@@SouthernCrossMotors keep us posted with the progress. Look forward to seeing the results. What throttle body are you going to use ? If you can source RCF which is slightly bigger than the stock ISF would be perfect
@@isofreak2 RR-Racing did extensive tests with a RCF TB and the gain was 3hp. Not worth the effort. Porting the inlet and polishing the existing TB will net about 12hp. Awesome video, I'm about to install mine and this was great to see. I am curious, what is the OBD reader you plug in to get the gauges through your vline? I'd like to get one
Hey Tyler. No, can't run ISFs on E85. 90% of the time BP Ultimate 98. Occasionally I will mix E85 and blend to a maximum of E30 (no more, E20 is the safest), as the RR-Racing tune will allow for that.
I'm thinking of getting the rr tuned intake. I already have the RR carbon elbow and xforce exhaust. I want to get ppe headers eventually. Did you have stock headers when you installed the RR tuned intake?
You wont need the RR Intake until you have the rest done - headers / exhaust / Loi Tune. Stock factory air cleaner is very good. See my video I made comparing both.
As long as you have the updated tune that goes with it. You can not run the stock tune or the normal RR tune. I had no issue getting the KCLV up to 23.5 to 24 on both the low and high rpm. I ended up getting a Performance MRP MAF Tube 3.5in OD/ 3.25in ID and the tune from Loi as the RR tune had a huge dead spot off line and the car was slower that the stock intake. After the Loi tune and better MAF tube is when I got my 12.1 1/4. Also the KCLV was in the 26-27 range on both low and high rpm.
Great stuff, I had big problems with my tuned intake, RR had to give me a richer tune...as I was running CEL on the daily! I pulled 270kw at the wheels today after a dyno run so about 460hp at the crank, hoping to get it sorted and pull better numbers Did you have any issues with yours ?
I did. Big dead spot off idle on full throttle. My 60’ were down to 2.15. Before the intake they were 1.93. I ripped the inlet off today for a port and polish. So see how it goes. The battery terminal may also have been a bigger issue than I thought
Definitely at that 400whp now.
Excellent content Mike. I have watched all your videos. Thanks for sharing. Hello from Melbourne
Thanks mate. Hope people get some use from what I am doing. This inlet manifold will be the biggest mission 😳😳😳🥵🥵

Good Stuff mate 👍 from Perth WA. Look forward seeing those 2011 lights soon!
Thank you. I could have done better with the video but still learning the whole editing thing 🤣😂
Things did not go as planned however. More soon.
@Mike_010ISF keep the videos coming Mike!

Me too👍🏻
The OBD reader is a generic one for OBD2. I use the OBD Fusion app to get the data.
Hi Mike, hello from Sydney. love the videos, what type of fuel are you using? E85?

How do you get that displaying on the head unit?
Video coming soon. Lots of questions about that.

Hi @Mike_010ISF what screen is that in your ISF? :) Cant wait to see what the car does now!
I have Vline Grom.
That screen is a Google Store app and the dashboard is custom made by a mate here in Brisbane.
Did you have a hard time maxing out the KCLV with the intake installed ? I’m getting a p0101 CEL assuming from the larger tubing around the MAF
