Currently working on the next patch but I'm a lot behind due to making a huge patch almost a game rewrite update to another game I made called Monolith Tiermes for a dungeon crawler jam. Once that update is done I'm back working on this game 100%. I dont have a time frame as I'm bad with those but I originally intended to finish Simons Curse this year but I'm uncertain about that. It still has lots of content to play and saves SHOULD always work with future versions as well. If you follow the project you get notifications once a new version comes out. Thanks for showing interest in the project =)
Gonna have to add the recent Castlevania ReVamped to the list. Best Castlevania fan game I’ve played. Lecarde Chronicles 2 is right up there alongside it, though.

Chronicles 2 was great. And it had one of the most satisfying final boss fights in the series. It was rough and felt good when I finally beat him. I do wish there was an option to choose a more toned down soundtrack, like the original game. I’ve never been a big fan of the heavy metal music people sometimes use in Castlevania games.

Konami is not as big as the rest of the gaming companies, but they are still widely known around the world. Still much respect to them for not shutting down Fan games.
Castlevania The Lecarde Chronicles 2 is still the best fan game ever made, in my opinion. Lecarde 1, despite its gameplay shortcomings, is a masterpiece when it comes to dark atmosphere. On that list, the only one I never played was Serio's.
I got stuck in the castle portion of Lecarde 2 and had to take a break from it. I definitely want to go back and play it again but actually complete it this time. Such a well-made game.
I recommend you two more games: Vampire Blaze and Return of Egypt, two of the greatest Castlevania fangames ever! also, "Seal of the Curse" if you don't mind the heavy goth style :3
Finished Lecarde Chronicles 2 about a week ago. Absolutely amazing, both the game and the soundtrack, despite being fan made. The quality is very good. I'd love to play another installment! Castlevania ReVamped less so - feels like a racing game. 😅

That one in unreal looked great, well all of them did, but make a better whip animation and it would be badass, it kinda looks like he is slapping at a bug or something. Draculas curse 2020 was very well done, and seems all the music is great

Sad how the few great ones are STILL not finished and it's been over five years (8 for one) like Simon's Curse and The Transylvania Adventure of Simon Quest which again - 8 years and still supposedly only 60% completed. No one wants to play demos...and by the time they finish these games it'll be too little, too late and the fan fare will be lost.

I think that must have released after this video was made. Warmachine is making great progress on remaking Castlevania Adventure next. Looking forward to that one.
Unpopular opinion, «The Lecarde Chronicles» duology is one of the bad ones, due to its level design & imbalance, and taking into account further games that the dev released on Steam, I'm not alone in this opinion, since they didn't get any better. No negativity, just frustration, and now there are a lot of much better projects that aren't overrated.

Those are 2 of the best Castlevania games I’ve ever played. TLC2 is extremely hard though and can be frustrating at times, so be prepared!
