The MythBusters did an episode on Walter machine gun trap and they found it would be plausible
It was a genius creation!
They also showed Hydrofluoric acid wouldn't actually dissolve a body, either. There's a UA-cam video about this; just search 'Mythbusters - Breaking Bad'.

Better Call Saul took me FOREVER to watch but I'm glad I did because as a prequel/sequel, it's pretty fantastic, despite getting completely snubbed at the Enmys, compared to its predecessor. I stopped watching Awards shows pre-COVID.
I've just started my BCS reactions and I agree that it's an amazing show in its own right.

I really enjoyed your _Breaking Bad_ reactions, and I'm looking forward to _BCS._
I always cry at the end...for everyone [ Walts's family and Jesse ] and what they went through and that includes Walt for allowing Heisenberg to take over and destroy him and everyone he loved. All he had to do was swallow his pride and accept the money offered and he would have died in a bed surrounded by his family instead of dying in a meth lab surrounded by his creation...his baby blue.
Definitely a fitting yet tragic end for Walt
His entire life was spent swallowing pride. That's the whole point.

Plot twist: Walt forgot which way the M60 was pointed and parked his Cadillac the wrong way.
Anyway, great reaction to this finale and I'm looking forward to see your El Camino as well as Better Call Saul reactions :) (Be prepared: BCS has 6 Seasons with a total of 63 episodes, one more than Breaking Bad ;) )

Good catch on the tie in with crawl space. I’ve heard some describe the crawl space scene as the death of Walter white and this scene as the death of Heisenberg
Thats a great point! I think Walter may have died earlier, but it’s hard to pinpoint his exact moment of transformation 🤷♀️

Really enjoyed your reactions to this show ☺️ It was nice watching someone be surprised by the automatic contraption Walt made at the end, I’m not always a highly observant viewer and I found that so surprising and awesome but most reactors are focusing on so many tiny details trying to anticipate and it’s a little less fun when they figure out what’s happening before it happens lol.
It’s hard to catch everything the first time with this show. Thanks for following along 😊
@@kai_masters I agree and I know I missed a ton of stuff the first time! I think audiences can be kind of harsh on reactors for missing stuff so a lot of reactors kind of over focus on every minute second to avoid that criticism but I think it makes for a less natural reaction in some ways.
I like that Walt tackled Jesse pretending to be mad, meanwhile he knew the gun fire from his trunk was coming. He protected him there.
I like how Walt still held some regard for Jesse.
@@kai_masters what he did to Jesse was unforgivable and they both knew it. There is no redemption for Walt just acknowledging what they went through

Are the Albuquerque cops just incompetent? Todd and company are able to get into Walt’s house with the cops sitting outside and Walt is able to get into Skylar’s apartment with the cops sitting outside.
I thought that was weird too. Either a plot hole or bad cops lol
In the pilot the doc told Walt that he had 2 years left to live best case scenario. And he died 2 years later.

2 things, first you said "better safe than sorry" for Walt using so many bullets on Jack Welker and his gang. Shouldn't it be "better NOT safe than sorry"? LOL, JK
Finally, the temperature is supposed to be set to 85° for the batch, but in the last scene when Walt taps on the temp meter glass, it says 86°, I wonder if that means anything...

I absolutely love Better Call Saul! Like BrBa, it gets better and more intense as the show progresses. I think you will love it, too. It is a shame you were spoiled on who would be in the cast.
It actually motivated me even more to watch the show. The idea of another show with the likes of Mike, Gus and Saul was too much to resist!

From a timeline, I would suggest El Camino first. I have enjoyed your reactions as much as I have enjoyed reliving the Breaking Bad experience. Walt jumped on top of Jesse and held him down to keep him safe so he wouldn't get shot. This finale really closed all the gaps with Gretchen & Elliot, Lydia, Jack and his gang, Tyler, Hanks buriel site. Walt became a bad man but in the end, he came thru in freeing Jesse and getting some closure everywhere he could. You are going to love Better Call Saul! just sayin'

I just commented that I was so annoyed at a Sixth Sense reaction because one of the girls ruined it for the other. And now, this girl was ruined by Better Call Saul's surprises. It's so pathetic. It makes me not even want to watch.
It’s unfathomable. But yup, I’ve seen some that outright do it on purpose, not even trying to hide it. Some reactors’s moderators warn then block those people but not everyone can afford that luxury.
What?
Despite plenty of blame going around to Walt and others I always felt Jesse destroyed everything. Had he just gone away early on Walt would be peacefully cooking meth with Gale for Gus. Of course there's still Hank discovering the truth because of Walt's silly toilet book mistake. Still a lot of chaos and bloodshed could have been avoided had Jesse not put a wrench in everything.
That’s an interesting perspective but I’ll agree to disagree. Walt always wanted Jesse to cook for him in the first place. Jesse made a lot of mistakes but Walt brought on a lot of his own misery.
