Yes I did. We see so little of him that I forgot he existed. He was supposed to be in one of the cancelled games so maybe that's why they added him to the Lords Of Shadow timeline.
Right. This was the only mention of her. At the end of her game, she has a child that is widely believed to be hers and Alucard's. While not confirmed that child could be Trevor, Christopher, or Simon since Legends was originally supposed to be the Castlevania origin story.
Sonya isn't a Belmont in the official timeline. Her inclusion actually makes it impossible for the rest of the Belmont to continue given she was supposed to have had a child with Alucard. That would require her to have a child out of wedlock regardless to carry on the Belmont name because women take on their husband's surname. If anyone knows anything about history and Eastern Europe, you're disowned or worse for having kids outside of marriage and that child is considered a bastard and doesn't inherit anything. So either she has a dhampir that breaks it being possible for Belmont like to continue or she has a kid that doesn't actually become head of the clan. It's part why Iga excluded it and also the team behind Legends didn't actually put thought behind it.
@blumiu2426 youre quite a speculatist. Did you ask IGA personally? You are also basing it on your own theories just like everybody else. Just saying too.
@@m.adrians.a.5137 You're making an assumption. If you knew the lore, you'd know why that game doesn't fit into the canon IGA was building and had when they went and made that game. He spoke himself in part on why it wasn't included and the rest is historical and basic facts. You need to learn about Eastern Europe in that century. They don't have to stick to every context, but basic societal norms would be impossible to separate. Sonya would have gotten knocked up producing a bastard child, bastard children do not inherit anything, thus the Belmont legacy is ended there. There is no other way around it as I said, because no Belmont would be a dhampir either. If they had consulted with IGA something different might have happened to make it work, but she wouldn't be wielding the Vampire Killer as successor to the clan.
@@blumiu2426 If that's true what if Sonia, Desmond, Zoe, and Dolores Belmont got a reintroduction for a new Castlevania game since all those four characters aren't Canon.. Will they ever be given another chance again in future installments? I really wish there was a Lords of Shadow 3..
@@androsthewarriorhighalpha Of course they could be. I don't know in what why they could return, but wouldn't be hard to do considering it's every 100 years Dracula returns? If that's the case, we have two generation of Belmont in between at least, maybe even three given people married early back then. Order of Shadow took place in 1600s and that is between Christopher and Simon. Desmond wouldn't be fighting Dracula, but it would end up naming him as either a grandchild of Christopher (Soliel's son) or grandfather to Simon. And that's if it worked out that way. There is never contention with siblings of the whip heir because we know they had cousins and a clan, which means more than one, naturally. Plenty of room to tell stories of those related to the Belmont or those inbetween the fights with Dracula We've seen it with Bloodlines and Portrait of Ruin. Characters would need to be reworked, but there is the possibility they could just be dropped and create new Belmont. Castlevania could have so many games by now if Konami believed in the IP, even if relegated to handhelds instead of chasing trends.
The most badass vampire killer family. Yes
The Belmont Clan will hunt the Night 🌙
Bro forgot about victor from LOS2

@@Vampiresanddemonds yeah he was supposed to be in game where sonia was supposed to be featured in
I thought Sonia along with Legends wasn't considered canon anymore?
She's not, but I wanted to include everyone from the family even though I ended up missing one.

Ahh ok

You burned the story..., But thank you ✨
Correct. It presents too many issues to be possible.
