Coasters - The best finish for protecting your table.

With a new table I decided it needed some coaster to protect it. I've never made coaster before so I ended up figuring out a rather inefficient way of making them. Spoilers - I suck at using a powered router and ended up fixing my mistakes with my tried and true router plane. If I were to do this again I would cut the reliefs for the cork inserts before I cut the coasters from the larger board. Made from air dried walnut and cork. Oil-varnish finish.
