Did you screw the panel bracket feet into studs or is it ok not to be
@@TidewaterAerialSolutions my whole roof has plywood roof below the TPO I can walk on so I could screw them in anywhere. If it's a solid substrate then you don't need to hit studs.
Do you know where I can find that metal filler neck.. mine is rusted and I’m trying to get one
@chueyavila1402 after a quick search it seems like they are hard to find right now. LMC Truck and Jeffs are out. I would try calling your local parts stores to see if they have one laying around. I would think any 79 Dentside with the rear fuel tank would work. Last resort try a salvage yard.
Well lit, well explained, reference diagrams included, and 2 different camera angles. This is a great video! Thank you for uploading this.

Can you add ice also to make the battery last a little longer, or will that possibly damage the fridge? Also, does it generate a lot of heat?
@@UA-camNathanShorts yes you can add ice to the fridge and even run it as a freezer to keep ice or ice cream. The more cold things in the fridge and more volume filled up the more efficiently it will run thus saving power. It does generate some heat when the compressor kicks on but nothing crazy, you won't burn yourself with it or heat up a space. You do need to allow some space around the compressor area for it to circulate air and vent.
So awesome really like the video it is so cool to see. That your wife is helping you that is awesome. Same here. My wife is always helping me when I’m doing projects around the house. It is so cool I believe that is something very special. Thanks for taking the time to do this video

Are the tensioners the same part # for both?
They are not, the serpentine tensioner is BL3Z-8620-F and the AC is BR3Z-6B209-H. Idler Pulley is BL3Z-8678-D.

It worked, what does 2 honks mean?
For my truck when it gave me two honks the message on the cluster said it was unsuccessful and to try again. I would verify with the message on your cluster if it worked. You can also check to see if the PSI is reading correctly on the cluster.
Nice video thanks for sharing my 2016 f150 had the same issue with the track. Looks like an easy peasy fix. Much appreciated.
Thank you for the comment. Yes it is an easy fix just make sure you remove as much of the old sealant as you can to get a good bond. Also clamping it down for 24hours helps a lot.
Omg we should all dump fluids like that LOL no disrespect this is the first time I smiled all day! Thank you.
Haha I'm glad I could make you smile! Sometimes it doesn't go as planned.
great video most important to follow the belt diagram as with most serpentine belts drive you crazy trying to put back on take a pic if you can.
I like your take a picture idea before hand. I often reference back to my videos on how it was put together before hand if I can't remember. I wish they put the belt diagrams on the inside of the hood like they used to.
How cold will it get when its 110 outside?
I haven't used the fridge in 110 degree temps yet. I think it will depend on several factors; is it exposed to direct sunlight, is it in an AC vehicle, is it running off DC power or the portable battery, is it in max or eco mode, is it full or mostly empty, were the contents you put in it cold before hand, was it pre-chilled. I've ran it off the portable battery in direct sunlight on a boat in 90 degree temps and it kept my drinks and snacks cold for the day out on the water.
Thank you
@@hehelnah you're welcome!
don't you mean oil PRESSURE sensor?
@@franklynarjoon2219 I believe it's both. When looking up the part number it's often called a temp sender / sensor/ pressure switch.
Hello sir, how can I tell where the leak is coming from, I don’t see any coolant in my oil when I do my oil changes or white smoke coming from the exhaust, so i thinking I got a external leak, but I just can’t tell where exactly is coming from, I do smell some coolant coming from the from driver side. Thanks in advance
@@k-a147 I had trouble telling where it was coming from but could smell it from the driver side like you mentioned. I noticed the Y pipe or T connection was leaking after driving for a while then opening the hood and seeing the water pump pulley and belt was wet with some white scaling below it. The gaskets go bad in those quick connections and need to be replaced.
As a retired machinist WD-40 is not a cutting fluid, it is a lubricate, use a cutting oil or fluid.
@@scottsbr8076 thank you for the input. I was just making do with what I had. Do you have a cutting oil or fluid you recommend?
You mix oil?
@@detroit1018 if I'm not able to find Motorcraft oil at my local shop yes I do mix them on occasion.
What mount do you use with the GoPro?
I use this Bulletpoint dash camera mount. www.amazon.com/dp/B08295RLCJ/ref=cm_sw_r_as_gl_api_gl_i_GDA12BMTDF19XARNCYQK?linkCode=ml2&tag=ozarkfloati00-20
Some of the photos of your truck show a storage basket that appears to set on top of the bed cover. Am I seeing that correctly. If so, who makes it and how was it installed?
@johnferebee, that's a custom setup I put together using different products. I started off with my TracRac dual T slot rails and bought their toolbox slide kit. I then mounted Inno load bars to them with a Rhino Rack mesh half basket 60" long. Rhino rack no longer makes the basket but you might be able to find something similar. This setup is really nice cause you can slide the basket to the tail gate so you can load heavier items and it doesn't interfere with the Retrax cover.
Here's my video on the overall setup. TracRac SR and Retrax MX 5 Year Review ua-cam.com/video/-2X850oOM6k/v-deo.html
Thank you.
Where did you get the 20 inch power cord? Can’t find it on Amazon or the bougerv site.. thanks.. great video!
I looked on their website as well and couldn't find it. I did notice it comes with a new CRPRO30 fridge now but not shown as available separately. I reached out to my contact at BougeRV and will let you know what I find out.
@sportshobbycollector3327, I heard back from my contact at BougeRV and they informed me the short DC power cable is not available for sale. But if you really want one for your fridge to contact their customer service and they should provide you with the shorter cable.
@@jacobsupgrades thanks so much for checking! Sorry I have not responded sooner..keep up the great videos.
Excellent video ! However, for anyone thinking this is a 15 minute job; give your head a shake. You'll be working in a very tight space thanks to Fords better idea of making vehicles so difficult to work on . The second time doing it.... might take 15 minutes. Expect to find idler/tensioner bearings on their way out.
I can imagine with a stock bumper this can be a more difficult job. I have a lot more room to work with the Road Armor bumper. Did you replace your idler/tensioner? I think I'm due to replace mine at 140,000 miles.
@@jacobsupgrades Hi Jacob. Yes, it's factory bumper and very tight space working from above and some from below.. Your question re: idler/tensioner replacement? No, I popped out the seals on the bearings and re-greased them. Virtually all near dry. Don't waste your money, re:grease them asap. BTW, if I didn't have your video, this job would have been longer and a lot worse that it was. In closing, I really don't blame Ford for the engineering preventing easier repairs or standard maintenance procedures. The blame falls on guys more concerned where their cup holders located and the trim package; too useless to swing a wrench anymore.
@@lancehughes4132 I like the way you think! Great idea to re-grease them.
@@jacobsupgrades Look Jacob, re-grease all of those bearings. The tensioner pulley on the alt. water pump side, is LEFT HAND THREAD. I found out the hard way so take note. The tensioner spring on these should last 200k plus. Don't forget the lock tight.
