I disagree with you. If you want to succeed on Fiverr it’s up to you to separate yourself from the pack. Crappy sellers shouldn’t affect your business if you do a great job
@@MikeNardiTV I see your point about individual success, and I agree that standing out and doing great work is important. However, my concern goes beyond personal responsibility. What I mean is that by bringing a lot of people to the platform who aren't there to give their absolute best (but because UA-camrX said it's easy), you create the impression that Fiverr is a place for mediocre freelancers. Why? Because many buyers will order these lower-priced gigs to save money and end up disappointed when Seller1, with just two weeks of experience in logo design, fails to deliver quality work. Then they try Seller2 and have the same experience. This continues until the buyer decides, "Never mind, this platform is full of amateurs." THAT is what's killing the platform. While your response is logical in terms of individual effort, it doesn't fully address the bigger issue I’m raising about how an influx of poor sellers can damage Fiverr’s overall reputation. Even if you, as a seller, are doing a fantastic job, the platform's reputation suffers when buyers repeatedly encounter poor-quality sellers. They may stop using Fiverr altogether, regardless of how great the top sellers are. That platform-wide consequence is what I'm concerned about, and it's something your response doesn't consider.

This is pretty common Glenda as the algorithms change a lot on Fiverr. Still, there are some tried and true tactics you can stick to what will help you restore your gig traffic. It’s hard work and you need to do it consistently, but keep it up and you’ll turn things around 😊👍
I set up a seller account, like, 14 years ago or something…maybe more, and I have never actually been able to actually go live to sell. It’s totally bewildering because I am a professional bassist with 35+ years of experience behind me.

These were very helpful tips sir! I got a queastin: after i start working on fivver while i have the time i would have a good reputation, but what if i dont have time deliver or response to the order? Is there any way i could pause my gigs with?
You can ask the buyer to extend the order timeline, but ideally you want to make sure you’re setting your order timelines so they are long enough to give you time to complete. Incomplete or late orders will hurt your stats.
I'm not a tax expert, the best option would be for you to talk to a local tax specialist/accountant local to you to discuss tax implications of selling on fiverr.

Great video. I got 2 requests asking me to be a virtual assistant for 3 weeks. How do you handle payments with long term gigs? Are we supposed to get paid FIRST before we do work? I'm not sure how to approach this. Help
Hi Mike , thank you so much for looking out for us newbies. I recently completed my first order but it's not showing up along with my other gig images. The buyer left me a good review, but I can't see his review along with what I delivered. I have noticed that sellers have their buyer reviews next to their completed gigs. Am I missing something?
Free lansing is really hard journey. I use to start in Fiverr in 2023 and my gig was bruttaly horrible :D thank god that we have a free service like canva so I found how to customize my gigs and It's look amazing
Thank you for your advice. I have a question thou: What do you do when you kick off and start to have too many requests? What happens when you have no other option but to reject gigs because you just don't have enough time to do them? Does Fiverr rate you unfavorably? Thanks.
First of all, that sounds like a pretty great problem to have! Too many orders that you can't complete them all! Basically what I would do is as soon as I feel this is happening either increase my prices, or extend my delivery timeline (for future orders). This should help keep things more manageable moving forward, as for existing orders that you have in the queue I would NOT cancel them. Instead would kindly ask the buyer if you could extend delivery based on unforeseen influx of orders. Hope this helps!
I just need some advice because I've had a fiverr since 2020. I do art commissions of original characters and fanart or concept art. But i have NEVER had even one buyer. I post on social media, i have pictures of my work. I don't think it's bc my qrt is just bad, i mean i took art classes in both highschool and college 😅 i just don't understand why I haven't ever got even ONE buyer. Not one! What am i doing wrong? It's like no one even SEES my profile on there.
Your art is probably really good, the problem likely isn’t the art, the problem is probably the fact that not many people turn to Fiverr to buy the type of artwork you’re selling.
Im trying to make money online but I have no idea what I could even offer to people. I am good at hands of stuff-not much help to people through a computer so what do I do? Please help

They may stop using Fiverr altogether, regardless of how great the top sellers are. That platform-wide consequence is what I'm concerned about, and it's something your response doesn't consider.

How is this any different than lower quality sellers competing with businesses outside of Fiverr that do better quality work?
I've practised digital art for the last 3 years I have my gig but this kinda helped thanks
Nice!
I tried to tweak my gig for impressions and it just went down to zero 😭
It can take a few days after a tweak for gig analytics to register again
This is so informative , thanks Mike
Glad it was helpful!
I like the video soo much that i have planned to watch the video every morning atleast for a week for motivation and thing that you tell stuck in my head. Thank you soo much.
Nice! Make sure to check out the other videos on the channel too!
@@MikeNardiTV yeah, you are my favorite now
Procrastination is something I really struggle with. Being scared I cannot actually do it, or being overwhelmed
Gotcha, well, there’s only one way to find out if you can do it! Gotta give it a shot :)
I’ve had client before from people seeing my own youtube channel work and previous clients work. I love video edited it’s like a puzzle. There such thing as easy hard work :)
👍
You can set limited or no revisions at all and charge for every additional one instead.
Yup!
In two years, I have served 200+ jobseekers, blessed to achieve $12,000+, and reached level 2. I don't know if it is average or if I can do better?
Sounds pretty good so far, nice work!
I'm inspired by you man...im going in as a songwriter let's see how it goes
Get after it my friend! Good luck!
Mr. Miiiiiiike! Loooooove the content. Thanks and hopefully someday soon i can share my success story too.
Cheers! Good luck my friend!
I have filled out all the forms, spaces etc, have 2 gigs to show, but don't know what they think is a good pitch. NOTHING I have created so far has suited them. WHAT does it take to get started in there? YES, I do have indicated in their forms what I am offering.
Thanks for all these insights ! It was really enlightening !
You're so welcome!
Hi Mike, I have one year in fiverr but I have only managed to do 4 jobs on the platform. I have felt a little frustrated because I don't know exactly how to modify the gigs to position them better. I tried everything you explained, but when one of the gigs is doing "well", suddenly the impressions fall back. The clicks too, and they are usually few :(
Hmm I’d be interested to know more about the types of services you’re offering. Take a look at the playlist below if you haven’t already, and send me an email with your fiverr profile info. I’ll review it and post it as a video on this channel if that would be helpful. (Please don’t link to your profile in the comments).

@@MikeNardiTV Hi Mike, Thanks for your response. Well, the service that I offer is about illustrations, background illustration for children books and so on. I will send to you my profile!
@@glendavalentina is your gig tailored specifically to background illustrations for children’s books?
@@MikeNardiTV Yes, one of my gigs. The others are more general but within the background illustration
This is pretty common Glenda as the algorithms change a lot on Fiverr. Still, there are some tried and true tactics you can stick to what will help you restore your gig traffic. It’s hard work and you need to do it consistently, but keep it up and you’ll turn things around 😊👍
Thank you; I actually needed this video.
Happy you liked it!
Great video, great presentation and you are a very kind person. Keep going!!!
Cheers!
To overcome procrastination realize: There is no time. Your life can end at any time.
That’s pretty heavy
I set up a seller account, like, 14 years ago or something…maybe more, and I have never actually been able to actually go live to sell. The last time I tried, they requested a video, presumably as proof that I can play. I received no reply at all from them and still cannot go live. It’s totally bewildering because I am a professional bassist with 35+ years of experience behind me.
My love is helping people learn how to get healthy so they can get off medicines and help them learn about low carb eating and what to eat. I actually have been doing this free for almost a year and I feel doing it this way may be the way to go as a coach.
Nice! Give it a shot?
I started working on fiverr 2 years ago but still can't skip that video lol.
👍
Thanks so much for this. Your videos help me not procrastinate 👊🏼🙏
Let’s go! 👊
I’m about to start a video editing service, thanks for the advice 👍 wish me luck
Best of luck my friend!
Thank you! I'll be getting started on Fiverr within the next week or so and this really helps.
Awesome! Wish you luck!
Can you do a video about refunds on fiverr, there are only videos talking about paypal refunds but are there other ways such as using funds stored in fiverr? And how to dispute refund claims that come after they accepted the finished product?
Will add it to my list
Thank you I appreciate it 😊

Should you not therefore be on multiple freelance sites to increase your exposure if it can take weeks/months to get an order?
Definitely something you can do, not a bad idea at all!
Hi, my order just got cancelled mutually because the buyer was not ready to make me his channel editor for me to Do SEO, Is there is way to remove cancel an order from my profile by contacting CS?
Not to my understanding, won't hurt to reach out to them to let them know what happened to see if there is anything they can do.
I started Fiverr I have never received any order on gigs I put up .. such as podcast script writing, and show notes , and other gigs too what might be doing wrong it’s been 1yr
@@MikeNardiTV so that means if i start my first gig, i have to be active daily
Thank you so much for posting this!
My pleasure!
Great video. I’m retired and would like a little additional money coming in, so I’m thinking of this.
Freelancing sounds like a great retirement side hustle!
Sir this is your office or home ? Nice background
Thanks!
Bravo. This is awesome insight.
Glad you think so!
Hey ! Can you please explain , what about the tax? Does Fiverr covers your tax ?
I'm not a tax expert, the best option would be for you to talk to a local tax specialist/accountant local to you to discuss tax implications of selling on fiverr.
Do you need that reverb (echo) removed from your video? We can do it through Fiverr if you want.
Nope, videos already live, have upgraded my setup since that time, thanks for the offer
@@MikeNardiTV Hey hope that did not sound offensive. I was just kidding, as I was getting ready to launch a fiverr account and stumbled upon this channel. Thanks for the advices.
No offence taken at all! Love the hustle :)
hi Mike i'm a newbie on fiverr, i just got 2 orders, they gave 5 and 4 stars, but one of them said that i'm not professional enough, will it affect my gigs in future?
Thanks hope you answer it
It might, but I wouldn’t worry too much. I’d take that feedback and make sure you’re being professional on future orders though
Thanks for this video, I really need the information about this before into it ✨.
You’re welcome
very very helpful video for me, today i have earned to many things Thank you sharing Mike
Great to hear!
Great video. I got 2 requests asking me to be a virtual assistant for 3 weeks. How do you handle payments with long term gigs? Are we supposed to get paid FIRST before we do work? I'm not sure how to approach this. Help
Question. On Fiverr can you do live video between two people?
Like video chat? I believe it has a zoom integration
Thank you Mike Potter
You’re welcome 🧙♂️
Hi Mike , thank you so much for looking out for us newbies. I recently completed my first order but it's not showing up along with my other gig images. The buyer left me a good review, but I can't see his review along with what I delivered. I have noticed that sellers have their buyer reviews next to their completed gigs. Am I missing something?
I'm not sure, should be showing if they left you a review.
It's good you made this video many people dont know
Happy to hear that!
I made a Fiverr account, but then never gone back to look at it...
Can I still make that work? O.o
That’s up to you my friend!
Free lansing is really hard journey.
I use to start in Fiverr in 2023 and my gig was bruttaly horrible :D thank god that we have a free service like canva so I found how to customize my gigs and It's look amazing
Freelancing*
Holy s. My keyborad embarasing me again. XD but cheers mate
Thank you for your advice.
I have a question thou:
What do you do when you kick off and start to have too many requests?
@@MikeNardiTV That was a great answer!!! I appreciate you took the time to answer my concerns!! Thank you!!!
@@itssanti Cheers
I also had people want me to Skype for an interview for long term gigs. Are we never to communicate with clients outside of Fiverr?
Thanks for sharing amazing tips. These are really gonna help a lot.
Happy to hear that Husain!

Please help
Hard for me to say without knowing you, but what I will say is I've made a bunch of videos that talk about different skills and fiverr gigs on this channel. You should check them out!
Thank you for this. I want to try my hand at voice talent work. This will help my expectations.
Good luck my friend :)
As an electrical and software engineer, is fiverr a good platform for trying getting freelancing work?
I am trying to explore how to make a living, just lost my job and I really need to figure out things quickly here. Thanks 🙏
I’m not super well versed in that niche, but it’s very possible. You should look into it

How important is it with a real photo of yourself in the profile? Most of people seems to use a real photo, but i have also seen logos and stuff like that.
Second question, is it allowed to use a stock image or ai generated photo as profile picture, or must it be myself on the picture?
I personally think using a real photo of yourself gives you an advantage over your competition. But ultimately it's up to you.
