My heart has been hardened ever since I started backsliding. I’m not sure if I will ever get back to the way I was when I was first saved. Please pray for my heart to be restored and redeemed if can. Thank you

I had hard heart prayed hard to get rid of it and god healed my hard heart it’s not easy I had to get my heart very broken to heal it I had witness my support dog get killed and I carried his body home I was crying tears I turned to god with my pain I cried out .My chest heart for two days I got the fire of the lord back

Please pray for me I have a harden heart of unforgivness and have anger, rebellion, disobedience against God and sin it’s hard for me to get over anger.
I am speaking from experience and my current situation. I ran from my calling and sinned and rebelled against God. I was sent into captivity, God never leaves, just like He never left Isreal when he allowed them to be captives because of their sin. There is unconfessed sin in our lives, we have become cold and insensitive to Holy Spirit, our faith in Jesus has diminished. While you are in this state, this captivity, study the prophets who preached to Isreal and Judah in their sin, in their exile and afterward. Keep pressing on, leave everything, cut all that may hinder you off. Cry out to God day and night. I'm still trying to figure out how I got here, and how to get back, but I know hopelessness CAN NOT be my mindset. Neither can FEAR. I'm learning about deliverance and faith, how to just DIG DEEP and keep trusting God will deliver me and guide me and grant me repentance. Please pray for me and others that are going through this.

Pride disobedience and resisting the holy spirit, until God leaves you to yourself which is a hardened heart or reprobate if you will.

I think my heart has hardened because I don’t feel conviction anymore. I don’t wanna be like this and I hope god softens my heart and gives me another chance to fight the sins I struggle with. I’ll continue to pray and read some of the word

I need lots of prayers for what I’m going through. My heart does not feel conviction or fear of god and I want to feel conviction but my heart physically feels like stone. I’ve even cried several times and prayed asked for forgiveness but I still feel no conviction or godly sorrow in my heart. its not just forgiveness that you need to ask for but rather asking Jesus into your heart to being about a change to transform you into the man he would have you be, to ask him to make you into the example that he set forth when he was on this earth. ask him to give you the new desires that are brought about in the change when you are born again. ask him to be in your heart with you always and guide your decisions. you have to place the faith in him and GOD that even when you are broke and cant pay your bills that a way will be provided and be patient and faithful that it will be so. asking Jesus into your life isnt just a step you have to take but a commitment that you are now trusting that when you are riding in this car of life that Jesus is driving you even though you have no idea where you are being taken. faith is the first step to getting right but Jesus is the way of it. ask for wisdom and clarity over his word that you will be able to discern the things that are of GOD and the things that are not of GOD and shun the things from your life that arent of GOD. the life of a christian isnt easy nor is it going to be fun dealing with people who will persecute you but know that there is nothing on this earth that is as grand and pure as the love and mercy of our father in heaven. i hope that this will help you in some way. one more thing to note is that you need to start reading the bible but before you start everytime you need to ask that GOD will grant you the clarity and wisdom over it as long as it is in accordance to his will. i think that going to GOD with submissiveness to his will and know that it is HIS will to be done and not your own.

@@LR354- yes actually I have been forgiven and I feel the presence of the Holy Spirit again but I’m still healing. It’s possible through faith in Jesus and repentance. You gotta keep seeking the Lord’s face diligently and pray about it and trust he will begin to heal you and be very patient because the healing process takes time. Hope this helps you🙏
This morning, before I wrote this, it literally hurt to read His scriptures.
It shocked me so much I don't wanna read anymore or associate with Jesus Christ anymore, but I also just can NOT let him go because, in my mind, doing so would make me another Judas Iscariot. I don't wanna let him go.
Now, God did tell me one day through his word to stop doubting my salvation, so I'm assured (even if just a little) I'm born again, it's just that I don't want reading his word to be a fight.
I'm getting tired of this hardness, though. Its hurting my family and its hurting me.

I struggle with anger toward God because of my overwhelming troubles, and I pray constantly for forgiveness and for help to stop hardening my heart toward Him. This feels way beyond my ability to control. But God says I can do all things through Him who strengthens me. I believe Him because God is faithful. He's so merciful too because he hasn't thrown me into hell yet after my shameful living before I turned to Him or because of my anger problem now.
I have hardened my heart and seared my conscience, and I just don’t even want to read the Word most times and sometimes before I start reading it even feels like I start to resent it I have never liked reading, but still I am worried and I don’t want to backslide again or anymore and I want my relationship with the Lord restored, and I want the fire of the Lord to be a raging inferno in me, please pray for me 😊🙏

my heart has been hard for a year i don’t feel conviction anymore i deal with sinning a lot and falling into temptation but i’m trying my hardest after that i stopped having a relationship with God for months i came back to God this following week and my heart is still hard and it’s like i’m 10 times worst as before before my heart was hard i was reading my bible a lot and praying i had a lot of joy and wonderful relationships with God but til he started instructing me to do stuff ive rebelled repeatedly because i was scared

I have been hearing more and more people discuss and wonder about whether or not the United States and the Western general has had its hearts hard and toward God. It certainly feels as such, but my hope comes from the Lord and well I know only he can change hearts, it is still up to, anyone who claims to believe in the Lord Jesus Christ to continue to walk in his liked and truth.

I’ll pray for you !! Anger happens, it’s part of our fallen nature. But anger can be a gift in that it reminds us that we are sinful creatures and that we need to repent and stay humble. God uses what was meant for evil and turns it for good. Take the anger that would otherwise cause you stumble and harden your heart and see it as an opportunity to turn to God! Pray to Him that he may heal your heart, request that the Holy Spirit reside in your heart so that you can glorify God. I will also keep you in my prayers !

to anyone who is in this comment thread let me assure you that it isnt difficult to return to Jesus at all, the difficult part that you think is the return is actually pride in yourself that you think that you arent able to because of something that has happened in your life. Jesus is always there waiting for you to return to him and the way you do that is through prayer. Jesus said that "I am the way, the light, and the truth and no one shall come to the father except through me" . we need to go to Jesus and ask for him to forgive us for our transgressions against him and others and ask that we be cleansed free of guilt and sin. when you pray then you should pray with all sincerity that you desire the change that he can bring into your life and welcome it as the blessing that it is for the holy ghost to be returned to you to guide you through Jesus to GOD.

Reading all of the comments here from born again Christians how you fear your heart has been hardened and want to feel that pull from Jesus again scares someone like me. I am not saved yet and have a hardened heart from years and years of the sin of pornography. I am trying to find a way to trust in and fully come to Christ.
