- In this video I show how to install Haloview Byte Tango 7 1080p wireless vison system and rearview camera on our 2019 Grand Design Imagine XLT 21BHE. Our camper was pre-wired from the factory for a rearview camera and I walk through the procedures for removing the existing shroud and wiring in the Haloview camera. So far this has proven to be very vestal and clear for safe driving and parking our camper. Side marker cameras can be purchased separately or with the rearview camera and screen for 180 degree viewing.

Jacob, as a note, you can power your RV lights by installing a fuse or a jumper wire, between the power port, and clearance light port on your RV to Vehicle pig tail. This should power your camera, so it can be used for security purposes.
@Douglas Weeth, thank you for the tip that's great information!
Good to know that the BT7 uses the same mounting holes as the Furrion shroud.
@BuildingByFaith, glad I could help. I was crossing my fingers they matched up as well.
Hello Jacob. I am in the market for a back up camera for my 40’ Montana. Have you had any loss of connection while using this system? Does the kit come with some type of repeater antenna? How long is your trailer? Appreciate your video. I now know the basic installation and I really liked that you showed the camera ability while backing into a space.
@Retired Chief, Haloview lists that interference free reception up to 65ft is guaranteed during high speed use. I have not had any loss of connection while using the camera even on the interstate, granted our travel trailer is only 25ft long plus 12ft or so from the hitch to the monitor. It helps to have all antennas mounted and pointing upward. I'm not aware of any repeater antennas. Let me know if you have any other questions.
I have the Ram mounting system. Can you share the adapter you used to secure the screen to the mounting arm? Thank you.
@cadexim, I used the Haloview Suction Cup Mount - amzn.to/3Rk5MLu I only used the mount and ditched the suction cup. The ball is slightly smaller than 20mm but I was able to make it work.
I like your screen mount in the truck. Did you just remove the ball from the suction cup mount to use with the bulletpoint arm? I take it that the suction cup ball was 20mm. Also, Did you use the standard arm length from bulltpoint? Thanks.
@Bryan C, yes I removed the ball portion from the suction cup monitor mount product link : amzn.to/3PF5H3o . I then used a standard 7cm arm mount from Bulletpoint solutions along with their mounting bracket to secure the monitor. So far it's worked great!
@@jacobsupgrades that is exactly what I am looking for! Great video and thank you for the info!
@@bryanc2362 I'm glad I could help out!
@@jacobsupgrades love my bulletpoint mount!! glad I saw this, im going to do the same as well!!! great video
@@snowayadventures love it! If you have any issues with the bracket rattling try my fix with a rubber shim I show in my review video. ua-cam.com/video/kUErEeQiAbg/v-deo.html
Every video I watch just shows guys installing this system like stripping wires and screw it into the wall. With all these trigger wires and poor instructions, I would like to know exactly which wires get connected to which wires. I know positive to positive but in the instructions there is a green wire hooked to the red wire but it doesn't show it that way in the other diagram
Thanks, Bob
@sbb8882, Bob, the green trigger wire will need to be wired with the positive red wire this is what allows the camera to kick on and pair once it's powered up. For example I need to turn on my running lights in order to power the camera on. If I had the side marker cameras those trigger wires will turn on the side marker camera if you were to put your turn signal on in that direction and that camera view would show up on the screen. If your only running the review camera I'm not sure it makes a huge difference, I connected my green wire with the positive wire and the black to the negative and it has worked fine. Let me know if this works for you.
The camera system is total trash, don't waste your money.
Thanks for your comment. What problems have you experienced with this Haloview camera?
