I have the NVIDIA QUADRO M4000 along with a AMD FX8350 8 Core Processor Running at 4 GHZ. I am having trouble achieving acceptable FPS in both Train Sim World 2 & Train Simulator 2022 do you have any suggestions as to the best settings in Nvidia Control Panel. Your comments would be appreciated.
the nvidia quadro is their workstation gpus, its not optimized for gaming so you wont get much out of it for that. Quadros are crazy expensive though, you could sell it for a decent amount of money and upgrade your cpu to a ryzen apu.
@@jomeimclean9804 The ryzen apu is still worse than this quadro for gaming performance, so unless Barrie is cpu bottlenecked I would advise overclocking the fx 8350 and buying a better budget GPU as the cheapest upgrade, such as a 900 series card, eg. 970 or 980, then save up for the complete platform upgrade (cpu, motherboard & ram). If you can stretch a 2nd hand gtx 1070 would be a great GPU upgrade.
I found this on Ebay for 50€ today, would've been a welcome budget solution for gaming for me, but i dont have the money. Being a student sucks big time... Guess i stick with my gtx 1050ti for now...
@@rathstaralthough the 1050ti doesnt have the 4 dp or the fact that the m4000 is better utilized when rendering and video editing. Would be more convenient as a student.
@@jankow14 yeah this card is perfect for the kind of games I’m in to (lost ark, lol, wow, genshin etc.) but i was wandering if I were to upgrade it what would be the next stepping stone?
@@jasonb787 correct me if I’m wrong but itsnt the gtx 1660 “super” more powerful than the 1070 ti? They’re also going for around $150 on eBay. All these numbers are confusing lol.
I wonder how this GPU would go playing the latest e-sports titles?
Pretty fine.

There's much difference between this and a 1050ti, techpowerup actually puts the 1050ti as slightly faster

I have Quadro M4000 and I have better performance in these games. Between GTX 1050 ti and GTX 960.
M4000 in gaming performance = 1050ti in game
Is there anything around the $200 range that would be a noticeable upgrade to the m4000?
