You had cold bore flyers. That first shot was a flyer because your chamber lead has fouling that needs cleaning. Use s .243 brush on the chamber to clean the lead every 200 rounds.

Of course it would better. You shot with another brand and another type of bullets and the barrel needs to foul with the new ammunition.

I agree he needs to shoot 2 or three to refoul the barrel between brands then shoot for group.

10-20 to foul barrel depending on rifle. My kidd takes around 15 rounds before it settles down and groups
