I really want to get a discord together. I play alliance and I would love to be able to communicate with some horde players to call out bot locations for each other so we can honor farm them with extreme prejudice. Maybe promote comraderie thru mutual disdain?
Prot pally is in a GREAT place, I never have to drink in runs. The issue is people think they have to use something every global, If you want to be a quick clearer you get a threat lead (have a threat WA to show you) and then move on as soon as threat is equal to about 1/2 of remaining life. No one can ever pull off you and you don't waste mana. You just keep moving, your job is to hold threat not be top DPS every pull and drinking.
I've been saying exactly the same about Kill Command! TBC version would not only be just better than the current iteration, it also changes BM rotation somewhat, which it sorely needs to step away from the mindless turret spec it is now
BM is very boring... Idc if the numbers are bigger, I don't want to play it. I've gotten so much crap since launch. "Why aren't you BM?" If I never see a scorpid again it'll be too soon...lol
@@Bigbobbedboi arcane is super OP. you can kill everything on the open world. you can do some nasty aoe farm and solo any elite without any issue. and just change 1 rune and BOOM you are a healer now.
I am the MT of my guild as Prot pally. Honestly played around with specs a lot, if you want the smoothest pure tank paladin build, you definitely go sword board. I opted for 11/0/5 for consecration, and reduced mana of seals and judgement. Martyrdom is so good for mana sustain, it allows you to seal twist efficiently and maintain mana for avengers, and taunt. Avengers give you a ranged pull, nice threat tag for mobs that run away from you. Hand of Reckoning makes it nice to not have to rebuff your threat increase and nice in the event of tank swap necessity or stray mobs. Playing divine storm 2h tank felt pretty sloppy, very mana intensive and relatively dull and I felt like there just wasn't enough tools to feel "tank" like gameplay.
I am having fun! So far, I have played mostly on an alliance pve server. Normally, I only play horde and pvp, however this time it has been a real nice leveling experiance with so many people not only willing to help, but they want to help! The mindset on alliance is totally different than on horde. I do plan to level 1-2 horde before the next phase because there are SO many alliance, the battle ground queue times are doing be insane. I am thinking shaman and warrior or rogue for horde pvp server. On alliance I have a 25 hunter because everyone has one and they level themselves so may as well have one for easy farming, plus pvp on them is too fun, and I have a 25 druid which is just an amazing class to play right now. I even thought about playing a horde druid because they're so diverse, it would be the only class needed, rather leveling multiple horde alts. I do not plan to raid much, until level 50 or even 60 and just level in the phases and then once done leveling, I will either PVP or just quit playing till the next phase.
If you're going to call out Blizzard's lack of direction with hunter you should probably mention rogue for the same reasons. In PVE it plays exactly the same as normal classic.

imo they should change kill command to be an attack like cata or retail instead of the worst itteration of it from wotlk. would make it feel like we are using our pet for more than just auto attacking
i do not agree with balance being on "dissapointing".as someone who was a balance main on Classic and had to endure the most horrible leveling experience and a lot of discrimination for playing balance in classic the state it is right now is pretty good. well maybe compared to other classes is not the "best" but is clearly not at the level of elemental. we actually got a "rotation" and thats surprising for lvl 25 since for most of the whole leveling experience of balance you just spam the same 2 buttons forever. also now with the buffs balance is doing super good in PVP and in bfd you can pump some decent damage at the pair of other casters.well obviously melees are doing way better but balance is not at the bottom like always and we dont even have Moonkin form yet!. im sure it will be waay better when the next phase comes out.

10:55 I'd say *_Ice Lance_* & *_Chimera Short_* are about tied for "Worst First Rune." WTF is the point of having Chimera Shot when the only "Sting" I have is *_Scorpion Sting,_* AND there's zero reason to refresh the DOT because mobs die so quickly?
a lot of classes/specs are going to be shit at 40 either due to not having a good lv 40 talent or not having spell levels unless we get some OP runes Demo lock is still going to slap, but most casters dont get their new ranks until 42/44
I love my shaman tank 😊 I will say , though, that I hope being more defensive and using a shield becomes more ideal later. In my BFD clears I don’t even use a shield anymore- just DW tank with double rockbiter and dps can just blaaaaaaast
Yeah same, on my pally I started in holy and prot spec, but now I'm just 2hand tanking in full Ret spec. In classic the balance of threat and mitigation is key and in many cases more threat is the prio.
Ele already feels strong in pvp. Sporting over 2.2k HP and mana when buffed in pvp and hitting people for 600 lava bursts. Other than hunters, I feel like no other class bothers me in pvp
Frost mage is not only bad, it's disappointing. The exitement and thrill of arcane being a full fledged spec saved mage slightly for me, but I was really hoping for early pve/pvp god class Jaina Proudmoore
it was always going to be bad due to the lack of survivability pre-ice barrier/block, but its even worse than anticipated. Only hope now is that they give frost mages deep freeze or water ele next phase, and make ice lance not dogshit

Sadly, all caster specs suck, with Destro warlock being the best one/least sucky. all physical dps outshine casters. Hunter is my favorite dps, but I prefer to tank.
I wonder if you saw prot paladins with lot of downtime because people don't understand how to tank as prot paladin. One of the luxuries prot paladin have over other tanks is the cheer amount of AoE they have. A prot paladin that goes one pack at a time isn't a bad one, but it will be a slow one. You WILL grab multiple packs if not entire rooms as a proper prot paladin. I wouldn't be surprised if prot paladin will be the go-to AoE tank for 40 man raids.
I really hope Blizzard is gonna stay true to their promise of melee hunter being valid. Hopefully future runes will give hunters the promised ability of 3 sec cd raptor strike and in combat traps in combination with carve and flanking strike melee hunter could be very strong and would be gods in trash/cleave fights and could also compete with warriors and rogues even on single target. Rexxar anyone?

So you're judging a classes spec on their ability to perform in a lvl 25 10-man dungeon? I've used all of these specs outside of raid with extreme success and fun in WSG on my alts and friends characters... You might want to consider expanding your viewpoint and focus on more aspects of the game outside of some narrow single PVE encounter in Azeroth... Lmao

My list (PvP)
- Most OP: Priest (any spec), Arcane Mage.
- Worst spec: Demonology Warlock
- Most surprising: Balance Druid.
I definitely plan to play more Arcane. Probably hit 25 on my mage tomorrow.
I've also found tank shaman to be really strong in PvP. Seen them 1 v 2 and 1 v 3 in open world
And yeah I play balance, kind of broken with starsurge

Balance is one of the best dps rn you need spell dmg to boots your moon fire and sunfire , and since the buff you can crit for 400 .

PVP is something special at the level 25 cap with no mounts. I am not sure if people realise how fun it actually can be.
Basically what I learnt from SOD is that blizzard loves the alliance and everything horde related is added as a fucking afterthought.

For elemental pvp I think way of earth is better than shaman rage, hp dmg reduction and earth shock on top of flame shock for more shocks

Think they should increase the 50 cap to 52 so casters in particular don’t end up missing the new rank of spells by 1 level
