched and more 'excited' than his understated promos I've seen from Georgia. And he's slimmer. But that might be around the time he did an angle where he lost weight to play the role of El Santo when he Pearl Harbored Dusty Rhodes in Florida.
R.I.P Jody Hamilton
The Assassin talking on there was Roger Smith, talented worker. He also "did" Dirty Rhodes in Memphis.
