I played the demo for this last weekend, and I had a lot of fun with it. The premise is quite interesting to me and I really hope it gets more attention ^_^

Thank you for this video. I've never played this game and i started my adventure with silent hill on UA-cam. Unfortunately started off with one of the channels you've alluded to that seems to enjoy being a dick about everything. Without having played the game, i thought they were right, then forgot about all the western versions of the game. Then years later I've seen Homecoming in some other videos and was struck how... actually interesting the plot was? And as you said, pretty similar to SH4. It actually goes back to the lore and the cult and creates something new that fits what we got before. Kinda wish it was remade in some way. (Also, i realized how dickish that channel was when i watched their videos on Twin Peaks. Kinda shocked to see the reaches they made to justify their theories and how confident they were they cracked the code. Kinda funny)

At first, when I played the demo, it was on the One S, the game felt slow, clunky, and overall I feel like it didn’t stand a chance against Bloodborne… but everyone seems to be praising it, so perhaps I need to give it a second chance. And I will, on a newer console.

The slot machine and simplicity part reminded me of one of my guilty pleasure games, Peggle (series). You just aim and watch the ball bounce and collect points. Completely different games (Peggle being much simpler game without much depth in the mechanics, although some multiplier pegs provide a little bit of "strategy") but maybe some similarities in the deeper satisfactory level mentally?

Such an amazing video, you have a great way of articulating how deeply you care about the media that resonated with you & your channel is quickly becoming one of my favourites. I never understood why silent 2 was so loved by so many people but this video made everything crystal clear for me thank you for making this video & also thanks for getting me into Dark souls 2 it is now amoung one of my favourite gaming experieces ever, way better than DS3. Bojack Horseman is my depressed comfort show and I hope i can connect with silent 2 in way similar way.

I love how incredibly horny and wholesome the game is. SPOILERS I love how Darrell is doing everything he could to keep Oakley safe because he loves them, and that is also what Michelle can abuse to potentially cause Darrell's downfall. It's really about love. While silent hill was about mental anguish, SWC is about social support (and maybe love for self?)

Thank you indie devs for picking up the slack recent Triple A games are just failing at. I've had this on my watch list debating on playing it not but I might pass. It's not because it's about gay characters, ally for life, first person pov makes me sick after awhile. I can play them but after I'm queasy and nursing a headache. But it looks gorgeous and the story I've seen is lusty but precious.

The trailer got my attention because looks a lot like Jojo. But now im actually invested.

The Souls genre is a mixed bag for me personally...I initially hated the original Demon's Souls, but after re-playing it clicked with me and I loved the concept, though with mixed results. I liked Dark Souls & even Dark Souls 2, but both were a mixed bag. I like DS3 the most. Loved Bloodborne & it is my favorite of the genre. But Elden Ring just didn't click for me (for a number of reasons. I've played nearly all the Souls clones, with mixed results. I like Lies of P & Nioh, but despise the rest. Sekiro is another mixed bag, where I like aspects of it but hate others. I really like the genre as a whole, but too many of them feel cheap when it comes to difficulty. Too many poison swamps that are overly tedious, bosses that feel too cheap in terms of difficulty, terrible boss designs, mechanics that feel out of place, and I could go on & on. As it stands now, I can still re-play Bloodborne, Dark Souls 3 & Nioh. But I get so bored with all others, including the Demon's Souls Remake. Also, I didn't like Lies of P initially. I just didn't like fighting the puppets. But when it introduced the infected & eventually infected puppets, I thought it was a nice touch that added much needed diversity while re-using assets. It was a good balance that felt more diverse.

as someone who's favorite game in recent years by FAR is lunacid, with an honorable mention to dread delusion (huge fan of akuma kira), this is definitely right up my alley. lunacid and dread delusion both will stick with me for a long time, and i look forward to trying out this game since it had the same impact on you!!

wait, there is a second gay Silent-Hill? i thought this title was reserved for Signalis. jokes asides, the environnements looks like Catherine if instead of being a weird platformer puzzle-game, it was a survival-horror TPS.
