I hope pup didn't need to poop.😂 great conversation. I want to go full-time as an Insurance agent. I work a 9-5 at an insurance company in customer service. It is a different kind of entrepreneur business. My heart is willing to give it my all but my bank account or lack there of, is a solid no😢
Hi Erica. I'm a licensed Cosmetologist in the state of Texas . I always, and still desire to do hair, but I had to step aside of working in a salon and started my customized Wig Making business which includes wig repair, ventilating services and customized pieces. I'm in the process of taking courses to polish up hairstyling skills and sewing courses to start up my very own upscale boutique, and I even have a very tiny signature hair care line. I work a full-time job as a security guard, and I'm trying to get out of the job. What pushed you to get from teaching to owning your boutique and how did you maintain the business. Also, how did you reach your target market in the beginning before you were able to make more money to market to get the desirable clientele to remain in business-Thank you.
The biggest thing is branding and social media helps maintain a business in my opinion, it builds connections and recognition. Branding is key, I always have something branded to give me clients to remember me. My best advice is to start with one thing, master that and make people know you by that then build with other products services, my push was simply wanting to pursue my dreams when the opportunity presented itself ........we only live once, have no regrets!!!
