This is awesome... I was diagnosed in 2018. In 2023, things went out of control. I had to leave everything to focus on health. I have followed non dairy diet, yoga and 4 litres water daily for 8 months. Am so happy that I don't walk with a cane or a stick at this point. I had walking and balance problems which are still there but they have reduced substantially. I really hope that 2024 is the year that I finally come out of it. The doctors are really amazed and happy because I am in a stable condition. I'm able to do things which I was not able to do earlier.
I was diagnosed a few weeks ago. I am due to see the neurologist soon to discuss treatment. All the treatments sound awful to me. Even Ocrevus is associated with PML. Glad you are doing well.
@@janbarriault4494 Ask your doctor to prescribe a sedative if you are very claustrophobic. Also helpful for claustrophobia is using an eye covering like the eye mask people use for sleeping. However, make sure that whatever eye covering you use has no metal in or on it. Try to relax and you can ask them to play music you find relaxing while you are in the tube. All the best and I hope you will get back great results and be healthy.
Awesome news! Having MS know how the waiting and not knowing feels. So happy for you! How are you doing on carnivore... hope you holding on😊 I have done alot of diets and vitamins and.... and .... and. 20 years down the line.... started with cutting carbs almost 5 years ago.... before going strict carnivore. Haven't had relapse in 4 years. I really believe diet is very important for us. Hold on. Going to get better. You have your whole life in front of you.... The next MRI believing with you... NO lesions or just those with no further relapses. Thanks for update. Hope you have a nice steak to celebrate it with 😊
Thanks man! And yes diet and lifestyle 100% plays a big role. And yes carnivore is going really well, 1 week in and feeling great! Although not strict as I am including some fruits for now although I may go strict after. But great to hear the diet is working great for you also 💪 it just makes sense to eat real foods that we have evolved eating!
@@celestialblissfulness Hi Amanda. Yes on Rebiff beta inteferons. Diagnosed 2004. Started on Avonex in 2007 when had 3 to 4 relapses per year. Hope to stop DMT for good. Really after a lot of research and many diets i think that carnivore could help a lot. In weeks time will be on strict carnivore for 2 mnths now.
Great news Tom! :) Very happy for you, also nervous about my scan in a couple months - really hoping my DMT is working. Currently on Vumerity/ Tecfidera - would like Ocrevus also but here in the netherlands they still use escalation model! Have you had any infections so far with ocrevus as I heard there is a slightly higher risk for that :)
@@tomgarbett77 that's great to hear! :) There is another theory about MS that actually it is because it is overactive / too strong xD I also usually never get sick funnily enough - fantastic news though! Keep up the good work :)
Thanks for sharing your update.
