    I started fiverr about 2 months ago, after about a month (28 days to be exact) i got my first sale and ever since then i get sales every other day i easily make 100 a week. Im honestly so happy and great-full for this opportunity because about 2-3 months ago i was just a broke student who couldn't afford anything, not even a laptop for studies and now i dont have to worry about money. I just wanted to share my story to motivate others because i know you can do it! ❤️

    I can relate! I started selling a year ago, but all throughout, I got cancelled orders, ridiculous requests, and me being ghosted by a buyer after not being satisfied with my work! I nearly lost hope, until just recently, someone availed my service. I'd like to point out here that it can take YEARS before you get a decent order.

    • @MikeNardiTV
      @MikeNardiTV  2 роки тому +17

      It can take time, but I'd be curious to know what your processes looked like for all those cancelled orders/negative experiences. I find that it's possible to mitigate bad experiences by running proper discovery before taking on a project, and also setting expectations/boundaries with clients before engaging in a project together.

    I made my first gig like 2 years ago. I got like 6 orders with 4-5 ratings in like 2 weeks which is pretty exciting. But then school year (Grade 7) came in and I paused my gig to avoid ruining my ratings or response time. Because I was too focused on my school work I forgot to activate my gig in like the next 2 years (2019-2021) I recently opened my gig and waited like 2 months and yet no one is ordering, is it because I paused it for too long? If that's the case how do I get my gig on the track again?

      @@MikeNardiTV I see your point about individual success, and I agree that standing out and doing great work is important. However, my concern goes beyond personal responsibility. What I mean is that by bringing a lot of people to the platform who aren't there to give their absolute best (but because UA-camrX said it's easy), you create the impression that Fiverr is a place for mediocre freelancers. Why? Because many buyers will order these lower-priced gigs to save money and end up disappointed when Seller1, with just two weeks of experience in logo design, fails to deliver quality work. Then they try Seller2 and have the same experience. This continues until the buyer decides, "Never mind, this platform is full of amateurs." THAT is what's killing the platform.
      While your response is logical in terms of individual effort, it doesn't fully address the bigger issue I’m raising about how an influx of poor sellers can damage Fiverr’s overall reputation. Even if you, as a seller, are doing a fantastic job, the platform's reputation suffers when buyers repeatedly encounter poor-quality sellers. They may stop using Fiverr altogether, regardless of how great the top sellers are. That platform-wide consequence is what I'm concerned about, and it's something your response doesn't consider.

    I have filled out all the forms, spaces etc, have 2 gigs to show, but don't know what they think is a good pitch. NOTHING I have created so far has suited them. WHAT does it take to get started in there? YES, I do have indicated in their forms what I am offering.

    Hi Mike, I have one year in fiverr but I have only managed to do 4 jobs on the platform. I have felt a little frustrated because I don't know exactly how to modify the gigs to position them better. I tried everything you explained, but when one of the gigs is doing "well", suddenly the impressions fall back. The clicks too, and they are usually few :(

I’ll review it and post it as a video on this channel if that would be helpful. (Please don’t link to your profile in the comments).

    I set up a seller account, like, 14 years ago or something…maybe more, and I have never actually been able to actually go live to sell. The last time I tried, they requested a video, presumably as proof that I can play. I received no reply at all from them and still cannot go live. It’s totally bewildering because I am a professional bassist with 35+ years of experience behind me.

      You can ask the buyer to extend the order timeline, but ideally you want to make sure you’re setting your order timelines so they are long enough to give you time to complete. Incomplete or late orders will hurt your stats.

    What do you do when you kick off and start to have too many requests? What happens when you have no other option but to reject gigs because you just don't have enough time to do them? Does Fiverr rate you unfavorably? Thanks.

    • @MikeNardiTV
      @MikeNardiTV  2 роки тому +15

      First of all, that sounds like a pretty great problem to have! Too many orders that you can't complete them all! Basically what I would do is as soon as I feel this is happening either increase my prices, or extend my delivery timeline (for future orders). This should help keep things more manageable moving forward, as for existing orders that you have in the queue I would NOT cancel them. Instead would kindly ask the buyer if you could extend delivery based on unforeseen influx of orders. Hope this helps!

    I just need some advice because I've had a fiverr since 2020. I do art commissions of original characters and fanart or concept art. But i have NEVER had even one buyer. I post on social media, i have pictures of my work. I don't think it's bc my qrt is just bad, i mean i took art classes in both highschool and college 😅 i just don't understand why I haven't ever got even ONE buyer. Not one! What am i doing wrong? It's like no one even SEES my profile on there.
