Everyone talks about changing to 80% (outside LFP) but going under 20% is way more damaging. For Tesla probably 15% because they build in a buffer. For mileage since I have a 15000 mile lease I put 50 cents per mile in an interest account every time it is used for trips
Bought my MY 2 weeks ago and showing extended 60k warranty. Must say one disappointment is reliability of Amazon Music, get loading errors often and have to do a reset to get it working again. Hope it’s fixed with an update as annoying.
The suspension ain’t the best, but equally its not the worst either. But much softer than my model 3. Whether it’s something that the Berlin Model Y is currently doing better with 🤷 What model year do you have and where was your Tesla built?
Wouldn’t know, thats beyond the legal limit in the 🇬🇧 70mph got just over 4 miles a kwh fully loaded with luggage and passengers in rainy conditions if that helps.
So roughly speaking, at 70mph you’d do 35miles in half an hour. 35miles divided by the 4 mile a kWh consumption, this would give you 8.75kwh used. Its about 15% on napkin maths.
This is particularly for when remaining plugged-in is not an option 👍 That said even if it was plugged in, it will use more juice but optional if you can get a charge.
Think you misunderstood what was said. You get 10k more general warranty mileage, so up to 60k. You get 100k on battery and motor for RWD and 120k for long range and performance models, or 8 years whatever is first . These haven’t changed. Just the general warranty mileage has increased
Did you spot the Oasis reference?
Great video Adam! Finally someone has addressed the sound system question between LRR and LRA models 👌👌
Great video and all useful info. Thank you
Thanks for the unlatch door tip
Thanks for the ref code and all the very useful info Adam, used today to order MY RWD 👍👍
You’re most welcome Carl 👍 When is your collection scheduled for? Did you opt for any options?
Collection tbc, hopefully before end September.. no options, was just happy to get a good deal, test drive was so good 👍
I've just got an ex demo RWD Y first registered in January this year and yes I have the 60k warranty 😊
That’s mega! All the way back to January. Thank you for sharing
Bought my 2024 Mod Y 2 weeks ago. Today, Sept 16, 2024, still 4 yrs/50K miles. What are you on about?
It’s literally in the video, and on the Tesla website. What region you in?
22nd June delivery, still the same 80k kms (50k miles) here in Aus 😔
Already 9k into it in less than 3 months.
My '21 model y SR hasn't changed the warranty at all

Nice, yeah these things can always be smoothed over with software updates. I remember Apple Music was the same, but that’s been smoothed over since 🙌
Wow, our excess mileage charge is 20p per mile so we are having to be careful! We have 10k a year
March 2022 still 50k miles warranty.
"The proof of the pudding is in the eating" 🙂
November 2022 M3 still shows 50000 mile warranty.
Looking like it’s reserved to 2024 models so far
True about warranty miles but reduced the 120,000 miles to 100,000
The battery/drivetrain for the RWD is 100,000 and the LR/Performance is 120,000.
Do you know why the model y suspension is so hard and noisy?
The suspension ain’t the best, but equally its not the worst either. But much softer than my model 3. Whether it’s something that the Berlin Model Y is currently doing better with 🤷 What model year do you have and where was your Tesla built?
Hi Adam, this is Hansshow,do you still interested in review our accessories for your Tesla?
Nope, sorry
Real world figures, from 100% on a 35 minute run at 75mph with lights/heater/wipers on, how much battery would be used ?
Wouldn’t know, thats beyond the legal limit in the 🇬🇧 70mph got just over 4 miles a kwh fully loaded with luggage and passengers in rainy conditions if that helps.
Whats that in percentage

Please share where you got the headrest from? :)
In the video description towards the bottom 💪
Got mine in march 2024 and I now have 60k. Thanks for bringing this to my attention.
bought my tesla MY three weeks ago and it still shows 50k mile warranty
That’s weird, have you updated your tesla mobile app recently?
At 3:55 sorry, turn off sentry mode and overheat protection, why? What would happen if you leave sentry mode on if it’s plugged in?
This is particularly for when remaining plugged-in is not an option 👍 That said even if it was plugged in, it will use more juice but optional if you can get a charge.
Mate give me every you know I’m leaving so much only had the car 3 days
2:03 you went from battery & driving unit 120k to 100k just to get 10k on basic vehicle?! that is bad!
Think you misunderstood what was said. You get 10k more general warranty mileage, so up to 60k. You get 100k on battery and motor for RWD and 120k for long range and performance models, or 8 years whatever is first . These haven’t changed. Just the general warranty mileage has increased
you dont need to step on the brake to reset/reboot
Must be an old wives tale that step! Just always done that.
2800 miles! Time for your first oil change 🛢🛢🛢🛢🛢...NOT! 😄
Maintenance 🤭
I thought it was going to be Geofencing . . . The ability of your "chosen" government to shut down your vehicle!
Why did nobody tell me this was thing 😭
