Well, you gotta take system limitations in consideration, it's not like the makers of the game had enough time to make the fight extremely difficult, try fighting chaos soma on "Dawn of disonnance", that guy has more attacks.
Is the version you have 100% functional? The thing is that the version they leave on the page that was left has Soma bugged and if you get him in battle or you choose him as a character, the game will crash

Yes it's a fangame made in the Mugen engine. Some people also refer to it as Serio's Castlevania Fighter
