Nice holder and production. Thanks for posting.
Great stuff!! Canadian Tire rules!,,,
Look at Mr. Fancy pants over here with his amazing idea of a rotational table with his planer mount!
I’m a simple man. I like my tables to rotate and my pants fancy. 😎
super cool - and entertaining! thanks
Awesome coasters.
Thanks. Nice designs.
Video production with sound effects are very well done. Appreciate the fast-forward, no talking format. The bed of nails is a brilliant drying concept I will be using. Thanks for posting.
Thanks for a perfect video!!
Thanks for a perfect comment!😁
Very nice! Great designs. Thanks for sharing.
Thanks!
Dang, those are sweet. Subscribed. 6 year video; I hope that you're still around.
Nice work, I'm a woodworker myself. Had a custom cabinet shop for 34 years in Chicago. Retire now, there is nothing I love more than woodworking. My other love is golf. You look like you are enjoying woodworking 🤗
Butiful i love it thenk you❤
Great work!
Very very nice!
Great project(s) multiple designs on a theme is a good idea. Love the wood combinations, always look tons better once oiled and POP !!
Wow! this is the best non talking maker video I have seen. Also the best scrap conversions and coasters build I have ever seen. They are beautiful work!
Nicely decorated nicely done ☑️
Cool designs, nice build and video
wow you're simply Awesome
I almost spit my tea out when those clamps came off, well done !
😄
These are cool. Im going to make me a set.
really nice work
Great video. Love the snap removal of clamps. That planar / drum sander combo station at level with table saw table is brilliant. Love it. Video is straight to the point without a lot of needless detail. Love it.
Thank you very much!
Nice job.
Fantastic looking coasters - very inspirational!
Thank you!
Who in the world would dislike this?!? Thanks for sharing and providing great ideas. Time to go buy some wood.
There’s one in every crowd. lol
Thanks for the kind words!
Love the bed of nails idea - never saw that before but it makes perfect sense!
Thanks! Glad you got a little something out of the vid!
I love the last one you made. Brilliant!
Thanks!
Very good.
I think I'm gonna make some of these soon. I've gathered quite an amount of scraps.
I like the standing one a lot!! Great job 👏
Neat project, love the incidental sound effects......
Those are amazing!
Nice - thanks for sharing.
Excellent work; great designs. Thanks for sharing.
Appreciate the kind words. Glad you enjoyed!
Thank you for a great video! Simple yet quite elegant. Thank you for not boring us with voice over while the video alone is self explanatory. Good luck!
I appreciate the kind words. Glad I didn't bore you😄 Thanks!
The sound effects are a blast! :-)
Excellent Work
Very Nice 👍
Nice. Good use of scrap wood.
fantastic
1:49 that kickback though
😅
Great coaster ideas but video editing was best I've seen in a long time. Straight, to the point. Most people would have made this 20 minutes long
Haha! Couldn't agree more! Nothing worse than watching someone sanding for 10 minutes! 😂 Thanks!
Wow, some great looking coasters and you have inspired me to use all those bits of scrap wood, I now wish I had bought a band saw rather than a table saw, as I have 10 x 8 wooden shed
I'm honoured to have inspired you! There's no better feeling than creating something with your own hands! When you're done your coasters send a pic or a link to a vid, I'd love to see them! My shop is very small as well so I feel your pain on that one, but my table saw is the heart of my shop and I think you made the right call on that one. You can use a jigsaw for pretty much anything a bandsaw can do. Happy building!
Simply Amazing!
Lovely video, cracking designs too. Thanks for sharing!
Very nice, love the unique designs
Very nice!
I dig everything about this video.
Thanks! I dig everything about this comment!
Simple, but beautiful. I'm inspired!
Fantastic work
Thanks!
Wow, you're fast!
Fantastic, I must give this a try 👍🏾
If you do make sure and share a picture or video! I'd love to see what you come up with!
Thank you for sharing. I am looking for Christmas gift ideas and this helps. I will be sure to give you all the credit.
Glad I could help!
Very nice!!!
Great video and I got some good ideas out of them. Thanks. Enjoyed the sound effects.
Glad I could help with a little inspiration 👍
Congratulations, they were beautiful!
Thank you!
great video! I will be staying tuned to see what is next!
Thanks!
Great job
Just finished making six coaster sets using a lot of bandsaw cuts and narrow strips and a lot of gluing and clamping. They look good but your coaster sets look at least as good, maybe better, and I can use up a lot of unpurposed wood while I'm at it. Thank you for the great ideas. Hope you had a great Thanksgiving Day.
That's great! Do you happen to have a video or some pictures? I'd love to see what you came up with!
Okay. I give up. How do I send pictures?
Nice!
Love your projects and channel. I teach high school woodshop and use your project ideas all the time, hope it's ok. We mill our own lumber out of salvaged logs for the woodshop
Oh man, that's amazing! I'm honoured! I'd love to see some pictures of the completed projects sometime! Thanks!
@@bitsofwoodworkshop9393 I try and highlight some of our projects on my channel, Topsaw. I do tree work on the weekend, bring the logs in and we mill them up for lumber. We just started an online store called TreeTransformation.com where we sell our projects. Thank you!
Cool build
Cheers

I came on UA-cam to find some inspiration to make coasters for a project and ended up in awe, very well done.
Glad I could help!
Arthur Boyd hopefully you have all the machines!
Love the creativity with the woodworking and the making of the video! excellent! Suscribed!
I think this is by far the best video I have came across for coasters!!!
Loved the video & your channel will grow!!!
Get ready!!!
Thanks
Thank you so much! Really glad you enjoyed!
Great job with the coaster ideas and great video! No unnecessary talking and fast-forward to help eliminate redundancy. Kudos! I'm using some of your ideas. Subscribed
Great project. Subbed
Absolutely cool 😎👍👍🔨
So much detail in such a small package, Nice build!
This is a great idea, I always have some scraps around and I tyr to use them up as much as I can. Thank you for the video and i look forward to seeing more of what you make.
Thanks! Glad you enjoyed!
Awesome! Great creativity and a pleasure to watch. Do you use any cpmpound on the buffing wheel?
Thanks! No compound, just high grit sandpaper
@@bitsofwoodworkshop9393 so that wheel is a sandpaper wheel? I have not seen those before
Very cool designs!
Love the mid century look. Maybe ill make some coasters
Very nice
Brilliant
Wonderful work. Thanks for sharing. I'm a design as you go guy also. Any hints on how you came up with the dimensions on the slotted uprights. Its taken me several trials and errors but have not been able to reproduce your fits. thanks again.
loved your designs....enjoyed...thanks for sharing.
Outstanding
Nice! I like all the different ideas.
Thanks!
the swiss cheese one is my favourite! amazing job and great video. Cheers from Ontario! +1
Love the look first of all and the different holding methods are great. Any one of the is great.
This t.co/z6o0f8z2H4 , is a very comprehensive woodworking book! It breaks every little thing down, utilizing words, drawings, real pictures, and different diagrams. It`s unbelievably informative and helps me feel like I could help my sibling while we make our furniture together.?
Wow, those are really awesome coasters! Having the three different colors really makes the grain stand out. I'd love to purchase a set if you are willing to part with one! Favorite model would be #2 (handing ones) or #5 (sitting in the slots separated). Hit me up and let me know. Thanks.
Thanks! All six sets were one offs and I gave them away as gifts, but if I decide to make more I'll let you know.
Muito bom
Wow wow
Nice. What's the minimum thickness I can go with a coaster?
looks great! they holding up well? Not sure which design I like best
Thanks! They're holding up real well. I use them almost every day!
Just found this on UA-cam...very nice work!
Awesome video! I love the different variations you chose, which also helps keep things interesting and creative in the shop, as well as challenges you(me) Will be trying some of your ideas but personalizing it. Thanks for sharing.
Thanks! I'd love to see what you come up with!
Awesome
This is so awesome!! Thanks for sharing. Can't wait to start doing stuff like that too.
Wow! Beautiful!
Very cool.
Great videos! Can I ask about that chamois polisher you use? Is that on a drill press, and where can I get one? Thanks!
It’s called a sanding mop. You can find them online. They aren’t super common though. And yes, I use it on a drill press. Cheers!
Incredible
Nice job
After the resaw, it goes through the planer. Does the glue hurt the planer blades..? (My woodworker buddy says only raw wood through the planer and joiner because the glue is so hard it will/could damage the blades)...
Thanks
Doesn’t seem to bother the blades on mine😄
Awsome nice job
Thanks!
What tips do you have on keeping the wood flat? I've made a few coasters now from just two pieces of timber and always encounter cupping. I guess the answer is just lots of smaller pieces?
