Maybe not quite in the IBSh ballpark, but boy, do I got a whole list for ya: - Butcher's Creek seems to be something to keep in sights - VHS stylized, Condemned and Manhunt inspired game by none other but David Szymanski. - Divine Frequency, a standalone Doom mod that features psychodelic cosmic biopunk madness, brutal and challenging action with RPG elements. Demo available. - Tenebris Somnia, an argentinian point and click survival horror with NES graphics and very well made live action cutscenes. Demo available. - Zero Protocol, a sci-fi first person survival horror in a classical sense with tight spaces, logic puzzles and limited resources. Feels like it has a bit of Doom 3 DNA. Demo available. - Full Fathom. If Subnautica fully invested into horror, this would be it. A large explorable map, survival elements with resource management and a whole lot of thalassophobia. Demo available. -.45 Parabellum Bloodhound. Ever wanted Parasite Eve but cyberpunk? This is it right here. Not quite horror, not quite survival, but still something to keep an eye on. - Samurai Unicorn. Love letter to 80's and 90's era cyberpunk and anime, this game channels some of that RE 4 tension with reactive enemies and a contextual melee system. - Athanasia. Very similar to Compound Fracture this is too a first person, retro graphics survival horror game featuring dinosaurs but with an immersive sim twist. Demo available.
very cool upload. Added some of these to my wishlist. I must say I find your I.B.S abbreviation funny though. All I can think of is Irritable Bowel Syndrome.
My interest for the remake grew on me after seeing Bloober taking into account the criticism surrounding the visuals. I wish them the best since It's going to influence whether or not the franchise will resurrect with more remakes and future entries.
tower of tears!!! the merchant in that game is so striking imo, it reminded me of the merchant in tunic! I'm with you on Sorry We're Closed too, really strong aesthetic, and even I, an easily frustated complainer, enjoyed the gameplay. Post Trauma looks really cool, I hadn't heard about that one!
I didn't mean to imply that they'd be out before SH2. Just wanted to help ease the pain of waiting by spreading out the hype for some quality looking indie games!
I kno im probably the only one but they really need 2 stop making first person horror games n make more 3rd person horror games first person is not scarry hollow body is a great 3rd person horror game 💯💯💯🎮
I'm a bit nervous about the Silent Hill 2 Remake! because I grew up in the late 80s - 90s I know original old games can NOT be remastered or remade the way they were. There are a lot of red flags on the new SH2 for eg. the guns sound terrible, James does not look like he should, Pyramid head looks wrong and Mary should not be on the front cover. The only remake I liked was the original Resident Evil. Now this is only my opinion but I don't have much hope in SH2 being a good remake for us older gamers.
I have full faith in the remake! All of those previews that came out recently are all very positive. That and everything that bloober has shown besides that combat trailer has been very faithful looking and exciting :')
@@Sputnik34 Well You know I really hope you are right! I would love a good remake because Silent Hill 1,2,3,4 Origins and Homecoming I love those games and Spec Ops The Line is my favorite game. But SH2 is my best SH game so I hope bloober nail it!. Good on you for having good faith bud.
Are there any games that you think i missed? lemme know! Love Your Face, Love Your Show :')
Holstin!
@@ThePrimordialChronicles oh man yeah I should've brought that one yp

Have you played some older classics like The Suffering, Condemned, Dante's Inferno and Pathways Into Darkness just to name a few.

I've been rooting for them since the start. The SH fandom can be brutal

Slitterhead and Silent Hill 2 Remake for me!

10 Horror games to anticipate while anticipating SH2's release. Great video BTW! I didn't know some of these games were announced.
Always look forward to you uploads! Will need to check some of these out for sure

All of these look so good! Silent Hill inspired games have so much potential, and that Dinosaur game looks dope as fuck.
