@@SoliDeoGloria32 God gives us free will. We have chosen to abuse, and to abandon God’s love out of our own selfish greed, and selfishness. We have our own selfish desires. We have chosen to go our own separate ways from God therefore we sin. We parted from God after God warned Adam & Eve not to eat the apple which Satan tempted them to eat the forbidden fruit. This is where World Peace fell from grace. The Bible says that The World was once perfect until Adam & Eve came. The Devil tempted them. This is not a very good example, and I’m not saying that this what The World was like, and I’m not saying that The World was Tiger Woods. But remember when Tiger Woods was this young shining star we all thought was not only what he was but also a good person like in 1997 when he was at The Las Vegas Invitational as this young bright kid with not only a bright future but who was a great human we thought also after he went on “The Mike Douglas Show” as a child prodigy, and everything else he won all these Golf Tournaments? We all thought that Tiger Woods was a role model. We all looked up to Tiger not knowing that he was not a good guy inside. We were all witnessing history he was like every Golfer today who wins today like Cameron Smith, Will Zalatoris, Matthews Fitzpatrick, Jordan Spieth, and even Rory McIlroy combined as Tiger fell from grace in November of 2009 when he started to cheat on his wives like Elin Nordegren, and his wrecks, his DUI, his car accidents, etc.? Well, I know that is not a very good example, and I’m not saying that The World fell from grace like Tiger Woods fell from grace, and I am not saying that The World is Tiger Woods but humans messed up after The Garden of Eden. Greed is the 3rd deadly sin. Blaming others is also a sin. We want material things like our own houses, our own clients, our own time, our own hobbies, and our own interests for money in the World of Wall Street in New York for example we exploit war, and crimes, and we exploit drugs, etc. This is exactly The reason that Vladamir Putin wants Ukraine to be on the map of Russia is because he is selfish he has a Kremlin out of his own greed. Power also equals greed. Greed is why Xi Jinping wanted COVID to be what it was the global pandemic which locked us all in in 2020 killing millions, and sickening us all a year later. Greed is why Osama bin Laden’s Al Qaeda Islamic terrorists from Afghanistan snuck in here to train, and hijacked two planes into The World Trade Center in New York City killing 3,000 Americans on 9/11 from Boston Logan to LAX when they attacked our Country in September of 2001. This is why Derek Chauvin the bad cop killed George Floyd. This is also why Trump incited the insurrection on January 6. This is why Roe v Wade was overturned last month. Greed is why politics exist. Greed is why communism, mental illness, conspiracy theories, gun violence, war, crime, racism, robberies, drugs, abortion, pride parades, etc. all exists. I am not here to blame others but I will say it is not hard to not blame others. I believe that Satan or The Devil is the origin of all this. And I am not just saying that. I was in Lee Harvey Oswald’s house the other day in Dallas, Texas, and I believe that he killed JFK that day in November 1963 because he, too, was greedy. It truly was an eye-opener. Look at Sesame Place the other day when Rosita was racist towards that little girl child that happened to be African-American. Look at Buffalo, Uvalde, and Highland Park. Those shooters. The Devil invented greed. Satan is the cause of everything I said. This is why John Lennon wrote Imagine. The only way out of greed is through Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. If you ask him to forgive you of your sins 90% of the time he will forgive you. Because he knows we are not perfect. He knows that we are all going to make mistakes. Jesus understands that we will never be perfect. We have to repent. But the thing that even The Bible says is that Jesus knows that we are not perfect as hard as we try we are all human. We all make mistakes. It’s intentionally being greedy that Jesus does not accept. Jesus does not accept humans who are greedy to break the Ten Commandments of The Holy Bible intentionally their whole lives those who do unless they turn to God will not be rewarded to Heaven when they die they will go to Hell.
I was crying earlier in prayer and after that still there were continuous bad thoughts in my mind about something and I was questioning god, this is so confusing. I don’t want to stay like that, I want to change this is too much. And then god made up in my mind to search for it and Your first line gave me peace that if we all are going to do what god wants on his own but not by ourselves we will not have any personal relationship with god what is the point if god is making our relationship smooth and perfect on his own everytime. Then we are dolls playing together. I got the answer. Thank you ! Thankyou JESUS!
I really needed to hear this because I got so angry at God after seeing what Hamas did to innocent people, specifically children. I was really fussing with God and telling him that his world suck and that he should have lived in it by himself and not bring innocent human beings into it. But now that I've seen this video, I'm realized that God's world was perfect until he introduced us to it. We are the ones who turned his world into complete chaos. I so appreciate this video. I owe God an apology. Thanks again for your great insight.
Which means God was the one who intentionally made imperfect human beings that he knew were going to screw up his perfect world and cause horrific suffering to each other, and he went ahead and did it anyway. You still think you're the one who owes an apology? Oh, and please tell me how human beings are responsible for earthquakes, tsunamis, and malaria.
@@scotte4765 God created perfect people capable of making themselves imperfect due to their own volition. Also, the Bible teaches that when Adam and Eve disobeyed God, it brought sin and suffering into the world, which includes natural disasters affecting the natural world.
@@angladechildren4105 Having the capability of degrading yourself from perfect to imperfect is itself an imperfection. Is God capable of making himself imperfect through his own volition? That nonsense statement is spread by liars. That's what people constantly do - they enjoy good things because these things feel good. No contrast necessary.
This question is one of the main reasons I'm questioning my belief system over the past two or three years. If God is so loving and REALLY wants what is best for all His creation, why are there kids being abused. Why are infants dying of SIDS. Why are young adults becoming so miserable they're killing themselves. Why has there been a global pandemic. For that matter, why is death even a thing. I have already made the decision not to have a child, because I don't want them to have to live in this world. It's too dangerous, confusing, stupid, sick and cruel. I do not want them to have to experience death. If God is omniscient, and knew that we would eventually sin and have to experience death and all this additional suffering in our lives, isn't forcing us to go through all of it kinda cruel? ...idk. Maybe He thinks it's worth it, for the relationships he does get to have. Maybe it's just the INTJ in me who's like, 'hm, this could've been done better..."
Exactly the existential crisis I’m having myself at the moment. When the grand scheme of our existence is filtered through the lens of logic nothing makes sense.
to many of your points I think the fact that sin exist explains most of these. Its mans sin that makes the world feel so bad that people want to die. Its the sin of those parents that leads to these children being abused. It goes back to the aspect of free will. We all have the right and ability to choose between good and evil. I think the video does a good job explaining the free will aspect. I struggle to understand why God lets things happen when it comes to the natural world like cancer and disease. Hope my perspective is helpful
God's ways are not our ways God sees what we can't see and even though something's seem unfair remember that God knew us before we were formed in our mothers womb , some children suffer because the sins of the father go to the children, or some children might grow up to be really evil and hurt people ,therefore God allows them to die in infancy reason being God has a covering of protection over the mother and won't allow her to be killed by her own son , or God allowed souls to experience short life's recarnation , some souls ask God for these kinds of experiences mostly for karmic reasons , let's all agree that God has a special way of doing things ♥️♥️♥️♥️
Everyone must first endure there personal fire before God gives you the blessing. It is the only way God can make you new in a world full of powerful demons. Endure the pain and keep the faith. Do this and God will save you!
I have had asked this question when I was young thinking we are all holy and very perfect but all of us sinful in one way or the other, then a world filled with sinful people will always be EVIL, we are the ones who are to take the responsibility, God made everything to be good. It is all our making, stop blaming God and take responsibility for all the wrong things we and mankind has done all along. God is just patient trying to get some good out of us and save us.
@@ib961 God created the parents to protect and take care of their children. You keep on asking questions but at the end of the day, it is all our making. Stop blaming God for the mistake we do.
Actually, it is more of what God can’t allow himself to do and it is also the answer for the question of why does God let bad things happen. Many would readily and vehemently disagree, but God does not have an actual plan for the world. What he does have is hope for the world through his endowment of free will. God does not know the future, but he does know the infinite number of possibilities required for his gamble on ‘free will’ to succeed. Interfering with that would alter the delicate balance of the human condition equivalent of the ‘Goldilocks Effect’.
The God you describe is much more plausible than the all-knowing and all-powerful one usually cited by Christians, but it ends being not far off from the God of deism, who just wound up the world and then let it run. As it becomes more believable, it becomes less relevant to anything we do. Why worship or pray to a God whose only course of action is to sit back, do nothing, and hope for the best?
@@scotte4765- Worship and prayer are religious functions, not Godly ones. In fact, none of the Ten Commandments says anything about either of them. The only way to worship God is to network every day, prepared to be the answer to the problems of others. I am struggling To get through twenty ounces of chicken livers I got from Kroger for $.20. Take care, and volunteer me for anything.
I get it , bad things are allowed to happen , but unfortunately many are horrific crimes against children ,thats to much free will , if i had the power i wouldn't allow any of that to happen
It is because God does not intervene in every action commited. while he does intervene sometimes even in the bible God is silent on certain situations. that does not mean he supports it though
@@snopespeerreview true,God was silent for hundreds of years until Jesus came. And at the same time, look at this example. World war 2 happened because of humanity’s sin, but, in the end the Jewish people went back to the Jewish homeland (a biblical prophecy fulfilled)
Good point. Which sins should God intervene? We all sin.. we pick and choose what we think are the greater sins. In scripture, liers go to hell. We have ALL lied. Again, we all sin and fall short of His Glory. We are not a better person because we dont think we commit the sin we think is greater. Our unrighteousness shows us His rightousness. He is righteous. We are the sinners.
Thank you for actually answering the question and making a video with real substance thats backed up with logical sense and biblical scripture so many people make a video and its just a bunch of mess with loud choir music.
Any Christians to answer these questions 1 .why was the fruit there in the first place? Why place something that you know will bring suffering to billions of people for thousands of years...why place it near human beings? 2. God knows everything He knows the future. So when He created Adam and Eve He knew they were going to sin. Why do it anyways? 3. The whole sin doctrine is complex I wasnt there when they ate Why must I be punished for the sins of the father? 4. Adam and Eve did not know what evil was if you go back to Genesis. So if they could not comprehend it so did they sin? Then we go back to question 1 and 2. Why was it there and since He knew what would happen why would He let it? Knowing fully well that children later on would be born with cancer and other terrible terminal illnesses. Knowing fully well that we would die in wars and starve ourselves to death. 5. Bonus question. God had free will yet He does not sin. Why not do the same for us? Please do not quote free will as the answer. Walk into a child cancer centre and tell me whose free will got them there. Go to a shelter for the disabled people or terminally ill people and tell me whose free will it is Go to Tornado survivors and tell me whose free will caused it 6. What is the purpose of prayer? No really. I guarantee you that most Jews in the gas chambers were calling unto the Lord to save them. Just before they were suffocated to death. God has intervened in both the Old and New testament to save His people. Why not then? I prayed for my brother to live. He died. Someone else prayed for their sibling to live They lived. What is the purpose of prayer?? God bless you all
Actually same question arise from me too. I was really an Atheist and asking this also mocking Christians or religious people for this. However, Atheism sadly does not answer the suffering in the world instead it creates nihilism in me. Instead, I chose to go back to God and just trust in the name of Him. Having faith makes me better there is a beautiful future or after life. I just confuse and I don't know, but atleast suffering with faith is better than suffering without any faith of purpose. I did not answer your questions but just wanna share my world view right now.
@@justinchris4433 As long as you are honest about the fact that you are believing these things ONLY because they make you feel better and not because they make sense or are supported by evidence, since they don't and are not. But if that's what gets you through the day and makes you a better person, and you don't try to make others think that way too, go for it. Too many Christians won't admit that they are just believing what makes them feel better and instead try to pretend that all their bad arguments are actually great and the non-believers questioning them are all just assholes who hate God.
Why do men allow evil to exist ? How could men in positions to make a difference allow evil to carry on? Even as this very evil is threatening their own existence livelihood and families neighbors.
Because people (please say 'people' instead of 'men') are naturally imperfect and subject to corruption - including those in positions of power. I don't like it, but I understand it, I get it. However, that's not the issue here. The issue is why does God, who is supposedly perfect and all good and all powerful and without human limitation, allow evil, pain and suffering? And your comment ignores the pain and suffering in the world that it is outside of human abilities to control - even for those in positions of power. For example, natural disasters and diseases that we haven't been able to cure despite the best human efforts. Where is God in those things?
I always thought it was god was testing the resolve of humanity giving them a choice to either succumb to the cruelty of the world and do evil or choice to be good in spite of it
An all-knowing God would not need such a test. And if the only reason to have cruelty in the world is to see if you will succumb to the cruelty of the world, then the test is pointless anyway. That's like me jabbing you with a hot poker to find out if you can handle being jabbed with a hot poker. Why bother?
@@arnsnicklefritz9634 I have no idea what you mean by that. "Free will" is not a satisfying answer to why God allows suffering. For starters, much suffering isn't caused by acts of free will in the first place.

This is a fair explanation for the perpetrators of evil but not for the victims. For example, to say that God can prevent evil but allows humans to choose between good and evil, is a reasonable explanation for the rapist and murderer of a young child, but a miserable explanation from the perspective of the child victim. The view that God has given extended time to humanity before judgement, to allow humans more time to repent, is a straw man. According to Christian doctrine, every person has one lifetime. God can give humans another 100,000 years of existence before He judges humanity. This doesn't change the fact that each person has a set amount of years to live. This is therefore an equivocation fallacy, confusing a single human life with humanity. The two are not the same. It doesn't matter how many years humanity continues to exist, every human still only has a brief lifetime to presumably 'repent'. And if we return back to the example of the murdered child, the opportunity to repent is diminished to a very short time. Such doctrinal generalisations also fray at the periphery of human society. Does a Down's Syndrome individual have a chance of salvation? What about the cognitively impaired or those that are medically so ill from childbirth that the world is a complete jumble? What about those in comas or those who die in childbirth? We never think about their salvation when we sermonise these feel-good narratives.
Demons have choice too, granted they already know where they're going. I will say, in Christ you have protection against them, their attacks dont have to work bmt
I used to believe this.....then bad shit kept happening. And continues to happen. Everyone around me dying. Young, great people, dead. God would not allow for that shit to happen
Romans 8:18 TPT - I am convinced that any suffering we endure is less than nothing compared to the magnitude of glory that is about to be unveiled within us.
@Nick1994H that's one translation. Another translation says that it comes from God directly. But either way, God lives within us all, so either way, they mean God. I'm not a Preacher nor pastor nor any form of teacher or head of church. I'm working on my own faith i just want to make that clear. God punishes false teachers. I don't want to be a false teacher. You should do your own research and give it a chance. I think we should all give religion, specifically Christianity, a chance because if their is no God, this life does not matter, and good and evil does not exist.
That’s is an excellent question and it actually have an answer. Imagine that you have a friend that you know him so well that you will know what his reactions to your actions are. You can tell somebody else “ I am going to make this decision but this is going to make Johnny mad and he will scream and fight”. With that analogy it might be better to understand what God meant. God knew pharaohs heart and he knows our heart. So he only stated to Moses that he will harden pharaohs heart by knowing how pharaoh will react to God’s intervention in the life of the Israelites. Therefore his heart was harden by God’s actions not by God making him think in a specific way.
So my son, who was a perfectly healthy 3 yr old caught and cold and became paralyzed, it is because he had free will? What evils has he committed? Or it is because I sinned so he is being punished to teach me a lesson?
The carnal mind can’t comprehend the mind of a sovereign infinite mind. We see just our immediate situation but we don’t see several degrees removed. Your son’s soul and salvation is more important than his temporary life, his situation could cause you to seek the lord . The lord’s will could include healing or not, your faith in him and his intervention in your situation could change . In the end God is sovereign, in Jeremiah 29:11 says his plans are for good and not evil. Trust that this is the better outcome for salvation out of millions of possibilities. Wait until we leave this dimension and into God’s presence and we will understand
A few problems. We don't have free will anyway if an all knowing all powerful God exists. If God is all knowing and created us, then everything we do is in accordance with how he saw it. And if he could interfere but doesn't, that too is his will, not ours. What is the value of free will if it basically guarantees awful things will happen? "There would be no meaningful relationships between him and his creation." What do you mean by meaningful? God made Adam and Eve without a knowledge of what is good and evil, and they only made the decision to eat from it under the influence of that ignorance. If you didn't know it was evil to eat the fruit how can you be held morally accountable for doing it? Adam and Eve did not "choose" to disobey in any real sense. God made us without free will. The serpent in the Garden gave us free will. Let's assume a mugger. Your free will of getting to keep your belongings is being infringed by the mugger. If God intervened, he would be violating the free will of the mugger. Either way someone's free will is being violated here. By doing nothing God is valuing the free will of the mugger more, isn't he? "God would have to remove us all." Which to me is a very good indication that sin is a little pear shaped a standard. Like, isn't it weird we're being punished for the free will god knew we would have? I'm curious about how this philosophy of God allowing free will and thus evil, is squared with prayer for God to intervene in a situation? "We are all born with a sinful nature." Which God let us have. "He is purposefully delaying in order to allow more people to repent." This assumes that more people are becoming Christian right? That doesn't seem to square properly with rates of religiosity in newer generations going down, and both Islamic and atheistic tendencies growing faster than Christianity. "It is God's desire that we would be with him." If it was then how is it possible for us not to be? He's all knowing and all powerful. Doesn't that mean if he really could have a desire, that it would happen? "God does restrain some acts of evil, this world would be much worse if it were not for God restraining evil." Wait then he does violate free will sometimes? I can't help but feel like this is double think. God doesn't interfere with free will, but he does sometimes in this vague way.
I wanted to rebut but instead let me just say...My guy, our God loves us, He wants what is good for you and He wants to be with you. We may not understand His ways because we're just people, even our logic has limits, but He is always ready to give what you ask, but you have to be patient, hopeful, and ready to receive what you ask for. It's good that you're looking for the truth. I pray and hope you experience His love. I felt a drop of it and I just understood that He is too great and awesome to understand. I became more willing to suffer through in this world full of God's enemies after that (The enemy is also a factor for a lot of evil in the world). Even remembering it makes all my doubts, fears, and questions disappear because I just trust Him now. Shalom!
@@Azaryahu I appreciate that God is someone who has given you comfort in this life. It makes me happy to hear that you are well, and I hope your faith remains strong. If you lose it, I hope you have the strength to continue. At the same time, I find it hard to square an all-knowing God who loves me with other concepts like free will, and the existence of evil. God knew how everything would be before He even made the universe. He knew the Earth would exist, the laws of the universe that would govern it, what I am going to have for breakfast June 19, 2022. How can anything not be according to the plans of a God like that? How can any choice we make, be the product of us exerting free will but instead a far off consequence of the very first inciting incident of the universe? Thus, incited by an all knowing God who knew I would be an atheist if He made the universe this way, but chose to make it that way anyway. In this same way, evil is the will of God. I can appreciate that a sobering look isn't always the best way to go about things and it's important to be something of a dreamer, but logic and the scientific method are the only tools we have to reliably find out things that are likely to be true. I don't find the notion that giving myself over to confirmation bias as a necessary step to believing in Him, a compelling one. Again, I am very happy you found comfort in God's grace. Any degree of happiness you can find in this world is beautiful and I would never take that away from you, but for me, it's just not something I find myself capable of doing. I find I'm justified in that position at least.
I think only those who aren’t indoctrinated will catch all of the points you made. To completely ignore reason and logic (The two necessary ingredients for sanity). Maybe the only way some folks can cope with life on Earth 🌎. Unfortunately I’m in this shithole with the rest of humanity. My heart goes out to all living beings suffering here. Atheist and theists alike.
The question is why do people who are claiming to be of the law are allowing the greater evils to happen? If Angel is assigned or signs up to be an Angel as angel he knows he has obligations it must fulfill and attend to that's obligated.
Sin is evil. ALL have sinned. Man's heart is evil. Getting rid of evil means getting rid of everyone and sending them to hell. People neglect their own evil but want God to do something about other people's evil. God allows evil so he could send his son to save evil sinners from the judgement they deserve and give them grace they do not deserve. It's about the glory of God.
Hello, God does not give us permission to sin, otherwise He would not judge it at the Judgement Seat. No sin has God's permission, and all sin is to be judged. Adam and Eve were driven out after the very first mischief; this really shows how holy God is. This question is actually a word play; God never permits any sin, but He allows ALL OF US the sinners to stay on this earth for a while so that we can repent. He delays punishment in His mercy in hope that we will repent of our sins, since He placed all punishment on Jesus on the Cross. If I go to the judgment through Jesus, He will give an account for my sins; if I choose to reject Jesus eternally, I will have to give an account for my own sins, and I will not be able, since I won't be able to cancel any of them.
Every excuse made for God in this video has been offered and refuted many times before. 1. Christian claims about an eternal evil-free existence in Heaven refute the free will excuse. Christians almost universally believe Heaven will be free of evil of any kind. If this will be done by restricting our free will (i.e., taking away our inclination or desire to do evil), then you can't say God values free will, and he could go ahead and restrict it now. If this will be done, somehow, by allowing full free will (we can still choose evil but for some reason never will), then God could prevent evil now and still allow free will. 2. "Where does God stop?" E.g., should God just prevent murder or also prevent fist fights? This is a slippery slope fallacy, implying that God is incapable of finding a healthy middle ground where the worst evils are prevented but lesser ones are allowed for us to learn and grow. Human parents successfully find this balance all the time. Why shouldn't an infinitely wise being also be able to do so? As it stands, God does NOTHING. Do Christians really think God is so stupid that his only options are total control or total anarchy? Let's see him just give us the formula for a cheap and effective malaria vaccine and then we can willingly debate whether he should do more. It's as flimsy and unconvincing as the claim that God hates the loss of life caused by abortions. Let's see all the involuntary and tragic miscarriages miraculously stop first and then we might start to believe that. (edit: not pushing for or against abortion here, only the idea that God hates it happening) 3. Inherited sinful nature from Adam and Eve. You can't call someone just who judges a person for unknowingly and involuntarily inheriting a trait caused by someone else. Nothing more to say on that. 4. Suffering caused by accidents, diseases, or other natural events could be prevented without interfering with anyone's choices. Is God waiting for hurricanes and earthquakes to repent, and that's why he lets them ravage humanity? Silly. 5. "God does restrain some acts of evil and the world would be much worse if he hadn't." There is not only no evidence for this, but it completely contradicts the previous arguments about why God allows people to commit evil. Exactly which evil is he restraining and how does he do it without violating anyone's free will? Bad arguments all around, and it would not have taken long to look up any of these refutations and rethink them before putting these endlessly repeated excuses out. They're not convincing to any honest thinker, or at least they shouldn't be.
It free will but what if he theirs was no evil only good n everybody love each other n get along n don't kill or take others things n be cared to each others but we can do everything we want
I wonder if Adam and Eve were so reprehensible in their innocence that it was worth the suffering of Christ and all creation for God to set up their fall.
Biblically speaking natural disasters are just a way to remind creation that this world is not the way God originally interned. There is moral evil caused by human actions and natural evil like natural disasters.
He didn't create the horrible world humans did with their free will. God says the suffering we go through here won't compare to the Glory of Heaven. Remember, God sacrificed his only son so we can be saved. Look at everything Jesus went through. The world is the Devil Playground, but soon, he will get what is coming to him. I don't think you want to die yet, so you still see beauty in God creation. God wants us to be with in Heavan, but we need to genuinely love him because he is a fair God. We need to humble ourselves and follow Jesus to the father.
@adammiller6747 No one would choose to suffer, and without suffering, no one would even feel the need to worship God. Allowing suffering shows where a person heart resides. If a person made someone suffer, that person can either choose to ask for forgiveness, seeing how it affected someone or continue committing atrocities and potentially going to Hell.

@@scotte4765 I dont think I did. Since I was only commenting the quote, not the all video. But even if I did, I think the answer would be: shall we blame God when a hurricane kills people? no. life happens, a force of nature happened, life is still life even with God. and humans are a force of nature. therefore, victims are simply casualties of nature that was programmed by God. death comes for us all. so, its not how long we live but what we do with that time
You spoke about sin, and man’s behavior, but not once did I hear you mention anything about cancer. Parkinson’s. Deformities at birth. Dementia. Mental illness, Walk into a child’s cancer ward and tell me it’s because they chose to sin is the reason for thier suffering and eventual demise. Suffering that came to millions and millions through no fault of their own, you seem to have left a whole lot out. I’d love to hear you address The pain and suffering of innocent people, who were inflicted by countless maladies through not part of their own sin or behavior. This video said nothing to me.
The big problem with this video is that it dishonestly attributes all pain and suffering to human actions and choices while blatantly ignoring the pain, suffering and death caused by natural events outside of human control and will, such as diseases, natural disasters and so on. Yeah, OK, I get it. We have free will. And when we misuse that free will, there are consequences for ourselves and others. But the free will argument is limited to explaining only the pain and suffering caused by human actions and will. Pain, suffering and death ('evil' might not be the best term in the case) exist in the natural world and in the animal kingdom way outside of human control and even before humans existed. There has been pain and suffering in the world ever since there has been living and sentient creatures - millions of years before humans. And while I accept that we have free will and responsibility, this free will can be limited. The waters are further muddied by issues around 'diminished responsibility’ - that is, when people have some sort of mental illness where they are not in control of their actions. I’m totally over the ‘free will’ argument.
Sin has physical and spiritual consequence i.e the spiritual death and the physical death (hell) for instance. Sickness disasters etc are all a result of the fallen nature of this planet as a result of the sin here. Even the creation groans for Christs return where it will be remade in glory. So, nothing is diconnected from anything in that sense. Also, humans don't always receive the consequence of their own sin, thats why its so wicked. Because everyone is dragged with it. But its what happens when life (God) is rejected for death (sin, satan, flesh) etc. Everything is ruined, thats why Jesus came. To take our actions out of it because thats what caused the problem in the first place. And to make everything as it should be. Amongst other things im sure God didnt explain its not our business
@@annansubuga8307 Like this video, your arguments fail.. First off, as I said in my initial comment, pain, death and suffering have been in the world long before humans existed. There has always been natural disasters. You cannot blame humans or human sin for things that have been around long before us. There is no good reason to believe that there ever was some kind of perfect world that fell. Also, you have no evidence linking human sin to events outside of our control, such as natural disasters. You can link human sin to things like crime, wars, injustices and such, but not things like diseases, tornadoes, earthquakes, droughts, wildfires caused by lightning, savage predators killing humans and other animals etc. In some cases you may be able to link certain diseases to human activity or poor lifestyles choices. You can also link increases in the occurrence of natural disasters to climate change caused by human activity motivated by greed and disregard for the environment. But beyond that, sin doesn't explain natural suffering. And if you're going to say that humans have the power to change the nature of the way the world is, then you're ascribing superhuman, almost god-like powers to the human race.
@@bdave2049 im responding from the biblical worldview, ill be honest i haven't really read ur response or finished the video . God created humans BTW why the hell he blamed peoples for not praising him anymore?? Becuz God do nothing about this killers and abuser but blamed people who don't praise or love him ... He even accept killers and if the victim of this killer a aithest God will throw them into hell
There's no satisfactory answer to this question, despite how hard some very brilliant minds throughout history have tried. One argument here is quite weak... if God made Adam and Eve innocent but with the ability to choose... this doesn't work because before taking of the fruit they didn't have knowledge of what good and evil even were. So how could they know that it was wrong to disobey? The choice isn't a moral choice because they don't have this knowledge yet. It only came afterwards, and naturally, by that point it's too late.
What do you mean by satisfactory? There is a very obvious, easy, and logically coherent answer to this question that is well supported by the evidence of our experience: an all-loving and all-powerful god does not exist. Many religious believers, however, simply don't _like_ this answer because of how invested they are in believing in such a god. So in that respect you could say it is not a satisfactory answer, but only because it's not what you wanted to hear.
@@scotte4765 By "satisfactory" I mean an answer that solves the three-part conundrum of all good, all powerful, and all knowing co-existing yet evil still being allowed. What I want is very much secondary. The free will argument is one attempt but it has its problems, and anything (else) based on religious doctrine will have big problems as well. I have not heard an answer that reconciles all this, and thus have not heard a satisfactory answer, though usually I have this argument with theists not atheists. If, as you posit, there is no god at all, then it's not much of a problem.
@@johnalexir7634 Thanks for your response. I agree with you in never having heard an answer that meets all the requirements you list, and would even add that the free will argument is in fact riddled with problems and is thus a terrible response that is only noteworthy for its baffling popularity. I still have to wonder, however, why an explanation for evil must still include the existence of such a god in order to be satisfactory. If we just want the best supported and most consistent explanation for evil as we commonly define it, whatever that explanation may be, then drop the requirement for the tri-omni god and we have it, or can at least proceed to lay out the various naturalistic causes of evil without hitting some divine contradiction. If your own desires are secondary, then this should be a satisfactory answer, no? Because I can't think of any reason to keep the requirement for a tri-omni god except that you/we are emotionally invested in believing one exists. But perhaps you simply meant "no satisfactory answer for theists who want to keep this God in charge of the universe," in which case I agree.
They keep saying " why does God allow us to do evil things ? " but that question stops popping up when they masturbate, have premarital sex or smoke/drink/party all the time and do drugs.
3. You have absolutely no idea how bad life can be. Instead of judging people ,ask yourself how He could allow a woman to be raped for years while being held hostage. She had 2 miscarriages and proceeded to give birth in that situation. Was she being tested??? For years,?? Was that the excellent free will?? He raped her and she prayed everyday to be saved
What about the holocaust victims? When they were suffocating in gas chambers they were praying to their God. Even if the entire world stopped masturbating at that point they were still going to die
Sometimes I do feel that God doesn't care what we want, which is for innocents to be spared and evil people to be punished. Said tyrants deserve one of several kinds of punishments: - being hanged; - having their heads chopped off; - being with their limbs chained thrown in the sea and having the life squeezed out of them by giant octopi; - being tossed into a deep dark pit and torn to shreds by rabid Cerberus clones; - being thrown into a lion's den and having the lions jump on them and crush all their bones; - getting their limbs ripped off on a torture rack; - being scorched by fire sent down on them; - being struck by lightning; - being put into a barrel with nails, and dragged from street to street until they die; - getting a total beatdown--being kicked, punched, stepped on, thrown at walls, etc. I do feel ashamed for thinking these thoughts, it's just that these are what heartless people who have no qualms about hurting or killing innocents or children totally deserve. And it hurts that God allows them to continue their awful practices. I know He wants to give everybody a chance to turn to Him, but heartless tyrants who only want money and/or power and don't care who they have to hurt to get them, and who always refuse to change, don't deserve that kind of chance. They deserve one or more of the outcomes listed earlier.
If man takes an oath this oath he or she is obligated to fulfill and attend to that means if there are billionaires commiting crimes then they are subject to the same laws that the little guy are subject too. If there are politicians do tors health officials commiting crime they are subject to the very laws that the smaller offenders do.
I'm agnostic, and I think if there were an all powerful God like your claim him to be. I can hardly see evil as part of his creation. I would see an intellectual being who would understand that he will be upset and angry. And I would also see him eliminating those issues.
Hey, how are you brother? I pray you are great and things are going well for you in this hectic life we live. If I may, and you don't need to read if you don't wish to, but I couldn't let this pass by. Understand that God gave us free-will. He gave us the beauty of choice. But what have we done as humans since the beginning of time? We've chosen to be selfish and arrogant. If God, as the man says above, wanted to change the ways of others by force (which He can), then would we still have free-will? I don't think so. You love to be free and explore. I love to do things and explore and God gave us that gift but not to explore the darkness of Satan's schemes. I hope this will reach you. I love you even though I don't know you. It doesn't matter. We're both human, therefore you are family to me as I am to you. Stay safe, man. God bless you.
Anger and upset isn’t the final deciding factor for him to destroy something. He loves his creations (humans). He loves us so much that his mercy is given to us even if we don’t deserve it. He loves us so much he allowed his son to die for us so that he can forgive us. I believe the thing that confuses you is how you view morality. You seem to view morality as “anything that causes harm or upsets me is bad” which is incorrect. Greater virtues rise from suffering. Patience, bravery, perseverance, etc. God always finds a way to bring about good from the evils humanity creates. God bless you brother. Jesus awaits you my friend
@@nwabuezerobinson1516 🤔Hmm.. Maybe free will wasn’t such a good idea? If all pain, suffering and sin stems from free will. Then what righteous person would desire such a thing? Does murder and adultery take place in this “Heaven” place? I’m pretty sure every religious person will answer “No”. How can such a place exist without free will & the desire for them? Just as those acts will be eliminated there (Allegedly). They could’ve been eliminated here. A Perfect Creator/ A Perfect Creation. Yet, we See an imperfect creation. With fairytales of a perfect creator.
@@MelvinSanford God be with you for coming out to me. I'll do my best to answer your question. You see, you, asked why would any righteous person desire such a thing as free-will. Answer is, although we do have free-will, we choose to follow God's will. Reason being because our free-will will eventually cause us to stumble in this terrible life we live. Our free-will will indicate that we are filled with greed, envy, lust, anger, sensual mindset and much more that doesn't please The All-Father, God of creation. So of course why would we choose to want such a thing if it causes disaster? We don't, we choose to follow the Will of God for it is in His mighty and glorious Will that you and I are even having this little communication right now. His will for us is to be happy and live a glorious and righteous life. But we, as the human beings we are, choose to live in Darkness of sin because it's nice and cosy and there's no need to turn to the light. We can't even blame satan. Yes, he tempts us to do stuff that are displeasing to God, but he didn't point a gun to our head and told us to do it, we just do it then we carry on. Understand that I too, have asked myself: Why would God do something so dangerous as give us free-will? Obviously, He knew that many would use it against Him. But the truth is, God wanted us to prove our loyalty to Him and shame satan forever which is why you will not find any foolish behaviour in Heaven because we love God so much that we follow His Will. God believes in us to make the right choice but unfortunately, the only thing blocking us from making the right choice is...us. Let me explain why. Your comment: "Fairytale Creator." This right here is a clear indication that you do not love God because you do not know Him nor trust Him. You ask why doesn't He just bring peace down here than just in Heaven. Did He not do that 2,000 years ago? Did He not send down His only begotten Son, our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ? He did. He gave us a chance to repent. He gave us a chance to stand tall and be with Him. He gave us Hope. Easy Access To Salvation. But we still refuse. Many Human beings will never accept Him. The Book of revelation speaks of the fact that even when Jesus shows His face, the world will still deny Him. So why should He waste His time and enforce peace down in this terrible planet? Another thing to add: Heaven is a place where people, who love Jesus and love to worship God, go to. Do you love God? Seeing by you stating God as a "fairytale" should already answer that question. For God to bring peace down here would mean for the world to worship Him and glorify His name, which I already know; the Bible already knows; and any other devoted Children Of God should know that, that is impossible. Why? There are people in this planet who will never bother wanting to even see Jesus Christ. Do you still think He should bring peace here? In a place where humans will never worship the creator regardless of how much joy He could establish on this planet. Personally, I don't think so. Please bare with my explanation.

I dont need to see any other video because this video gives the real answer. I have been watching many videos because im writting about this topic. But now that i found this video i can now really make my essay perfectly
If there’s no evil, there’s no good to distinguish
Can distinguish against neutral.
Wrong. I don't need anyone in the world to have cancer for me to enjoy being healthy.
@@spacesciencelabMan made concept
Also you mentioned alot of negative things. Dont forget theres alot to enjoy in life, love, friendships, nature, charity etc...
I agree.. Could’ve been done better!

Can I ask why a baby being molested, should have taken “responsibility” ?

Right now, I am involved in one of the biggest conflicts of my life and I have not said one word to God asking for help to get out of it. I am struggling To get through twenty ounces of chicken livers I got from Kroger for $.20. Take care, and volunteer me for anything.
The best answer I’ve seen So far.
The best explanation!
I get it , bad things are allowed to happen , but unfortunately many are horrific crimes against children ,thats to much free will , if i had the power i wouldn't allow any of that to happen
There’s no such thing as a little free will, not from a logical standpoint. You either have it or don’t.
What a great job! Thank you brother! Wisdom for days!

Any Christians to answer these questions
1
.why was the fruit there in the first place? Why place something that you know will bring suffering to billions of people for thousands of years...why place it near human beings?
2. God knows everything
He knows the future. So when He created Adam and Eve He knew they were going to sin. Why do it anyways?
3. The whole sin doctrine is complex
I wasnt there when they ate
Why must I be punished for the sins of the father?
Go to a shelter for the disabled people or terminally ill people and tell me whose free will it is
Go to Tornado survivors and tell me whose free will caused it
6. What is the purpose of prayer? No really. I guarantee you that most Jews in the gas chambers were calling unto the Lord to save them. Just before they were suffocated to death.
God has intervened in both the Old and New testament to save His people. Why not then?
I prayed for my brother to live. He died. Someone else prayed for their sibling to live
They lived.
For example, natural disasters and diseases that we haven't been able to cure despite the best human efforts. Where is God in those things?

It wasnt a matter of chance because He knows the future doesnt He. He knows the past the present and the future.
He knew what was going to happen to humanity when He created them. That billions of people would suffer and die.

why
We never think about their salvation when we sermonise these feel-good narratives.

why then did God harden Pharoah's heart if he doesn't interfere in a man's free will?
Yoooo
Thank you
Pharoah already hardens his own heart.

Wait until we leave this dimension and into God’s presence and we will understand
Why Does God Allow Evil? | Why Does God Let Bad Things Happen? | " JUST BECAUSE "
A few problems.
"God would have to remove us all."
Which to me is a very good indication that sin is a little pear shaped a standard. Like, isn't it weird we're being punished for the free will god knew we would have?
I'm curious about how this philosophy of God allowing free will and thus evil, is squared with prayer for God to intervene in a situation?
"We are all born with a sinful nature."
Which God let us have.
"He is purposefully delaying in order to allow more people to repent."
This assumes that more people are becoming Christian right? That doesn't seem to square properly with rates of religiosity in newer generations going down, and both Islamic and atheistic tendencies growing faster than Christianity.
"It is God's desire that we would be with him."
If it was then how is it possible for us not to be? He's all knowing and all powerful. Doesn't that mean if he really could have a desire, that it would happen?
"God does restrain some acts of evil, this world would be much worse if it were not for God restraining evil."
Wait then he does violate free will sometimes? I can't help but feel like this is double think. God doesn't interfere with free will, but he does sometimes in this vague way.
Obviously you never read the Bible 🤦♂️
Shalom!

Blessed day Brethren ...
question : Does allowing sin, evil is sin?
thank you😇😇
Hello, God does not give us permission to sin, otherwise He would not judge it at the Judgement Seat.
InspiringPhilosophy explained this better and had a better answer
(edit: not pushing for or against abortion here, only the idea that God hates it happening)

The pain and suffering of innocent people, who were inflicted by countless maladies through not part of their own sin or behavior. This video said nothing to me.
Swiss cheese is holy too.
moral evil not natural evil.

If i had just stopped partying then all the evil in the world will stop??
I lost my brother. No amount of praying saved his life
And even if all humanity were to stop having premarital sex he still wouldn't be alive
So stop judging people likr the stereotypical Christian
Sometimes I do feel that God doesn't care what we want, which is for innocents to be spared and evil people to be punished. Said tyrants deserve one of several kinds of punishments:
- being hanged;
- having their heads chopped off;
- being with their limbs chained thrown in the sea and having the life squeezed out of them by giant octopi;
- being tossed into a deep dark pit and torn to shreds by rabid Cerberus clones;
- being thrown into a lion's den and having the lions jump on them and crush all their bones;
- getting their limbs ripped off on a torture rack;
- being scorched by fire sent down on them;
- being struck by lightning;
- being put into a barrel with nails, and dragged from street to street until they die;
- getting a total beatdown--being kicked, punched, stepped on, thrown at walls, etc.
