    I’m so very proud of this chap I call my son! For a musician it’s a shame about the music, video sync in the early part😆 amazing though. An inspiration to thousands out there. Keep inspiring and believing and the return will be so rewarding. Biologically, personally and emotionally. Well done mate. Love you❤️

    Hi!
    It’s so good to see such vlog.
    I have lesions in my white matter, very disturbing symptoms in my body, numbness, tingling sensations. Currently waiting for a neurology appointment. I lost vision in one eye in the past however nobody decided to check it towards MS even though a doctor had such suspicion. I hope to hear my diagnosis soon. I wish you all the best and the greatest health!
    I’m working on the same position as you, also from home, it was good to see how I could add some more fun to my home office days. :-)

    Excellent video as always Tom. I would say I follow a similar lifestyle to yourself and have also managed to stay relapse free although I do get the odd bit of tingling and fatigue. Intense exercise is highly beneficial as you know, I do a lot of cycling. My biggest enemy is probably my highly stressful job as an electrical engineer, I would like to scale down to a less stressful job but right now I'm saving for a wedding and mortgage and it's good pay so I need to stick it out! I've been looking into the grounding mat also as I've heard about the benefits, would be great if you did a video on it to get your thoughts and see the benefits it has brought you 😊

      Thanks for the kind words! But yes stress definitely plays a massive part in it and I was fortunate that I managed to get out of a stressful job to work for myself which I find so much better and gives me the freedom to go to the gym in the middle of the day etc which works so much better for me! So I would definitely suggest exploring your options because at the end of the day health is more important than money! But great I will also look to do a full video on the grounding mat and the benefits I have seen.

      @@tomgarbett77 Too bad we didn’t live in the same country and city and we could start an MS support group to tackle this disease together with MS warriors that understand this life “hit” and how to remain as stable as possible and supported by those with the same disease! Your channel is definitely bridging the gap for all of us MS’ers!

      @@tomgarbett77 it has affected my mobility and walking. I used to only need a walking stick and was able to get around all right. Now my legs are locking up and just moving 25ft around my place is difficult. Resulting relying on a wheelchair if any long distance e.g the shopping mall. Currently admitted for 5 days to try plasma exchange.
      But ya, being looking for opportunities for a work change...the biggest challenge is being able to maintain a certain base to cover medical and insurance.
      Thks l.

    Interesting video we are years apart in age (my son is likely close to your age) but we have been diagnosed with MS for about the same amount of time. It appears we do a lot of the same things with diet exercise cold meditation and breathing. Interestingly enough we both work in digital marketing. Very interested in the grounding mat. I have never used one or heard of one. think I will look into getting a grounding mat. Happy 2023

    • @tomgarbett77
      @tomgarbett77  Рік тому +1

      Yes certainly having watched your recent video it looks like we do a lot of the same things to help our MS. But yes the grounding mat is really interesting, I think I will be doing a full video on it shortly as have had quite a few comments on it.

    Tom- thank you so much for the video- love seeing the UK. Hopefully, husband & I will make it there someday! Loved your curry dinner- plz share recipe or where u got it from! I am also dairy free now & turned to Oat milk, only b/c using coconut my hdl,ldl, triclerides came back funky- I've never had my #'s off & was told coconut milk has some saturated fat?/ I was just so proud of myself for going dairy free...lol, I love coffee( 1/2 cafe Americano every day) Oh, found this chocolate brand "Back to Human, vegan, no sugar, dairy free, 70% dark, love this brand & trying to not treat myself too often!
    You look healthy so keep it up! Best, Colleen

      @tomgarbett77  Рік тому

      Glad you enjoyed! Where are you based? But yes you're right coconut milk does have quite a lot of saturated fat. However the more I research the more I am not worried about getting a lot of saturated fate in my diet, and especially the fact that it is much better than seed oils and vegetable fats! But yes it was a home made curry, so I will have to do a video next time I cook it up! And yes you gotta love coffee and dark chocolate! Thanks for the kind words wishing you all the best too!

    Isn't sauna bad for MS? All the heat...

      Sauna and then an ice-cold bath is good for MS. The hormetic stress is good for your mitochondria.
