beautiful how steamboat goes into the fence at 4:07 and stays sprawled out on the mat. the only negative is that the video is a little dark and there's very little close-up shooting of steamboat.
If this was 1982 or EARLY 1983, then this would predate the 1st time "Superfly" Jimmy Snuka flew off the top of a cage against Don Muraco at Madison Square Garden, which was October 1st, 1983!
Just the way they worked this storyline is something Vince and his "creative" guys need to examine closely. It took several months for this storyline to play out. The stipulation where if Steamboat and Youngblood lost they could never team again was classic. It was used in a rematch as Slaughter was heading to the WWF and needed an way to explain his leaving.
Where did you get the complete perfect match from. Please tell me where you got this from. God I want the entire match like this not the full nelson crap I got.
Listen to that crowd! Wow. Such s shame wrestling fans today will never experience that level of excitement and anticipation.

This was staircase 83 Thanksgiving night
Slaughter trying to be Superfly Snuka & backfired
But remember that Snuka went off the top rope against Bob Backlund in May of 1980. Only difference is that he missed Backlund.
You can hardly tell it's fake!
The real art
I saw these teams in a cage rematch in Fayetteville NC. It was wild.
