- False prophets, false teachers, and false pastors abound as a wolf in sheep’s clothing in far too many instances. We know to beware of false prophets but the question is, how to recognize a false teacher, what are the signs of a false prophet, along with the false gospel and false doctrine they teach? Are all prosperity preachers charlatans and / or false teachers? In this video Pastor Nelson with Bible Munch offers several ways to spot false teachers and heresy using the Bible as a reference and standard.

Wow all I got to say is that seems like a lot of judgment for a people you do not know personally nor do you know what they do with their material abundance. I would agree that there are some prosperity preachers out there that seem to have some disgusting abominable wealth with large Estates or multiple houses and great cars Etc but what I don't know is if that came from another source of income and especially what they do with it. Do they have a side business in which God has prospered them? More importantly, if I was a betting man I would be willing to bet that with all that income they get, they practice the very thing they preach and that is they give and they give and they give and they give some more to help those who are in need. And when is it considered enough? Who's man-made judgment do we follow on how much someone should give until they've given enough to please god? Is a million dollars enough? Is 10 million enough? Who are we to set the bar on what is enough that someone gives. Can you not see where judging others ends up in error for how much they have or how much they don't have? So in the end who am I to judge what they have and why they have it and what they use it for and if they're using it enough for the gospel? Just saying.
1:20 So it’s OK to teach a prosperity message as long as it was during the old covenant… you should condemn the covenant law, because it promised wealth and health to the nation of Israel..
💰 I wish I lived during the old covenant time
5:22 “Personally wealth of the minister is often far above that of the member” aka Johnny Mac
6:20 You said that many people went away because of the harsh truth of the gospel.. You’re misquoting Jesus (ironic John 666) you didn’t mention:
“So Jesus said to them, “Truly, truly, I say to you, unless you eat the flesh of the Son of Man and drink His blood, you have no life in yourselves.”
John 6:53 NASB1995
If you got up on Sunday morning and said that we needed to drink, Jesus is blood in each of his flesh people would probably walk away. That is not a truth of the gospel at all. Jesus was speaking in a metaphor, and they took it as literal.
Jesus was sending people away because if you were to get too popular, they would’ve killed him sooner .
