I kind of missed. What you put the positive lead on too. Injector. Or the connector on the engine.

Since you are testing the component, you put both test leads on the injector pins. If you put it to ground you would probably get a false OL( open loop) reading. And you might end up replacing a good injector.

if it is within spec (180k) is it possible to still be bad injector 8 has a p0284, injector kill test on #8 has no change to idle at all??

@@PowerStrokeTechTalkwARod @Flying Wrenches Hi 👋 guys, my 2014 F350 6.7 XLT past week after making a complete stop while in a red light my truck shuts the engine down, after switching the key off and back to switch ON, (in order to have theFASS low pressure fuel pump go ON) it started back on and worked just fine, the check engine light comes up, after checking it with the scanner it gives me the code P2539 (low pressure fuel system sensor circuit). Days later I went to a complete stop few times at the red lights, I take a look to my Edge CTS3 monitor and it was reading at the Fuel Rail Pressure from 4.0Kpsi to 4.7Kpsi which are the normal readings that I always see in the monitor (since i got the truck) when at idle at Park, when put it in shift it jumps to 5.4Kpsi to 5.9kpsi, so after few red lights I did noticed that the readings wet to 2.8Kpsi, 2.5Kpsi and went off again but no code this time. I went ahead and changed the 2 FASS Diesel pump filters (just run 2,500 miles with them) (Fass pump installed 2 years ago) and the engine diesel fuel filter (2,500 miles too) (Diesel filters changed every 5,000 miles, overkill) I put a brand new VCV, old one DOESN'T have any kind of contamination, debris or metal etc, looking good. It's only fueled at the same big truck stop, it has a S&B 70 Gallons diesel fuel tank installed about 2 years, I always 100% of the time put HotShot's Secret EDT additive in every fill since I have my truck 2.5 years ago. I know for sure that the problem is not a Diesel Quality, VCV, filters or fuel pump. Now, I'm thinking about the fuel rail pressure regulator, fuel pressure sensor. What are your thoughts about my issue? Do you need more info? I'm just trying to have some more info since I don't see anything nowhere specifically about my issue. Any inputs is GREATLY APPRECIATED, thanks in advance
